"I ordered a product on 12/23/09, received an email on 1/7/10 that is was returned by the Postal Service. I have tried numerous times over the past 3 days to get a response by phone and email. NO response, just answering machines that say they will respond promptly--yea right. I don't know what more I can do. Apparently they have ripped me off for $57.00. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I ever do get a response, which it seems very unlikely, I'll let you know."

"Beware: I ordered an AC adopter for my laptop from this company, I was sent the wrong item and called to return it, I received a RMA# and immediately sent it back, I waited over a month to get credit but it never happened, so I called and they claimed that they never got it, so I called my credit card company to dispute it, but I am having a hard time, because I sent it regular mail, and not certified, they exploited this fact, and took advantage of me, so to warn others I am posting this, its clear you can not trust this company, they will rob you if given the chance.

STAY AWAY"

"They sent me the wrong product. I ordered two extended life laptop batteries. They sent me the normal non extended life batteries. I emailed them twice requesting replacement with what I ordered and they completely ignored me. I never even received a response.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Their customer service is non existent."

"Ordered a RPTV lamp for my Hitachi. It was branded as a hitachi part, but instead was an off brand. Second problem was the site clamed a 90 day warrenty on the part. When the part failed, I contacted the company, but no responce. I tried to contact a second time, but still no responce. These people are huxsters. Avoid at all costs."

"I've experienced the same problem as some others here. I placed an order for a Samsung lamp and then received an email saying the order was processed and it also included a FedEx tracking number that indicated 2-day shipping. Four days later on the 19th I checked the FedEx site and nothing had ever even been shipped.

When I called the company and tried to hold for a real human I got dumped into some general voicemail box. I emailed customer service and got an automated response that said someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours. I then resorted to online chat with one of their customer service people. It took them an inordinately long time to locate my order and then I was told that it was on back order.

Personally, I view this as very shi**y customer service. Do these people have computers and an inventory system? Maybe they are actually reputable, but they behave like a fly-by-night outfit.

I canceled my order and am buying from a company that I've used before. I don't think the BS you deal with here is worth the small savings over companies with a solid reputation.

All the crap that these people have put me through means that I will be out of a usable television for a lot longer than if I had just ordered from someone else at the beginning."

"My order has not been received. My first email purchase from them stated the "order has shipped" I was giving a fed ex tracking # too. A day later, I get a strange "order is on backorder" email, even though the previous email said it was shipped! I have emailed numerous times, and even called. No response or phone answer. My order was for a replacement lamp for my projection TV, $125. I am seriously bummed that i trusted this company."

"Displeased! I feel that I was misled by Laptops for Less on my purchase of two printer ink cartridges. The photos on the website are CLEARLY of OEM HP printer cartridge boxes, complete with the two-digit HP identification numbers. (20 and 49 in my case) Only on much closer inspection did I notice they airbrushed the tiny "HP" logo off the image, apparently to prevent a lawsuit...

What came however are cheap imitation printer cartridges by some Chinese company which may or may not work. These were bought as a gift so I'm not sure what the performance will be after actually being installed in the printer.

Simply put, I feel the photos on the website were misleading. Be VERY careful of anything bought from this store."

"I'm presently waiting to see if they correct the battey they sent me that is made for iPod but that they've inaccurately badged for iRiver. The battery as shipped does not and will not work in the iRiver player. I will update my review when I see how responsive they are, but my first impression is very low.

Edit: Not surprised to have received no response from LfL. I chose this battery because it was marketed as specifically for iRiver. The pin surgery required to adapt iPod batteries as explained on iRiver sites seemed too delicate for me, a confirmed klutz. I got a friend to switch the pins, but would have chosen a much better battery if I'd known I'd have to go through with it no matter which battery I chose.

The battery I received does work now that the pins are switched, but I still feel cheated by the company's marketing. Would not buy from them again.

Edit 5/11/05: After two months, the battery I purchased from Laptops for Less is holding less than half its original charge. Apparently, not only was the battery badged incorrectly, it was well past its expiration date. Stay away, far, far away!! This is the most dishonest outfit I've ever had the poor judgment to get mixed up with."

"I ordered and PAID for a new bulb for our TV on 2/6/10. It is 2/19/10 and I still have NOT received it. I am not getting a reply to my message I left on their customer questions section website. If I do not see my product or a response very soon, BBB will be notified and so will bank!"
