"I ordered RAM for my printer from MemoryTen. It arrived but the DIMM was damaged. A piece of it had broken off and it was clear this had happened because they had packaged it poorly. A small SODIMM was in a full size DIMM plastic container and it was bouncing all over the place.

The DIMM packaging in a fedex envelope and not even a box. They really skimped on packaging. When I told them this over the phone they refused to acknowledge it and seemed to want to blame the shipper.

I tried the damaged memory in my printer but of course it didn't work.

I called them and tried to get them to send me a replacement. I went through the trouble of filling out their form. They told me they would send another one but that never arrived.

I emailed them repeatedly but they simply stopped responding. This is unacceptable and I will never buy anything from them again! It's not so much about the 50 dollars i lost but all the time and headache this whole thing caused. I do not care to repeat this experience with them!

“It is MemoryTen procedure, whenever a call or email comes in regarding a damaged package to request information as to the courier. In most cases we will file a claim with the courier, and they will determine after investigation, if the claim gets paid. This is standard procedure, and our Lost/Damaged shipment forms have to be signed and returned for us to follow through with reshipping. Whether inadequate packaging or damage by the courier, we would reship another order in a timely fashion. As Customer Service Manager I apologize, it is my responsibility to follow up on these reshipments. Now that I am aware of your problem, I guarantee we will find a satisfactory solution.”

"I bought a 1g memory card about a month ago and I installed it and it worked fine. My ram increased to 1.5g. I bought another 1g card later and it caused problems with my laptop. In order to get my laptop to work I had to remove the 1g card and install the original 512 card. It's working now on 1g ram. What do you suggest I do now? I flew to San Antonio and back home and had the ram envelope in my briefcase unopened; I'm not sure if it got damaged by the luggage handlers. Thanks"

"Needed some memory in a pinch and found memoryten to have a great selection and good pricing. Placed the order with expedited shipping as I needed it for a job immediately. Got a notice from fedex days later that they require a signature with a photo ID for delivery... This was NEVER stated on the website. I work late and will never be home to receive a package nor can I leave work early enough to stop by the "holding station" to pick up the item. So I will not be getting this memory from them as Fedex will be returning the memory after three attempts. Called them to ask about the situation and was basically told that this is what they do. They acknowledged that the signature requirement is not listed on the site. No one offered to expedite the shipping of the memory to me without a signature requirement based on my deadlines. The lady didn't seem to care one way or another. I WILL NOT be doing business with this company again.

IN RESPONSE TO MEMORY TEN'S REPLY:

My order was NOT over $100 and the paperwork left by FedEx on the door stated that a signature and photo ID would be required for delivery.

I receive packages from all the major delivery companies every week and it is the seller who determines under what circumstances the package can be delivered. If you choose to require a signature for packages then I suggest you state that on your website so that the customer knows up front. You do not have to imply that the order exceeded a maximum amount that required a signature as though you couldn't do anything about it."

“All Fedex shipments over $100 require signature at delivery, we do not request photo ID for any shipments.”

"I ordered 3 ProMOS V916765K24QCFW-F5 DDR2 667 1GB for my Dell XPS 400 and they sent me a different brand of RAM. The RAM works in my computer but it is not what I ordered. I paid for ProMOS, so I expect to get ProMOS.

Reading the other reviews here I am obviously not the only one they have done this too. If I wanted a knockoff I would have paid for a knock off. I could have gotten what they sent me for less on a different site.

I am VERY DISSATISFIED with MemoryTen.

The products are VERY HIGH PRICED considering they are falsely advertising knockoffs as normal products and charging accordingly.

I am NOT AT ALL LIKELY to shop with MemoryTen ever again.

The shipping is the only thing I do not have a problem with, it was VERY GOOD. The only thing they could have done better here is provide an estimate of when it was to arrive.

I would NEVER buy from this site again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT to anyone."

"I'm very satisfied. Fast delivery, reasonable price. Both memory modules work greatly as expected. Specifications given on the Web site are pertinent to make a good decision of purchase. For my next memory purchase, I'll look MemoryTen first, they give a professional service.
I will recommand to my friends."
