typical web retailer service. on the occasions i've called for pre-sales support i've usually gotten good answers depending on who received me.  
 
on the downside- one of the items in my order was a morex power board. this is #4 i've had to replace out of about 10 ordered. the ones that failed within warranty were replaced with minimal hassle by logicsupply, but i feel emminant danger that each of my cases power boards are bound to fail.  
 
while this is specifically a morex issue- logicsupply needs to take some stature on the brands they sell.

This review is pertaining to the following product:  
 
ODD to 2.5" Notebook HDD Adapter with Hot-Swappable Tray - This adapter converts an optical drive bay to hold one hot-swappable 2.5" SATA HDD.  
 
In theory, this product sounds like a great find. In reality, this product is not worth the $39 price tag.  
 
After opening the product, the handle to remove the tray broke off as the handle and the attachment point to the tray is made of cheap plastic. Also, the spring on the handle flew off as soon as I released the handle.  
 
Because of the problems I encountered above, the only way to remove the SATA drive is to remove the backplane so I can push the drive out.  
 
I was able to "jury-rig" the broken plastic piece by using a paper clip to support and brace the handle to the removable drive tray. It was a tight fit, but I made it work.  
 
2 cent piece to fix a $40 product.  
 
Customer service was very helpful in sending a replacement to me. Overall, I'm very pleased with this company. This is the only product I was not happy with.  
 
I am very happy purchasing mini-itx cases and accessories from this company, as the orders are processed quickly and products are shipped in a timely manner.

Good prices on some hard-to-find items, great technical info and compatibility charts, first-hand experiences with the parts, speedy shipping and they quickly and easily dealt with my somewhat unusual non-US credit card/US shipping address combination. Recommended to anyone.

I have used Logic Supply before and have found them to be the best and most reliable company when it comes to computer supplies parts and service.

This order was placed on line and I later was contacted by a sales person advising that some of the items ordered were no longer available and he offered a subitute item quickly to keep my order current rather than waiting days and days to hear back on my order that was placed on line. This was great customer service.

Easy to deal with and shipped promptly. Good pricing and links to reference materials. Overall, very satisfied.

UPDATE - 6/10/09 - Logic Supply has been diligent in following up on my problems and have provided me with a new (working) power supply at no cost. They didn't just provide it but followed up to make sure it worked. WOW. Great customer service and a company that I would not hesitate to recommend.  
 
Product (power supply) doesn't work. Didn't come with a cable shown on the product page of the Logic Supply website. No documentation in the box or on the manufacture website. Cables come in ZipLock baggies. My first order from Logic Supply leaves a very bad impression.

Excellent job. I placed my order at 4:00PM and received the shipping confirmation email at 5:08PM in the same day. Awesome job, many thanks to logicsupply. I had very bad shopping experience with provantage, then I switched to logicsupply. At this time, I'm very glad that I made the right decision.

OK, another superb purchase and Shipment from Logic Supply! I have checked other retailers and even wholesalers and none compare to the service & reliability of Logic supply! Ironically many even compare themselves to others, but a few sale items don't make it better nor worth the troubles when all I need to do is shop at a trusted seller! Everything arrived well packed and double checked by Logic, sorry for the lapse in adding this review, tried to fill it out previously but Network problems & a few here as well! All is fine though & I am extremely happy with my purchases at Logic Supply! If you are reading this, give Logic a try, I'm sure you will find what you need and if you can't, give them a quick call! My 5 Micro-ITX machines all have Power Supplies, DOM's and other parts all from Logic supply. Why buy elsewhere if price & service are this good?! Not to mention the site and it's massive amount of helpful articles, How To's as well as online Spec Sheets! A great Site, helpful people & reasonably priced parts, and also some great write up's on Linux posted there (!!) in Company Web-Blog, that's all a person could ever ask for at an online Store! In my search for odd items for my HTPC setup, I stumbled across this site: namely for a slim optical drive to 44-pin IDE adapter (http://www.logicsupply.com/products/40_44ata3x40) and a 40-pin to 44-pin cbale (http://www.logicsupply.com/products/slimcdide44).  
 
Ordering was easy and straightforward, shipping costs were less than other similar merchants for similar sized items. They only offered UPS for carrier options, but that is only an issue if you are looking to ship to APO/FPO boxes.  
 
My order arrived on schedule (3-day ground) but regrettably both items were incorrect. I contacted their support department and was pleased to have the phone answered by a human almost immediately. The rep was able to find the correct items for my order and ship them out that same day at NO COST! He said that since it was their mistake they would not re-bill me, and that returning the original items was not necessary.  
 
Kudos to Logic Supply! If I need anything from them in the future I will not hesitate to order again.
