Excellent response and price from Listen Up - never had a problem ordering from them. The NHT Pro PVC volume control in both Pro and PC versions is very handy and unobtrusive passive volume control especially at the clearance price of $59 with free shipping and no sales tax. Wish they made one with TRS jacks vs XLRs - if you're looking for an excellent desktop XLR balanced passive volume control check out the tc electronic Level Pilot.

The high-end Denon universal player was available from them at the close-out price, while still other companies had the same item available for a few thousand more. It was listed as backordered on their site, but I took a chance and placed an order anyway. I'm glad I did. I had a direct communication from one sales consultants letting me know they will have the item in a couple days and to expect shipment soon. I was very pleased by this. The shipping cost was included and the item shipped UPS UPS ground. It shipped in the original box and didn't have any dents or dings on the box. Very happy with my first purchase here. The Denon high-end universal disc player shipped the day after I ordered it and it arrived within the week. A problem is that it was shipped only in the factory box; I expected this factory box to *itself* be in "ListenUp" box, with bubble-wrap, etc. since UPS, USPS, et al are not exactly "white-glove" delivery people. The unit arrived in fine condition, and, almost two weeks later, it works beautifully, but I consider this a luck of the draw. I will purchase from ListenUp again *only* when they 'double-box' items, as I'm not willing to roll the dice again...

When I lived in Denver, many years ago, I bought all my stereo stuff at ListenUp. Why? Great staff who really enjoyed music and knew what they were talking about. I hate shopping, but this place was always a big exception. It was and presumably still is a nice place to visit.  
 
So when I found ListenUp on the interwebs, I was rather pleased. I had had a couple bad experiences previously with electronic purchases... and if it's not a bag of tube socks we're talking about, it resonates for a long time.  
 
Sure enough, while I didn't get to go listen and look at things, the service was prompt and flawless. Oh, and everything works right, which is a nice bonus! ;^)  
 
So I'm quite happy to have found LU on the intertoobz. It's like one less thing to worry about... cheers.

This site secure double amount of the purchase price from credit card. If you have less, the purchase don't go through, but the operator will never tell you what's wrong. They will make excuses and tell you to use different credit card.

Great service on my purchase of the NHT Classic 3 speakers! The order was placed on Saturday, shipped on Monday and arrived on Wednesday. I lived in Denver back in the late 70's and even purchased an APT Holman Preamp from Listen Up. Great to see that they are still in business.

Perfect and delivered even quicker than I had hoped.

Not only did we receive a wonderful product at an excellent price, we received it in a very short time, in perfect condition, as promised. I will definitely order from ListenUp again, and will recommend them to my friends.

I love buying my home audio equiptment from listenup.com. Bruce is really nice and ready to answer all my questions (either on the phone or email). The only "problem" with listenup.com is that I keep spending my money there!
