Store is easy to navigate, easy to purchase from, and possess the best customer support I have ever worked with. Their website displays on right hand side whether they are open or closed, and what their hours are and contact information. I had difficulty making an order the other day. It was late at night so I didn't even send any email, I just assumed it was my web browser and figured I would fix it in the morning. With the business of the day I forgot, but was contact by Logos support team asking if I was still having an issue and if I needed any help. They are courteous, smart, and don't assume you have never used a computer before when they are helping you trouble shoot problems with either the site or the software. I can't recommend them enough.

Wow! I've had great service from Logos in the past, but downloading this last book was easier & faster. They even replied on Christmas Eve to a service question. I'm very impressed with their products & more impressed with their service. Logos rocks!

I have always received items I order in a reasonable time after my order was placed. I consider this remarkable since I live overseas and can only receive delivery via the USPS. I appreciate Logos posting my mail as requested and thereby ensuring that I receive my product as expected. I have never had any problem with this aspect of the fine service offered by Logos. "I wasn't sure about the benefits of having Logos. It took me a while to put down the money for the scholar's edition. The website didn't seem that glamorous (but was very easy to use). I think Logos has undersold its product on the site. I found it a little hard to distinguish good quality scholarly resources from the mountain of lower quality resources. That's all. Thanks Logos

I consider buying LOGOS Bible software the best software investment I have made. The time the search engine saves, plus the immediate accessing and reading of the text, when you place your cursor over the references makes sermon and Bible study preparation a joy. My only regret is that I did not have this earlier in my ministry. I consider this program to be so valuable and such a time-saver, that it should be given as a gift from the church to each pastoral ministry student while still at Seminary, so that each graduate is fully up to speed with it and its benefits not only for when they enter their first parish, but also for class assignments. The icing on the cake is the annual Christmas books special, which should always be taken up.
When moving to take up a new parish, having most of your library on your computer instead of on book shelves, relieves so much of the packing and unpacking related issues.
If you install LOGOS on your laptop and take it with you on your holidays or times you are out of your parish, such as at conferences, you can keep up - not only with your devotional readings / life - but also you sermon preparation. This is a huge benefit that LOGOS provides.
When you buy LOGOS through The Bible Society of Australia, it then provides excellent and most capable technical support via e-mail or phone, for which I am most thankful, as I have quite basic computer skills.
I encourage anyone who is thinking of buying LOGOS to go to their web site and seriously consider taking advantage of their current special offers. Look at the version comparison chart and go for Gold, or next best, Silver.
This will be the best investment you have ever made.
Pastor Mal.

Logos Bible Software is certainly the leader in the field. They have an extraordinary selection of electronic books available, and the collection is continually growing. The software is high quality and works well. It unfortunately is only supported on Windows, an OS with serious reliability and security problems.
The original language tools are excellent, but expensive.
I personally find it irritating that I can always purchase the hard copy of any particular book, brand new if available or used if not, for less than the Logos price. (I have not found one yet where this was not the case. An Example: Lewis Sperry Chafer's Systematic Theology for $50 from CBD [$40 for members], $175 from Logos) Since many users of Logos are pastors, this is particularly unfortunate.
A compounding factor is that when doing a search, the Logos software doesn't provide a page number for a book. (Journals yes, books no.) This isn't too useful for foot notes, so it becomes necessary to find a hard copy of any electronic book quoted or referenced in any paper. The necessity of finding a hard copy of any electronic book minimizes the usefulness of electronic books. This, of course, is only a problem for those in academia--who happen to be some of the major users of Logos.
Overall it is a great tool, with some serious limitations. This review was modified by its author, toddv, on

Logos has always provided excellent service and support for me. I have ordered hundreds of dollars of materials from them over the last five years. Their website is easy to use and has never given me problems when purchasing either downloads or shipped materials. The number and diversity of the biblical and theological resources they make available is amazing. I highly recommend Logos materials and have confidence in their service.

I have been using the Logos Bible Software for almost 5 years now and I absolutely love it. I am a minister and I use Logos when studying and preparing every sermon or lesson. By using Logos, I am able to really dig deep into the word and come away with a much better understanding of scripture than I previously had. I would not use any other Bible study software. Any time I've had a question about the software, the people at Logos have always been extremely helpful. Any time I've ordered additional books from Logos, I've been able to place my orders easily and either receive the discs in a timely manner or been able to download the books without any problems whatsoever. I would definatly recommend Logos Bible Software to anyone who is serious about studying and getting a better understanding of the Holy Bible.
