"Good instore experience bad exchange expierence. Noticed the 30 day exchange is ONLY on products they deam "defective" and test for a few days. A product that doesn't work for your situation is not considered defective. So if you purchase from them test drive quickly because you have only 7 days to see if you like your device and see if it works for you. So don't go out of town or buy at when things are busy or you don't have time to test."

"Attempted to price match at Memory Express on Christmas Eve. Price match request wasn't processed until boxing day, when the competitor finally went out of stock.

Service rep called to tell me that my price match had been denied because they were out of stock. Rep then told me that I attempted the price match before the competitor's sale started using flyer ad prices (I live across the country from any single Aden Camera). Competitor's sale was available at least as early as the 23rd. http://forums.redflagdeals.com/aden-camera-canon-eos-rebel-t3i-body-w-ef-s-18-55mm-679-a-1122366/

Denied price match and lost the opportunity to buy at the competitor. Being called a liar on top of that is just the icing on the cake. Horrendous customer relations, not likely to shop there ever again."

"Beware combining the Uber Price Beat and in-store pickup.
Even though you place your order online, and have to give the competitor's promotion's URL, they don't have it on hand and want you to guide them through "how to get there". Not only that, but the promotion has to be valid and be in stock when you PICK IT UP, they don't care what it is when you place your order.
I guess this wouldn't be that big of a deal, except that it takes a couple days for your order to be ready, it doesn't mean the price beat has been accepted.
Let's just say that it's more worthwhile to pay a couple extra dollars to make sure you actually get what you ordered at a reasonable price."

"Memory express in Edmonton won't warrantee a video card a few months old because a sticker was coming off . I got a HIS radian 6870 hd from them a few months back, when I went to install it I noticed the sticker on the top was peeling off a bit. I was a bit annoyed but installed the card anyways. My comp would shut down sometimes after I installed it but didn't think anything of it since it was an old windows install and it only happend maybe once a week .I was going to finish my upgrade in a month with a new mb, CPU and ram anyways . After I got the rest of the upgrade I noticed my new comp was shutting down and black screening like my old one but starting to happen more often , I tried changing the drivers and after about 10 min of it working fine it totally crapped out . I tried the card in 2 computers and neither
will fire up with the vid card in them so I took it back to memory express . The douch bag at customer service counter told me to send it in myself before he even looked at it , I replied " I dont have time , I just want u guys to honor the warrantee and send it out" he open'd the box and looked at the sticker that was peeling up but not burnt and still a bit moist with the factory glue and he said" sorry this card was overheated , the sticker is peeling off and that's thermal paper , it only peels off if the card was over heated. So we won't warrantee it" Iv been a customer of memory express for years and had no problems with them till now. I feel like iv been taken advantage of and I won't ever be shopping there again , I have also informed my family to make sure none of them buy from these con artists either. Pls note the invoice number and date attached to this message are from my upgrade about a month later ,i figured if anyone from memory express sees this they could use the invoice number too look up my purchase history and see I did intact buy the stuff from them."

"Memory Express online:
I've ordered toner CLP-660B for Samsung. This was a special order (out of stock).
Toner was shipped 9 days later - this was great since MemExpress says that 2-4 weeks delay is possible.
Finally, I've got genuine Samsung toner (I've never seen before air insulation-ptotection packaging) for the best price in Canada, for lowest shipment price ($5.99) and 2 weeks after I've ordered it. Excellent job!"

"it is the ony place to buy my computer parts at. I no longer bother checking with the competitors. It is a store with friendly, knowledgable, and helpfull staff and they even have informative product review videos on you tube and a chance to win prizes."

"Memory Express is the type of computer store I have always dreamed of. Very clean and bright and filled with friendly and helpful staff. I've always enjoyed building my own computers and getting the most bang for my buck. I would never dream of buying an HP or Acer somewhere like Future Shop as 'custom' is always the way to go.

Most of the time their prices are lower by at least a few dollars, but in cases where it's not I end up saving more by using their price beat guarantee.

The biggest plus is probably just how knowledgeable the staff are. It's very difficult to keep up with all the changes and new technologies, so a lot of the time I'll need advice. I always go with their recommendations on my custom builds and have been very happy with each one of them. I've recommended them to some of my non tech savvy friends who were very impressed with their end result and just how easy it was."

"Memory Express certainly doesn't care about their customers. They just wanna make the sale and returning anything is almost impossible."
