"I ordered from here after reading SEVERAL reviews. I must say that they were all about the same scenario over and over again. However, I still purchased from them.I saved screen shots of *everything* I saw on-line. Printed my receipt and the product description including the "box contents". I did call before I ordered and asked what was in the box and what shipped with the order (warranty, charger, etc). They did state that it was indeed in stock and their comments matched their web page and the OEM's (Sony) box contents.2006-07-13 - Placed order on-line.2006-07-13 - Received e-mail confirmation of my order. I paid via Visa and used the Visa Verify option.2006-07-14 - Received a phone call stating they needed confirmation of my order. Hmm... this sounds familiar. Just like all the other postings here.2006-07-15 - I called them back and all they said they needed was to verify my Zipcode and for some reason they didn't have my shipping zipcode. I said that it was the same as my billing zipcode that was e-mailed to me so I didn't understand why they didn't have it! Duh! Of course they asked if I needed anything else or any other accessories. I said no b/c I have another very similar camera and I am just upgrading so I will use my old accessories on the new camera. The sales person didn't say much after that and then stated my order should ship out soon. I did verify that it was in stock again before I hung up.2006-07-16 - Receive e-mail confirmation that my order has shipped and it included a UPS tracking #.2006-07-19 - Package delivered. Package and OEM box is as described with exactly everything I wanted.They did have the absolute lowest price I could find (that was in stock). No sales tax. 2~3 day shipping at the lowest price. I even found a $10 off coupon on-line (paid for the shipping). Even though I knew my order would be delayed b/c of that stupid sales-callback thing they do, I am satisfied. It was a risk and I think I "beat the system". :)I see that their web site states that they have gone out of business. Hmm.... Doesn't surprise me.-LeeNashville, TN"
"I ordered a $1123 LCD TV and after having to call them and after refusing to buy extra accessories they assured me that the order was gonna be ship on monday july 24th. I called again to get the tracking information and they told me that it was gonna be shipped for sure on july 25th. I called on july 26th and I got the famous message saying that they are now out of business.PLEASE HELP!!! What can I do? Does Visa protects me against this kind of FRAUDS??"
"I placed an order for a Canon PowerShot S2 IS through MPSuperstore on July 20th, and they charged my credit card for it on July 24th.They tried to get me to buy extras in a subsequent phone call, but took "no" for an answer and said it would ship that day.I tried to check the order status today, only to find that they had gone out of business. I sent them an email to the address listed on their "going out of business" page (which is apparently their entire website now) asking what was going on, but have received no reply.I just called the company phone number listed on my receipt, and it just repeated the "going out of business" mantra, with no way to talk to anyone.Does anyone have any other way to reach these bums?"
"Good overall service: + fast delivery+ good about replacing defective product, gave me no hassles- could be more timely with updates on delivery status (twice I received item before receiving e-mail saying it was sent)- did not like initial order being delayed for "confirmation" phone call where they wanted to sell more services/products"
"I had a great experience with this store. I placed an order on Thursday, 11/6/03 for a Canon EOS Digital Rebel with Lens. I received a phone call from one of their sales guys on Sunday, 11/9/03 who claimed that he wanted to confirm my order. In reality, I think that he just wanted to sell me some accessories and an extended warranty. I declined each one of his offers and he politely confirmed that I should be receiving my order in 7-10 days. I received my package on Tuesday 11/11/03. Everything arrived just as described on their website. I would say that getting the sales call after the order is kind of annoying but if you purchase a camera at Circuit City, their sales people also try to sell you accessories and an extended warranty. This store has great prices and service. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience. "

"On 11/12/03 MP Superstore was advertising with MSN in their "12 Days of Deals" promotion offering 20% off all PDA's. I purchased 2 PDA's and on the final price confirmation they would not honor the 20% discount. They stated the promotion was over. It did not matter that the MSN promotion was still active and MP Superstore's advertisement was still listed."
"Placed order on Nov. 7. Received an email requesting more information. Emailed back requesting which specific information was needed. Never heard back from them. Today, I checked the order status - it says "This order has been marked cancelled, for additional information"This place is either unreputable or extremely disorganized. I will not deal with them again and do not recommend them to anyone!"
"Beware.These guys are crooks!They will try to sell you overpriced options. Delivery is very slow. They don't have good control and I was shipped twice the same product. When returning the product the refund to my creditcard was slow and wrong.Don't buy there. It will cost you more than you think!"
