I just purchased the Canon 50D and was headed to Costa Rica for 14 days. This was my first time using such a big lens (28-300 f/3.5-5.6) and my first trip out of the country. The shipping was quick, the packing was great and safe, and the lens was great. I took some great surfing pics and it really inspired me to continue with this company and the Canon product. Thanks for making the lenses available. My only small regret is that I didn’t rent a macro lens. I will have to test that out soon. Thanks again.

I am a first-time customer of Lens Rental and wanted a telephoto lens for my African Safari. I rented a Canon 100-400mmIS which arrived in perfect condition. Shipping was prompt,and it was well packed. Rental period was very lenient - extra days both ends. The lens was recommended by Roger and was the envy of my travel mates. We aren't professional photographers, but we realize good lenses are an important part in capturing memorable moments. I rented a lens from LensRentals.com for a trip to Hawaii, and I couldn't be more satisfied. They shipped the lens early, so I would have it when they promised. The lens was flawless, with no indication of any wear or defect whatsoever. When we returned home, I simply put the lens back in the box in which it was sent, affixed the outbound FedEx label, and dropped it off at FedEx. The entire process was painless and easy. I will be using LensRentals for every vacation or special occasion to ensure I have the perfect lens for the situation.

Lensrentals pretty much sets the standard for service and support. The gear I rented wasn't perfect but their response was outstanding. (The guy who answered the support line turned out to be the owner. It was a good sign.)

Perfect service, all the way. The rental lens was an EF500mm f/4 IS. The lens was in "as new conditon," securely packed including an aftermarket protective case, and expeditiously shipped with a more than generous time allowance. Five star, all the way.

What can I say about these guys except that they do exactly what they claim to do and with every bit of the customer service that they claim to offer. Period, end of story. They work actively to ensure that you are aware of the status of your order at every step; they remind you ahead of time when you need to return your order; they answer any question (even stupid ones) quickly and without judgment; most of all, they offer quality products for rent and are not satisfied unless you are.  
 
I would HIGHLY recommend this vendor for any photographer who needs equipment for rent, and I know I'm hardly the only photographer who would make this recommendation. I know this because they were recommended to me by the pros. I will definitely be a returning customer the next time I need to rent a piece of equipment that is unfortunately outside my purchasing budget.

I was able to change my delivery mid-stream to allow pick-up at a FedEx facility since I wasn't going to be home on delivery day. Thank you Erin! My lens came in great shape and I captured some amazing pictures. I'm not independently wealthy so plunking down $1,500 to purchase an awesome camera lens is not an option...but spending $110 for a weeks worth of fun is! I'm already figuring out my next rental. This was my first time renting and at the recommendation of a friend, I went with LensRentals.com. Every part of the process was easy, and every question I had was answered by either the webpage or email. My lens arrived on the requested date and packaging was fantastic. I will definitely be giving them my business for future rentals.

This is amazingly good! They have a very slick system where you can reserve your lens for a date (and check availability). It comes extremely well packaged and includes a return shipping label. Just pack it up when done and drop at fedex or kinko's.
