"I tried to order a New Iomega Zip Drive on the letterfolders.com website through paypal. The order wouldn’t go through. Called letterfolders and was told that they no longer do business with paypal. The paypal option is still up but will be taken down. I then inquired if the Drive was new and was assured that it was. I was then given the option of using a credit card over the phone or I could place the order through their website. I asked if the shipping was free as the website advertised and was told that I would have to pay shipping charges. I went ahead and ordered the drive, after a week I had not received the drive although my credit card had been charged. I called and was told the package would be sent and I would be e-mailed a tracking number. 15 days after I placed the order I received it on a Friday with no communication of a tracking number. The package I received contained a used drive and usb cable. The plain cardboard box contained none of the accessories, manuals, warranty documentation that was listed on the website. The drive powered up alright on my computer but would not eject the disk. I tried calling Friday late afternoon no one was answering their phones. I then e-mailed my dilemma to their customer service e-mail address. MAILER DAEMON returned my e-mail after 3 hours stating that the Account is temporarily unavailable, to try again later. Made 2 more attempts over the weekend with same results. So much for OPEN 24/7. Monday I called, explained my problem and asked for an RMA number and pick-up of the package per their return policy of paying return postage if the wrong item is shipped. I was assured that I would be e-mailed an RMA number and would be receiving an e-mail from UPS with the label and pickup arrangements. 3 days go by, I call again and was assured all is well, and is almost approved. 4 days later I get an e-mail with the RMA number. I call again as I haven’t heard from UPS, and I’m informed that I am responsible for the return postage and may or may not be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Now I do the Google search of the company I should have done prior to ordering and find all of the complaints that have been filed against Letterfolders for deceptive sales practices, merchandise switching, mail returns that have been lost, additional charges being made up. I shall be contacting the BBB and adding my complaint to the many that have been filed. How this company stays in business is beyond me, the absolute worst business transaction I have encountered on the internet. 20/20 hindsite, I’ve learned a lesson."
"I say ditto to all the negative experiences. They sent a defective shredder and replaced it with another defective shredder after I returned the first. They refused to refund my shipping costs as promised, and lied to BBB, claiming I returned a working shredder for no reason."

I spoke and emailed Chris@acedepot.com and he issued me an RMA to return defective equipment on 2/9/10. I returned the equipment and emailed the RMA and tracking information to info@letterfolders.com. Since then, I have not received any refund for the equipment or a replacement. Chris called me in August after I contacted the company about a refund and told me that a credit was issued back to the credit card. There has not been a credit issued against the card. I have since emailed Chris requesting specific refund information to track the credit. "
"I have also reported to BBB of New Jersey, the California Attorney General, and also to http://shopping.yahoo.com/merchantrating/?mid=13346&quickrating=1&.scrumb=5ThBPoHosJW
The company has several names and is also called Letterfolders.com (AKA - Ace Depot, Time Clock Zone, American Refurbished). I consider them scam artists, before I purchased I called to ask and make sure they had this model in stock to which they said they did. I received a different model cash register and I called the company to complain and they said it was the same thing just a different model number. Since I needed the exact model version to be compatible with my system, I requested for the item that I ordered. Ace Depot said they didn't have the item so I requested for a full refund since it was there mistake of shipping a different item than what I ordered. I spoke with the owner Chris Corday and he sent an email with the RMA and agreed to a full refund with no restocking fee since it was there mistake. I sent back the return within a few days of receiving the item since it was not what I ordered. A week later I called Ace Depot and the representative confirmed they received the return and said the refund would be issued within a week. A week passed by and I called again and it was the middle of August, the same representative lady said that there merchant cycle was near the beginning and end of each month so I would be refunded near the end of August. About two weeks past by and it was the first week of September. I called again and Chris said I should have received the refund and he refunded me back in July. I asked for him to send a copy of the refund receipt so I would contact my credit card company to investigate why I didn't receive credit, he said he would email me. 2 weeks past by and I was busy and forgot and I never received the email so I called Ace Depot again and for the past 2 weeks it has been a nightmare. I have done business for over 10 years and as a customer and business owner, I would never treat my customers like this. Emails were never responded to (I have proof of several emails I sent). Phone call messages left were never answered. I called the customer service over 15 times the past 2 weeks (I have phone records) and the rep says she handles support but Chris the owner handles billing, and she would always give the runaround saying that Chris is at a meeting and that I would have to call back. I would highly recommend that you investigate this matter and there shady tactics, I believe they fraud consumers by not giving them a refund, keeping the return, and also selling refurbished items when they say the item is new. Many others have complained about being scammed by this company at http://shopping.yahoo.com/merchantrating/?mid=13346# and http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Letterfolders
After several and numerous unpleasant attempts to get the refund over the phone (caused me 2 days of unnecessary high blood pressure), Chris finally emailed me this week saying my credit has been issued in the amount of $240. After spending another hour trying to reach Chris today to ask when the refund was issued and why the email didn't say I received the full amount, the attempt was unsuccessful and the workers were giving me the workaround. If you check the 2 big review sites I provided, someone also received the email saying they got credited but they never did.
In my entire life as a customer, I have never had to spend over 15-20 calls to kindly ask for a refund, and to get ignored and played. This was no misunderstanding, since I never received the refund from the company I clearly requested for the company to provide proof of the refund and they have never provided it to me. Over a few times I had asked to send the proof of refund to another email address or to my fax number to which they did not abide, finally I receive an email that a credit has been issued but I am sick of there games and do not want to contact them again as this issue will go on and on. I am sure they keep a lot of money this way since many consumers are busy to check if there refund was processed, but I have been persistent. I don't want to be a victim of a con and as a consumer I not only didn't get the product I purchased, I didn't even get my money back and I don't want this company which has many company names to take advantage of other consumers. It was the worst purchasing experience ever, many other customers said the same thing on the 2 review sites. If something so easy that should have been taken care of isn't and is ignored, something is going on, they are illegally holding on to my money. "

"Buyers Be Ware. Letterfolders.com (AKA - Ace Depo, Time Clock Zone, American Refurbished) Sent me a reconditioned shredder when I purchased a new unit. They denied it was reconditioned. I called Fellows and they confirmed it was a reconditioned unit by the serial number. Letterfolders agreed to a return when I told them the serial number and a call to Fellows confirmed it was a reconditioned unit. They provided a RMA # and instructions for the return. They received the return but refused to refund my money. After many phone calls to Letterfolders--and promises from them that I would receive a refund--I turned the disputed amount over to my credit card company. It seems that this option is the only way to get Letterfolders (AKA - Ace Depo, Time Clock Zone, American Refurbished) to return funds. Be sure to keep all documentation -- order #s RMA#s, FedEx tracking #s to prove returns.

"Horribe company. Order an ink cart. that wasn't even the item that was on the order page. Got the ink and it was some reused generic cart. It was supposed to be a genuine Lexmark cart. Also got charge $6 for shipping eve though the checkout screen said free. Took forever to get an RMA. Sent the junk back and never got a refund. The last email I sent said "You account has be credited". It never was. Avoid! Pay the extra $5 and go with a legit company."
"This place was a terrible experience for me. I ordered a Samsung ER-350 cash register from them. I checked out my purchase and the total was $289. No tax and shipping was free. All this was clearly shown on my invoice for the purchase. However, when I looked at my credit card statement, I was charged $326. I called in to notify them of the difference only to be told that it was for taxes. I explained that my invoice showed $0 for taxes. He gave me a really bad excuse that it was calculated later due to the new tax rate that was applied. I calculated it myself and I don't believe there is any city in the U.S. with a 12.8% tax rate. I called in the next day to tell them this so they finally relented and said they will issue me a credit. To make a long story short, I called in several more times, but I never got the credit. They even emailed me a 'credit issued' confirmation, but that was a lie too. I believe they only have a couple people working, but they tried to tell me that I had to contact accounting dept at one point too. In the end, they never issued me the credit. Liars. That's what they are. "
"HORRIBLE! I purchased a calculator from them when arrived defective. I called to set up a return and to get a replacemment. They tried to deny they got my return, but got a proof of delivery from Fedex. I was told for weeks that a replacement was coming. After numerous calls, I got a ups tracking number, but it was never picked up. I sent many emails and left numerous messages and no replies. After two weeks of calling they tell me that they dont have anymore calculators in stock. Something tells me I'll never get my refun.. SCAMMERS!"
"They owe me $220 and won't send it to me. I returned a defective cash register to them and they admit that they owe me the money for it + money for an overcharge + money for shipping. Yet they ignore me and will not send me my money. In short, they are robbers."
"A horrible company with no records. Went in there in person, paid cash. Did not get a receipt. Sent back a piece of garbage - equipment sold for 120+ dollars. Called for over two months for the refund. Today owner said it was only $100.00. Promised to issue a refund check for the fifth time. Order from somewhere else. You will be cheated and robbed by this outfit. Shoud be put out of business for good."
"Horrible! I ordered NEXT DAY AIR, it shipped Ground. I cannot get a return email, CS won't respond..I can't get a tracking number, I don't have my order. I WILL NEVER order from this company again. This has to be one of the worst all time. I've bought for years online, and this is the worst experience."
"AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL !!! This has been the worst experience I have ever had purchasing on Ebay, or online in general for that matter. Item (a cash register) shipped in standard time (5 days) but arrived damaged. I wrote them an e-mail immediately and informed them of the situation. It took them 6 days to e-mail me back - and they told me NOT to ship the item back to them. I called John, the owner, and Jill, the shipping manager multiple times, and never had any phone calls returned. I got aggravating e-mails simply saying: "What is your order number" althought the order number was plainly referenced in the subject of the e-mail. I even called during the day, during their "regular business hours" and only got voicemails. Anyway, I filed a dispute with Paypal - knowing full well that this was the only way to get my money back. I won the claim, and shipped them the register back at my own expense. The owner is a liar, plain and simple. He stated several times that he had filed a claim with the shipper, and that UPS had dropped the ball. Totally inept company, stay away at all costs !!"
"Just ordered from this store and I how wished I read reviews first. Ordering from them is a breeze but after receiving the order, they don't seem to care anymore. I emailed them about my missing items and they told me that I am just blaming them. Oh yeah, when you do email them, expect a week for them to response. I told them I was not satisfied by their service and they responded back telling me that my complaints will not matter. Stay away from this online store. Search for reviews online about them and you will see how many complaints this store is getting."
"My experience summary is the following: My company was under a very tight deadline for a massive mailing so I was going to purchase a letter folder
1. I called and was told by the seller that the item was in stock in their warehouse and would be shipped in 24 hours. Based solely on this information, I purchased the item.
2. I was lied to about the shipping of the item and given a false tracking number the following week. The tracking number never updated or indicated any packaged was shipped! I called UPS and confirmed that there was never a package shipped with the number he gave!
3. Eventually seller admitted item was NOT in stock and never had been shipped.
4. Was told the manufacturer would not ship them because of a defective part.
5. After asking very politely to cancel the order, seller refused!(even after all the lies and false information given!) He actually had the arrogance to say I had to buy different items from him instead of canceling my order!
I have sent more emails than I care to admit trying to work with the seller and several phone calls. The people at this company are very rude, greedy and refuse to refund your money even if they don't ship the item!
