I BET they don't!!! They are crooks! The web is flooded with complaints from customers who have been chasing them for MONTHS for refunds, sometimes totally several hundred pounds, for returned footwear. I am in that boat, though the overdue refund I've been chasing since early February 2012 (today is 1st June '12) is for less than £50 - BUT IT'S MY MONEY, NOT THEIRS!!!

I find so many people have had to resort to Trading Standards and even solicitors and debt collectors. That is my next step. If I just let it go and forget it, I won't miss the money - but the point here is the principle. These people are STEALING MONEY from their customers, and that is A CRIMINAL OFFENCE. They should have been closed down and banned from trading months ago. Instead, they are apparently expanding into Europe. Is that why they're hanging onto money they owe - to fund their expansion? Or has it been disastrous and they're on the brink of receivership?

They also lie about medical impossibilities. They claim some of their shoes can cure bunions. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! Bunions are NOT caused by bad shoes. They are caused by a congenital defect that can ONLY BE CURED BY SURGERY. I know because I'm having it done.

I've bought five pairs of footwear from LoveThoseShoes. Two I returned because they were Not Fit for Purpose in any way, shape of form, especially not their claims about comfort. They were cripplingly dreadful. The other three I tolerated because I couldn't be bothered to send them back for a half size smaller. Little did I know that if I had returned them, I'd now be minus replacement shoes/boots and minus the money. It took until my last order to find that out. Two pairs of seriously crap shoes, returned months ago, and no refund.

I emailed them to ask for a 'phone number because they've stopped publishing one on their website. They replied saying they are so busy they can't handle 'phone calls and would I please email my query. So I emailed my Very Serious Complaint about my missing refund and, guess what? No reply. That was about my seventh email on the subject. The first two got replies. I was even told that the matter was being referred directly to the Finance Director who would raise it to highest priority. Clearly he/she didn't. Since then my emails - a couple of dozen of them - have gone ignored.

It is very clear that Love Those Shoes (lovethoseshoes.com) have absolutely no intention of giving refunds if they can avoid doing so and the only way to force them to cough up is to threaten them with legal action in the correct, formal way. To do this, contact Stockport Trading Standards office, who will advise.

Lovethoseshoes.com are crooks. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They must be put out of business and all their directors banned from trading."

"Total charlatans! They claim to have a 365 day refund policy but I have returned 2 pairs of shoes to them (totalling £170) in the past 8 months and have yet to receive my money back. Avoid them at all costs!!"
