"These guys are great. They have been tremendously good sports from the get go. Let me explain: I originally purchased a processor adaptor for my slot 1 computer back in January 2003 that was on sale. It was probably my 1st experience with online buying, and was a little paranoid. We sent them a check, and they never got it ;( So, we were concerned, but Lynn Computers kept the sale price, and we purchased it again, this time with a credit card. It came, no questions asked. Now the adaptor had a 3 year warranty. I only vaguely remembered who I had purchased the adaptor from when it began to fail. I emailed a company that seemed to fit the profile (turns out it was the right one; they knew who I was and had my old email addy). It took me a while to make good on the RMA# they gave me, but when I returned it, 2.8 years from when I purchased the adaptor with its 3 year warranty, they replaced it, again, no questions asked. These guys are GREAT. "
"Ordered a powerleap upgrade adapter from this company. Had no problems and the shipping was very timely. Overall good experience."
"Great seller, easy to work with, prompt shipping. Very accommodating when I ordered the wrong product, provided good customer service."
"reasonable prices and fast shipment. i am very satisfied. i do not know about their return policy however, since what i received was in perfect working order."
"I purchased the PowerLeap PL-iP3 CPU adapter from Lynn Computer Products' website. It was shipped quickly and I had it in my hands in 2 days. Credit card billing went smoothly. I would buy from them again if the need arises. "
"I had some problem because of the happy Spanish customs and Pay-Pal that did not inform to me on time into which all the required one had been fulfilled. The reality is that the Lynn company to computer worked at any moment perfect. I had communication, good delivery and the product in perfect very well packed state and. It would return to buy to them?, if of course.Greetings"
"invoice number is the ebay auction number on which I bought two , hard to find, powerleap adapters for a workstation board. Lynn Computer Products could provide them andit was a smooth and pleasant transaction.Within 7 days after payment I had the goodsdelivered , here in The Netherlands.Seller rating A+"
"I am really satisfied with them for my first purchase an "ASUS A7M266-D" motherboard. My second order a "Dlink DI604" router, they made an error in quoting and billing. They told me that they will charge me $39 for the router and they charged me $45 which I really didn't mind for the price difference but still this was very unprofessional of them not to let me know at that time.Latest Update 3/8/2004----------------------Today the shop emailed me this"Hi, sorry this was error in quoting and billing and we have credit your account $6. Our apologies this happened. Please update your review on www.resellerratings.com".I certainly accept your apologies Lynncomp and welcome your turnover in trying to make your business more consumer focused.I will certainly buy from you again! Thank you."
"My order did not go thru as I am located outside of the US. But that did not stop them from providing as much help as possible. Like I said, I did not get my package as they do not ship to freight fowarder addresses which is a bummer, as it is listed with my credit card company and I have made purchases and received them many times before.Over all, I was satisfied with their service, though it was a bit pricey."
"I found a motherboard on Lynn Computer Products' web site that I was interested in. The item was marked "regular price" $199, on "clearance" for $139. As vendors with good feedback ratings on ebay are selling the same board (new) on ebay for $169 + shipping, it did not seem at all far fetched to find a new one on "clearance" for $139.When I received the motherboard, I first noticed that the manufacturer's box was in ratty condition. After opening the box, I found that the contents in the box were in used condition. I immediately contacted Lynn Computer Products and made an enquiry about the condition of the merchandise I received. I pointed out that no where in their written ad did it say that the product was used. Lynn Computer Products stated that it was an oversight and that it should have said "refurbished." I then advised Lynn Computer Products that I would not have ordered the motherboard had I known that the item was used. Since it was Lynn Computer Products' improperly worded ad that led me to order the board, I requested a full refund including shipping both ways. Lynn Computer Products refused to refund the shipping cost I paid to ship the board to me. Instead, I was given 2 options:1.) If I returned the motherboard for a refund, they would split the return shipping cost ($7.50 credit) but not refund the original shipping cost of $15 I paid to ship the motherboard to me.2.) If I returned the motherboard and paid the difference for another motherboard (one that sells for $215) they would waive the shipping cost for that board and also split the return shipping cost.If I accepted option 1, I would be out of pocket $22.50 ($15 + 7.50) to get a $139 refund. If I accepted option 2, I would be out of pocket $83.50 ($76 + 7.50) to upgrade the sale (which also puts more money in Lynn Computer Products' pocket)The most cost effective option for me was to just keep the motherboard. I contacted MSI tech support and gave them the serial number for the board. They verified that it still had the balance of its 3 year warranty. It was Lynn Computer Products' fault for improperly wording the ad. Lynn Computer Products should have accepted full responsibility and refunded all of my money. Instead, they punish their customers for their mistakes. You guys decide whether or not you want to do business with a company like Lynn Computer Products.Edit ==> 5/24/04I like how they point out that "shipping is expensive....." They still feel that the customer (me) is responsible even though it was their misrepresentation on the condition of the product. Not cool. I've filed complaints with their local BBB and Attorney General's office. Might not help me but perhaps the next person."
"Lied about condition of product. Advertised as "new". Came scratched up and dusty. Clearly used.Would not make this right. Ignores emails now."
"Dealing with this company was excellent. They replied by email immediately. Their shipping turnaround was super fast and the item was packaged very well. I am very happy with them. The processor upgrade I purchased is outstanding."
