"well, i bought i stick of samsung pc3200 256mb ram from them and the ram will not do as advertise. so i email them about the return policy and took them around 5 days to respond. in the response, they tell me to respond back w/ an invoice number so i did, and in 1 week they did not respond back. so i email them again w/ the invoice number and they respond back to me w/ a fedex tracking number. so i email them back telling them about the return policy and they have not yet reply.

edit(02/20/03): they have yet to respond back to my 8 emails w/ invoice number. so i reported them to the BBB and notify my credit card company about this fraud. "

"L-Buy screwed me too! When I first ordered the RAM I got a reply saying ill recieve an email in a 3 days after the order processes with tracking number. I just Paid for 3 day FEDEX, Now im a liitle ticked. There Order status page doesnt even work. 5 days later I call and they say it was sent that day. The 8th day it shows up at the door. In Pricewatch they had the Samsung DDR 3200 listed as the newest release( faster TinyBGA chips). Instead they sent me some old PC2700 CAS 2.5 Samsung that runs PC3200@ CAS3 in TSOPII chips. Now they want %25 restocking fees, SCREW L-BUY. I'LL TAKE IT TO MASTERCARD YOU PRICKS AND CHARGEBACK.

"i recently needed a cable modem, and i found that l-buy was the reseller with the cheapest price for the motorola surfboard 4200. at 69.99, it was a steal. i ordered it, and checked my inbox. i think l-buy needs to change their message header on thier automated responses, as the header ("Order Confimation") couldve easily passed as spam. perhaps if they included that the email was from l-buy.com, it would be less suspicious. this order took place on friday night. i was once again emailed on monday, but this time with a better header that didnt pass on as spam. it gave me my tracking number for fedex, but i checked fedexs site and it wasnt posted yet. i wasnt sure what to think, so i just waited until night. sure enough, it was posted later. the shipping was cheap, which appealed to me. it was sent via express saver, which only cost 1.95. thats not too bad considering the size of this cable modem box. anyways, it came here today (thursday). overall, ive had a positive experience, but i think these minor bugs need to be worked out first."

That same day I ordered it, I wrote an email saying to cancel the order due to a change of plans on my part. I didnt hear anything back for 3 days, then all at once, I get a confirmation that it has been shipped!!! All im saying is...are the people that do the email over there extremely slow, blind, or just ignorant???"
