"Misled by deceptive item description (Meritline copy name brand specs and paste to inferior item). Received a dollar-store quality trimmer with far lesser specs, after I ordered Qty 4 name-brand Micro Touch Max Personal Trimmer for $4.95 ea. Customer service says "item delivered is item described." "
"I ordered what was specified as printable CDs from meritline and when I received them they were not printable....when I contacted them I was told that they were only printable on thermal printers and not on ink jet printers (which is what 91% of people use including myself). After that I was told I ordered the wrong CDs...of course I would not have ordered the wrong CDs if meritline simply specified them as thermal printable in the item description in the first place. Aside from that, I had to contact them initially over 3 times just to verify my shipping address before they sent out my order....the wrong order....not good business."
"Beware!!They don't have something called Customer Service or at least they don't get it.If you must buy from them use PayPal to be protected, however I think PayPal will stop dealing with them after the huge number of complaints.I don't recommend dealing with them and would prefer Ebay for cheap stuff they have on their website."
"Ordered an item and the USPS site shows it delivered, but I did not receive it. For sure it went to another house and the neighbors here do not cough-up errant packages faithfully. I sent 4 requests to Meritline to resend the item, and they keep telling me to go knock on the neighborhood doors to find the package or go the the local USPS and find out where the package went. Are you kidding me??? What a joke!Good luck dealing with this company. I highly recommend avoiding MERITLINE."
"this is just a spam site to take the money from customer.. i saw if from google ads and i fked myself :(Order number was also not provided."
"Ordered a watch. took a few weeks to arrive from china. And it arrived dead. contacted CS about refund/replacement. guess what, i was actually asked to replace the batteries myself and check if it worked. i thought i had paid for the working product. didn't expect to be asked to fix the broken thing myself. besides, i am neither a watch-smith, nor do i have tools to fix the watch. When I replied I did not wish to fix it and wanted a refund instead, they just dropped the case and didn't bother to respond. since when is the customer expected to pay for presumably a new (and damaged) product, have it delivered broken, and fix it, too!! don't waste your money. Oh yes, it was Julie....again....who was the CS rep. Seems everyone is a "Julie" who works there. I also submitted a one-star negative review on their product page after this bad experience, which was promptly removed without any explanation, as expected!! "
"This is kind of joke service. No ANY info about order sent, their website shows SHIPPED , then CANCELED due to out of stock. Wait over week for refund, had to open case at PayPal. It's rather scam website than real seller - KEEP AWAY !"
"Great customer service! I ordered a (refurbished) wireless keyboard/mouse combo. The keyboard was defective upon receipt, but Meritline quickly replaced it with another set. Quick to respond and resolved the issue. A+"
"Bad product - worse customer service.Ordered inkjet cartridges for my Brother printer, and received them with less than 6 months expiration date! I dont know how long it has been sitting on THEIR shelves! Talking to Customer Service Julie: cant talk to supervisor OR CEO OR anyone: everyone out for lunch (permanently?), and the expiration date is MY (the customer) problem, since I did pay only so little for the product.Correct: the price was right - but they didnt advertise I will get a worthless product for it."
"Resellers of crappy electronics that are sent from Singapore and other countries (so basically they just get the cut).No added value, no customer service... worthless."
"I've been using MeritLine for techie gadgets and small splurges for about 4 years. In 32 orders I have had 2 problems, both on items I bought for $0.99, which just aren't worth RMA-ing. I especially like their Merax 2.5 inch HD enclosures, and I watch their Daily Deals for these and other favorites. One item this year sold out, and they sent me an email letting me know it was delayed - then got it to me a week before their revised estimate. Some items do ship directly from China; I just read the item info carefully and do not order things I want in a hurry if they come from China. The merchandise quality does vary, but their pictures and descriptions are accurate enough so I've known when I was getting something less sturdy for my smaller payment. I've always paid them with PayPal, and had no problems at all. They did not ask me to write a review - I just noticed that a company I frequently order from had a poor rating, and wanted to say that I have been quite satisfied with them."
"HORRIBLE!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!I recently placed an order (#1002****7), but because the billing address didn't match the card, I got an email asking me to reply with the correct billing address. I did so immediately, but then got another email a couple days later saying NO EMAIL had been received and meritline was cancelling my order. I went meritline.com to use the contact submission form to inform them of this and received this message upon hitting the "SUBMIT" button:We're sorry, but the page you're looking for no longer exists.Go to Meritline.com's Home PageBy this point, it was obvious they cannot be contacted via email OR web, so I called customer service to inform them of meritline's email problems AND the dead link on their webpage and that I wouldn't be following through with my order. Instead of thanking me for taking time out of my day to bring these issues to their attention, the lady I spoke to HUNG UP ON ME!!! So now I get to waste MORE time out of my day doing my due diligence as a consumer by informing everyone else that this is a HORRIBLE merchant and POSSIBLY A SCAM SITE!! If ANYTHING AT ALL goes wrong with your order, good luck getting them to give half a damn!"
"I placed an order online and later got an email telling me I entered an incorrect CC security code #. Not true but I replied with the code, I then got another email asking for the code again, which I submitted, only to get another email from them asking why my shipping address didnt match my billing. Uh, people ship to different locations, thats why they give you the option. So I get another email asking to verify the shipping address, at that point I requested them to cancel my $20 order since it seemed like it was more than they could handle. When i checked my bank statement, they charged me 3 seperate times for the order even though they claimed i didnt provide accurate information. A order so simple was beyond their capability with me. I wont ever shop there again."
"Bought two credit card size knives. Arrived a few weeks later. Two packets inside the envelope: one has a knife, another does not. Both packets are sealed. Be aware. "
"Poor customer service. I had ordered a Harmony Remote and upon delivery found the product inoperable. Despite their published return and refund policy the company failed to offer a refund and send I would only receive a replacement. Further they told me that I had to leave it to chance that they would replace the remote with a working unit. "
