I'd like to respond to this review as I feel it unfairly represents our company. This order doesn't have an invoice linked but I believe I recall the situation based on the description of the review.
After your purchase we gave you the option of cancelling the order due to the perception of the high shipping cost. It is clearly listed on the check out page, as well as on the shopping cart page. After the order was placed we allowed you to cancel it at no charge and you declined.
Your order was for substantially less than $100 as well, with many mats, 2 of which you felt were of a different color than represented on the site. We do understand that it is difficult to judge some colors on the Internet so we offer samples for $1 to compensate.
Rest assured, we take the user experience very seriously and if we ever make a mistake on an order we immediately send another mat to replace it at no charge.
In this instance we fulfilled your order exactly, in a timely fashion, and we felt that a discount to reimburse you for the bad experience was a fair exchange.”

As a non professional framer, I was overwhelmed with the amount of information and I really just wanted some matte boards. In the end. even though I measured my artwork and I did my best to try to make everything line up, when the matte boards came they were all slightly too large. <br><br>I also choose a color that looked darker on their website. When I got it, it was horribly mud matched with my house, so those were thrown away. I mentioned this to customer service and they offered me 10% or 15% off if I wanted to buy some more. That was more of an insult than helpful. <br><br> Then there was shipping. I may have missed the page where shipping was added in, but it severely destroyed any price advantage thus company had. I was upset that I did not seed the shopping cost until I got the final invoice. "I do a lot of matting and framing, and their prices are far less expensive than in my local craft stores. Plus, their measuring tools allowed me to get a great fit even though my prints were kind of oddly-sized. You do pay a bit for shipping if you only need one mat, so I would suggest getting several at one time. They were sent to me really fast and in a sturdy package. I will definitely use this company again when I need mats."
