"I have been using the Logos software ever since graduating for seminary two years ago. I am by profession an I.T. professional and have used many software programs. I have found the Logos software (I have the Silver Scholars Edition) to be a veritable goldmine for my apologetic and theological studies. There are many features, some I have yet to use, but right from the start significant study can be performed. I would recommend the instructional courses offered so as to maximize your use of this tremendous tool.
I feel very confident and comfortable with recommending this software to anyone looking to kick their Bible studies up several notches. You will not be disappointed."

"I have been ordering from Logos for several years. As a Bible translator overseas, the electronic book system, with hyperlinks and rollover popup windows, saves me hours of time daily. The native co-translator and I drafted 75% of the NT in 2 years, and one reason we could do so was the ease of study made available by Logos/Libronix.

It also makes resources available that I would not otherwise be able to consult, which makes my exegesis better. Their Libronix Digital Library System is so good that our parent organization is moving their resources onto the Libronix DLS platform.

Additionally, their customer service and email communications have been top-notch. Their online ordering system and book unlock system works very well, very user-friendly. I highly recommend this system for ANY pastor, serious teacher, Bible translator, or other scholarly type, for Biblical study (exegetical research) and preparation (copy&paste inserts the bibliographical info in the footnote automatically!).

Logos does not cause conflicts on my computer, and they stay up to date with the latest operating systems (OS) changes.

They are professional in their choice of digital resources to offer (a wide variety!, and some of the top notch scholarly resources). They are also professional and friendly in their email communications. When I once had a problem with a shipped product, it was quickly resolved.

I cannot say enough about Logos. I wish more people would use it. I consider it an investment in my work. SDG."

"Took 4 weeks to get receive my order. After 3 weeks, I sent an email asking about it, and I got back an automated "We're too busy right now" reply. My order came a week later with no explanations.

Honestly, it would have just been faster to walk to WA to pick it up myself."

"Top notch bible software!!! Very proffessional customer service and helpful website. It has never been easier to find that verse or topic and study the Bible than this. This software helps me very greatly when it comes to research and debating and works seamlessly with all books you have purchased through logos past present and future."

"After fighting with version 4 for the last few days, including hours spent watching videos and searching forums, I am very disappointed with this version, and deeply regret the upgrade. Here is what I have found so far, and why I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this product:

There is no way to control the library resources. I don’t need, or want all the resources I have purchased over the years to consume space on my hard drive. With this new version I now have gigs of space taken up by books that I don’t need, or use.

I am unable to share Logos with other users on my computer. My wife also uses this, and now she can’t use it when logged on with her profile. I see that your new end user agreement spells this out, which I not only think is ridiculous, but also deceitful. Just as I have a physical bookshelf in my house that both me and my wife use, we should be able to use these books on our shared computer. Also in regards to my first point you not only require me and my wife to purchase separate licenses, but with us sharing a computer you require us to use up precious hard drive space with multiple copies of the resources.

The search function doesn’t work right. In version 3 for instance I search for the topic of Baptism and I get 208 hits, version 4 only finds 1 hit under topics (version 4 does find over 11,000 hits in my library, but that is almost useless).

Version 4 seems to run much slower, especially on startup.

It is more cumbersome to insert scripture into my Word docs.

At this point I feel like I wasted my money, which is very hard to come by these days, and wish there was some way I could trade in Logos and all the resources I have purchased over the years, just as I do with physical books, and use that money to get one of the better products made by one of thier competitors."

"I found Logos to be very reliable with its products and treatment of its customers. I have done buisness with them since 1995 and have never been disappionted.

They have a great product and offer a wide varity of materials to cover a broad spectrum of ministry needs.

Their customer service and technical support teams have always handled any situation that has arisen to my "complete" satisfaction.

Thanks Logos, you have a great team!

"I have purchased a number of items from the LOGOS store and have always been fairly treated and the items purchased are delivered promptly. Their customer service and technical support are far superior then similar companies. They provide great products at good prices and are extremely caring about their customers.

Enough good things can't be said about Logos. I have not ever had a bad experience in the years I have dealt with them."

"I have found Logos software to be too cumbersome to use, especially the continual problem with my resources locking without any way to unlock them. Customer service has become unresponsive, too. The product would be a good one if it didn't have such poor usability."
