"This is the third time I have used Lenses for Hire over a roughly 12 month period.
The first time was when they were still just starting out really and like many new companies were keen to provide the best possible service to create the right impression whilst building up their customer base.
The wonderful thing about this company is that over 12 months on they're clearly every bit as committed to customer care as they were on day one!
Their range of lenses over this time has increased hugely and continues to grow.
The lenses I ordered were in excellent condition, extremely well packed and included suitable good quality UV filters as well as copies of the instructions for those fitted with Canon's Image Stabilizer or Nikon's Vibration Reduction systems to ensure anyone unfamiliar with it's settings would be able to get the best from it as well as pre-printed stickers for the inevitable day when the rental period is over and the lens has to be sent back which I think are nice touches and not something all rental companies would bother to do!
So...would I recommend this company? Absolutely, they should take pride in providing a rental service by which (in my experience) few come close to."

Great communication with emails to confirm the order, when the lens was despatched and then to confirm it had been received back safely. Nice and friendly ones as well, written personally and not just computer generated.
The lens itself was in perfect condition and well packed with instructions for use and details of the hire.
Very good prices and their way of handling the deposit part suited me better than other hirers who charge the full value to a credit card and then return it after the hire.
I would not hesitate to recommend them and would use them again when I next need to hire a lens."
Excellent support via email and phone, very flexible shipping options (collection in person was best for me and went very smoothly) and outstanding prices. The packaging in the box was superb, the instructions were helpful and concise, and there was even a return address label included in the box for the return shipping!
I also like the variable hire period - you aren't stuck with a lens for a whole week if you only want it for a weekend ... and they are very fair in ensuring you have the lens for the full hire period, eg. hire it for 3 days and you will have the lens for *at least* 72 hours. Superb!
If you're in the UK and you want to hire a Canon lens (I'm sure they will branch out to other manufacturers in time), this is the ONLY place to come!"

"LensesForHire.co.uk are Probably the best hire company I have ever dealt with. The Service they provide is so Cost effective, as well as the most personal service I have ever Received. Every effort is made to ensure that you are dealt with in the best possible way, even down to the simple questions asked to make sure that you are renting for your needs and not the wrong thing.
I would recommend them to anyone, the levels of service are second to none, even the Larger Rental Companies!"

The web site is easy to use and very clear on exactly what you are hiring, for how long and how much. There are very clear instructions regarding the term 'hire period' to ensure there is no misunderstanding.
Once the order is placed I received very good communication regarding my hire period and the lens turned up on time.
The lens itself was in perfect condition and was a joy to use.
Returning the lens was just as straight forward as it was well packaged with clear instructions. It could not of been more straight forward. Again communication was excellent even though they were on holiday at the time!
Without doubt I will use again and would not hesitate in recommending this company to others. A simple and effective business that meets many requirements, whether that be Pro or Amateur. "

Initial contact was via email after browsing the website - the information and advice provided was extremely helpful based on the requirements I had out-lined.
The hire consisted of a couple of lenses and teleconverters which were excellent products, well packaged with relevant documentation etc. Local pick up of the items was arranged, which went soothly without any need for waiting around. Had posting of the items been required they came very well packed and labels were even provided.
Very reasonable hire rates which made using some very nice lenses possible without breaking the bank to purchase them!
I will certainly be using this service again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others."
