"December 7, 2002, I purchased a Compact Flash card from MacMall, and today, December 9, 2002, I received it. The 128mb flash card was only 1 1/2 by 2 inches long, but the box it came in was big enough to stuff a case of potatoes in it. MacMalls price for the flash card was great, and just about the lowest on the internet. My only question is that there's a rebate with this purchase, and I would think that a rebate form would have been in the box with the compact flash. So, I went to MacMall's website, and downloaded the rebate form. Before I ordered from them,I check them out on "Resellerratings", and it didn't look too good to me, but, I decided to give them a try, and they came through, as quick as a flash. So, my small purchase was fine, but, I'll know for sure if I get the rebate money back in a "fair" amount of time."

"Purchased the Lacie 160GB external HD on 11/20/03. Item was shipped that same day and I got it today 11/21/03 for only $9.99 Fedex next day shipping. Doesnt get much better than that. So far no bogus charges to my credit card and I find their prices are somewhat competitive. Dont know about Customer service as I didnt deal with an actual person on the phone, all was done online. The only thing is I didnt receive a tracking # but I was able to track the shipment from their site.
One word of caution folks always read the disclaimer on the site before you buy from anyone. Alot of people left reviews about not being able to return defective products. Well they specifically state some products cannot be returned to them and they give a list of manufacturers and from what i've seen alot of online sites have these same policies.
Oh ya and READ THE FINE PRINT about those rebates and free product offers folks. They usually include some kind of installation/processing fee or may already be expired.
Other than that I am very satisfied with my experience. "
