"DO NOT USE MIXBOOK! I just purchased a $90 book for a Christmas gift and it came out TERRIBLE! If you use Mixbook, do it at your own risk, and don't say we didn't try to tell you...
So maddened by their customer service and products."

"I usually do not slam companies like this, but this one aggravates me to no end. I ordered my cards using a groupon, and little did I know that it would take a very long time to receive my order. For more than two weeks, my order said that it was "Printing", and on my order confirmation, it stated that my expected delivery date was Dec. 16. On the 15th, I emailed them, asking if they were true to what they have stated, but no response. My status did not change the entire weekend, and on the 18th, I went on to their facebook page, just to look. Lo and behold, I see many complaints of the same. I wrote on their wall, and someone responded. I got an email response the same day. They offered me a refund on my shipping and a $10 credit for a future order, but nothing at the time about my cards. I was ready to ask them to cancel it all together, as I waited long enough. Later that night, I received another email that my order will be shipped over night. At that point, I expected that it will come today. They gave me a tracking number, and turns out that it's shipped by UPS Ground and will not arrive until tomorrow. Our UPS truck doesn't deliver until the evening, so it will be too late to go into the mail which means everyone will receive them after Christmas. Yes, it is just Christmas cards, but the aggravation of having to wait, then having to complain, then not getting what you were told, has me wanting to wish that Mixbook goes out of business because they cannot keep up with the demand. I wished I have never gotten the groupon and stuck with Shutterfly, which I use all the time. That said, I can't even comment on the quality of the cards since I don't have them. I also have seen many complaints about quality issues, so I am not holding my breath. Just the process of getting them to me is a headache, and I will never use Mixbook ever again."

"I did find the software a little clunky to use but not too bad. My problem with them is their customer service response. I paid for 'rush' processing on my book, and 8 days later it is still being 'printed'. I cannot get a hold of customer service at all - they will not respond to emails. I have a feeling this company is in over their head with the Christmas season? Don't promise 3-5 day processing if you can't deliver. And yes, their delivery charges are ridiculous. I will go back to using Shutterfly who has EXCELLENT customer service."

"Don't use this company! I bought Christmas cards through them that included pictures and the picture quality was horrible, and didn't look anything like what the proof online showed. Yes, the editing tools are great but your pictures will look much darker than they actually are, and the coloring will be unbalanced and blotchy. I paid for rush processing and overnight shipping and it still took them a week to print. I understand it's a busy time of the year but my friend ordered her cards from Vistaprint two days after I put in my order, and she got her cards the same day as I did, and they were sent parcel post. Don't waste your time, you can find companies that give you better quality for a lower price."

"I overall do not like mixbook as a company. I ordered 3 invitation cards. There were 3 seperate base shipping charges because it was 3 different cards. Make sure you look at thier shipping charges before ordering. Also I had a groupon for $50 worth or merchandise and thought I would get the sale prices on the website as listed at time of ordering. Not so much. It goes back to full price. AND you can't use a free shipping code or any other code for that matter. They definately nickle and dime the extra charges! Product recieved very quickly and was very nice. Lastly I wanted to ask customer service about the extra shipping charges. There is no number or email. You have to instant message a person. Very odd. Hope that helps. STICK WITH SHUTTERFLY THEY ARE THE BEST AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!"

"My overall experience with Mixbook was exceptional. The quality of the books was high, from the image color to the paper stock. The program to design the book is easy to use and makes layout fairly painless.I used the online chat once and my question was answered immediately. Our first order arrived two days later than we ordered but Mixbooks customer service credited us for the charges and gave us an additiona' discount on our next purchase. When we ordered more of the same books, they arrived two days earlier than we had expected and were were thrilled! Their service is excellent."

"came very highly recommended. I loved the final product, only a few things i would change, a little more variety for different ideas or packages. Birthdays are great family ones too but i think more ideas, instead of juvenile birthdays, maybe milestones a 40th 50th or anniversary stuff, just some ideas. It came quickly, and the staff on the chat lines were really helpful. I found that the shipping costs were quite high, so i just tried to complete multiple projects at once, and still was happy that the second option of shipping was still quick. They did a great job, and will definitely use again, keep making new pages, only other issue i had was some of the pics i wanted to use which were from facebook couldnt be used effectively, and hope that will change in time. thanks again"
