reply posted Apr-23-2011 “We are sorry that this customer had an issue with our store. This item that was shipped to this customer was brand new merchandise, which the customer can verify with the manufacture. When we receive our items, we quality inspect them. When we ship our items, we also quality inspect. This item shipped our warehouse in manufactures new condition, and was not refurbished in anyway. Nor did the item have scratches, blemishes, or any other defects. It was shipped in retail packaging.
We suggested to the customer that this could be a shipping issue, a fedex open inspect and reseal issue, or something could have gotten in the box to cause these slight scratches. We asked the customer if they would provide us photos of the items scratches, and they declined.
Our record of service over 10 years on ebay is 100% positive, based on 2200+ comments. We always make sure our customers are satisfied if given the opportunity.
We have offered the customer the opportunity to return the notebook. The customer declined returning the computer, and decided to keep the system. We estimate they saved $1100.00 by purchasing with us.
Its a shame that this customer did not give us a opportunity to understand the problem more, and to work with the customer on a solution before posting this review. We will use this feedback going forward for our future customers. Thank you again for your purchase and support.”
