I GOT MY NEW ROCKING BUDS MONDAY MORNING!<br><br>Now, how can I channel my excitment of these awesome in-ear buds into this review? I feel like I was on the great end of some big mistake. How can I get such great service and quality from such a low price? <br><br>My quest started out because I had these old in-ear phones that were thrown in an order of an older mp4nation mp4 player that I bought years ago. I never used them until reciently because I just didnt need them. Theye were a pre-ordered or a pre-market throw in. NOW I realize what coolness there are because I needed in-ear phones for my Cancun and Brazil trips. They sounded great but didnty have a mic. SO... I decided to pickup a great pair of Klipsch Image S4A. They are $99.00 and reviewed everywhere. Thought it would be for me. I was so wrong. They were sent back the same day. I was bummed. Then it hit me, WHY NOT CHECK THE BRAINWAVZ? So, I looked up Amazon and mp4nation and it lead me to what I needed all along. Let me tell you about the BRAINWAVZ Beta IEM with mic. IT IS 1\/3 the price of the Klipsch and it SOUNDS BETTER! FITS BETTER. ummm... I feel better because I saved monet! What else???? The sound is much better out of the box than the Klipsch. I have been breaking in the Brainwavz with pink noise. I just cant be happier. Really.<br><br>In use comments:<br>1. I would have SWORE that the silicon tips would be best for me. They were in the Alphas I have. But the Comply are just special. Really cool.... <br><br>2. Sound is very full. Just to let you know what I have listened to in the past few minutes: Motorhead, Megadeath, Metallica, Ratt, Oscar Peterson and Ray Brown Trio. Bass isnt my thing but BASS LINES are. Music sounds great. The highs are there. Mids... the bass doesnt need boosting. <br><br>3. I am using my Fiio nationite preamp... "I purchased a nationite midnite on mp4nation. It took awhile for shipping to get it here, but I knew that when I bought, so that was no big deal.
The product I received, however, was defective. Basically, the screen would only intermittently turn on. Once it was on it would stay on, but it could take 30 minutes to get it to start. I went to mp4nations support site, filled out a ticket, and after a few posts they asked me to send the unit back. I did, and once received they said "the damage related to user usage and not defect in workmanship". I can assure you that I did nothing to the device. Because it was so hard to turn on, I basically just had it on my counter.
The net result is it seems mp4nation is not an honest company. I will never be buying from them again."
