Don't waste your money dealing with these people. No one ever answers their phone and the only reply you get from customer support is just wait patiently and they will get back to you. THEY NEVER CONTACT YOU TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM. Flush your money down the toilet, you will get more satisfaction.

Oh man, I can't even begin to describe my frustration with this "company"!  
 
First of all, don't ever plan on calling them because the number they give on their website goes to NO ONE! No one will answer, no matter what day or time you call. Their online representatives are a total joke. It's only to give the illusion that someone actually cares about your problem...and unless you don't know how to navigate around the site, they are totally useless. I asked a rep named "Jason" why no one answers their phone. He said, "It's nite in China." That's great and all, but your website states that it goes by EST, not China time. And when I did call at a time that was 10am in China, guess what, STILL no answer! A legitimate company would have customer service available by phone to be able to address problems directly. This is a HUGE RED FLAG in my book.  
 
The dress I ordered is very nice, except that it's not the measurements they stated on their website! The size chart on my invoice is COMPLETELY different than the size chart on their website. This is their problem, not mine! I ordered a size according to the chart they have up on their website and they send me something different in my invoice. Why are there two size charts floating around there? A customer orders one thing and you send them something else...yet somehow it's my fault for not measuring correctly? My measurements were correct according to the size chart on your website, not the size chart in my invoice. There is a difference of 2", 5", and 2" inches!  
 
They pretty much told me that there is nothing that they can do about it...that I need to order a "custom size" dress. From the other reviews, it doesn't sound like they get that right either!

I bought a dress in this website, and after the payment was done, I started reading the bad reviews of people disappointed with their products, so I've thought that I had made a bad purchase... BUT, the things is that the dress that I bought is gorgeous, very well finished, the size is correct and I was surprised because it arrived a week earlier.  
 
I think that it's worthy to buy dresses in this website, and for sure, I will buy more.  
 
I'm writting this because all the people who has complaints about the website made me feel bad and silly for having done that purchase... so I hope that this positive review can help other people to take their decisions.  
 
I'm sorry for the people who had bad experience, but I have to say that I'm lucky, and that my dress y gorgeous... incredibly gorgeous for that price.

Hola, escribo este review en español también para decir que compré un vestido en light in the box y justo cuando lo pagué, comencé a leer malas críticas a cerca de la calidad y la seriedad de los envíos. Me sentí idiota porque supuse que yo también tendría mala suerte, pero decidí seguir adelante con la compra.  
 
El vestido me ha llegado una semana antes de lo previsto y es maravilloso. Lo quería para una boda y está increíblemente bien acabado, tiene 3 forros de tela distintos y me queda como un guante. Así que os animo a que compréis en esta tienda... ya que podéis tener la misma suerte que yo y tener en vuestras manos un vestido divino, por un precio más que razonable.  
 
Un saludo, y espero que esto sirva para despejar las dudas y para que al menos haya una crítica positiva.

Buyer, beware! Lightinthebox is Chinese SCAM! The items are fake, therefore poor quality! You will not be able to return  
 
them and get a refund!  
Scam, Scam, Scam!  
Do not order!  
I ordered a dress through 'lightinthebox.com'. I got suspicious when I found out that the item would be shipped from China.  
 
When I finally received the dress after a 1 month wait, the dress turned out to be a very poor attempt to copy the dress on  
 
the picture, so it only vaguely resembled the dress I was hoping to get. There were multiple quality issues, like:  
- threads sticking out everywhere;  
- streaks and rugged edges on fabric;  
- stains on fabric;  
- a piece from back lock came off when I tried a dress on;  
Also, though I provided the right measurements, the dress didn't fit me at all.  
Needless to say I requested that the item will be returned and that I should get refunded. After a week of discussion with  
 
their representative, they denied my request, even though it complied fully with their return policy.  
I suggest that you take this information into consideration!!!

I was a little skeptical at first after reading some reviews. BUT i placed my order for some golf clubs with Lightinthebox.com anyways. My order came to my house via DHL in about 2 weeks and the golf clubs are perfect. I just recieved them and they are the same as if i had paid full price from a local store. I had no problems or issues with this company. I will report back in a few weeks if i have any quality issues with the clubs, but for now they appear to be great and I got them as promised.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!  
 
I ordered a phone from them (stupidly), and when it arrived the screen was cracked, and the phone wouldnt do anything. I have contacted their customer service almost EVERYDAY since March 5, and still have not come to a resolution. You should stay away, and do NOT endanger your money. I recommend you pay the extra 50 bucks and order somewhere else

BUYER BEWARE!!! Do not buy from this company. I purchase a dress for my daughter 1st Communion (girls size 8). I received it 3/4/09 and the dress is a size 14. They won't answer their phones, email replies take a 2 day turn around and after proving they sent the wrong dress all they said was to return the dress and they will send out another one. They would not send a prepaid postage for this item even though I had proved wihout a doubt it was the wrong dress. They would not talk to me on their online chat. They kept hanging up and when they realized it was me again they refused to answer the online chat. I lodged a complaint with Paypal so now their is a ticket against them. I also notified the BBB. What good is all this if Paypal continues to be a part of their system. I hope they yank their Paypal Certification from them. I am out $87.00 and refuse to add to that total by paying for more shipping. I wish I had seen these review before making this purchase. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS MERCHANT.

i ordered a phone almost a month ago and they sent me an email saying the phone i wanted was out of stock. well on the site it still doesn't say that the item is out of stock. i sent them an email telling them another item to send instead, but i never got a reply back. i have sent more emails, all with no response. my order status says processing, but it shouldn't take a month to process an order, ever. do not order anything from this site, don't let the fact that you can pay with pay pal fool you. they are very unprofessional and have terrible customer service, as in none. DO NOT BUY.

Please stay away from this company. I purchased a phone from them in October last year, it arrived and we found the charger damaged.I have, after numerous emails and phone calls been sent(twice now) a replacement travel charger,not phone charger as requested! I have persisted as you cannot purchased them in my country! I give up! The only way to communicate now is through live chat as my emails go constantly unanswered. Live chat are lovely of course forever promising that someone will get back to me....Promise!!Well, over it now and and on a mission to let the whole world know what to expect when dealing with Light in the box.............what a shame!!

I'm in agreement with the others who say "stay away from this vendor." Luckily, I only lost 20 bucks, unlike some others here.  
 
Ordered product November 14, which supposedly shipped the next week. The tracking number that they provided wasn't valid, and there's no way to find out if they actually shipped. Needless to say, I haven't received the product that I purchased.  
 
No way to contact them, not responsive other than telling you "don't worry about it". When I wrote to them asking for an immediate refund or reship, they said that they would resend but never gave any idea when.  
 
Now, over three months out, they will not respond to emails.  
 
Bunch of crooks.

I pushed a complaint to PayPal, and mentioned the complaint in a comment on the Light In The House help ticket.  
 
"A complaint has been filed against Light In The Box with PayPal.  
 
In light of all the complaints online against your company, I hope that PayPal yanks their authorization to use their name and services on your website."  
 
 
What do you know... the order has shipped again. If you're waiting for your shipment, this might work for you too. (Now I just have to receive the products.)

We purchased a wii entertainment package with accessories and 60 wii games and a DS lite with 30 games. We ordered early in time for Christmas, delivery and customer care appeared excellent until we found that the DS games were all in Japanese after advertising THEY WERE in English, also 27 of the 60 wii games did not work. On complaining they again seemed co-operative but never did anything. We sent in excess of 30 e-mails between October and Christmas and were passed from person to person,no help. Finally they sent a form to send the discs back and then new ones will be sent, this cost over ten pounds to send and was sent recorded delivery. They claim to have never received them, tracking only went as far as china, they asked for proof of postage and tracking number both have been sent three or four times STILL NO RESPONSE AND NO GAMES WE ARE FURIOUS.!!!!! FRAUDSTERS!!!!!

I wish I had found these reviews before I purchased from this company!  
I ordered 3 bridesmaids dresses, all of which were custom made. They arrived but were WAY too small!  
When I tried to complain and asked to send them back for a refund they told me 'if I really wanted a refund' i would have to send the dresses back and they would charge me 25% per dress???  
Why when they are at fault??!!  
 
No I do not even trust them to do this. I have lose £162.00, my wedding is in 3 weeks and my bridesmaids have no dresses!  
 
Please do not use lightinthebox, they cannot understand you as they are based in China and their english is poor. I have had weeks of frustrating emails to and fro and got no-where.  
 
Funny as I read good reviews before I used them?  
 
STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Light in Box - what a scam. 27 january today and no goods for item ordered 8 December. Strung me along until too late to lodge a complaint with Paypal. Won't resond to my emails, surprise, suprise. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE FRAUDSTERS  
 
UPDATE When Paypal refused to process my claim I got on to my credit card company who very promptly refunded my cash. Paypal then sprung into action and once the funds were withdrawn from Light in the Box the emails started to flood in. I have now recieved the goods.
