The Canon EF-S 18mm-200mm len I rented came well protected. I found it well broken in, and was a little irritated by the lens opening to it's full zoom length whenever it was pointed down. I have had zoom lens before that did not do this. On the whole the rental was a good experience.

Since September 2009, I think I've ordered lenses about 4 times. Perfect service. The lenses arrive BEFORE I need them; easy to pack up and return; excellent customer service if I have a question about how a lens functions or regarding my order. And LR.com has a wide variety of lenses -- and excellent lenses. This is a no hassle company, and it feels as if there motto is that the customer is always right (or maybe I just haven't been wrong yet!) Anyway, this is the lens rental company I use and recommend. Period.

I've rented from LensRentals.com about 4 times now over a period of a year and my experience has always been excellent. The lenses arrive on time and the process is very simple. Plus they have the largest selection of lenses of any rental house I know of. They also rent Zeiss and Voigtlander lenses if you want to test these brands as well.

Very good experience with this company. Lenses were in very good condition and function was great. A little dust on one of the lenses and they were sent without filters for protection (don't know if this is commonplace). As with other rental companies, arrival and return was simple and without complications. I will be using them again!

Have rented many times from this company and will continue to rent from them as a professional photographer. They are on top of their business and the owner will respond to your emails personally. I had a problem once with an off-camera flash cord that was shorting out and once I emailed them about it, they immediately hooked me up with a new cord, no questions asked. Their service and customer interface seem to get better every time I use them!

Whoever dinged these guys the 0.06 can't be made happy, they're true 5-star service - period. Need to extend part of a rental - no problem. Need them to rush something else out to you - no problem. Need help sorting out issues with your own equipment not working with their rental gear - no problem. They won't come take your pictures for you, but anything else is ... no problem.

Excellent customer service. Extremely fast response and shipping. Ordered the lenses from Canada and they were stuck at the border for customs and Lens Rentals worked on the problem continuously till I got my lenses on time. Would definitely rent again.
