"I made my first contact with Kevin at KC Computers on October 17, 2006 very late in the evening. As became the norm, I received a fast reply from him way after business hours. We communicated many times a day for about 10 days, literally 50 to 100 emails at all hours of the day and weekends. Kevin was always extremely professional and courteous and made me feel more comfortable about both my choices as well as my decision to buy from him than I ever expected, or could have thought possible.
I went to KC-Computers.com afer finding out about it here @ resellerratings with a configuration in mind and was pleased to find their prices were more reasonable than literally 98% of the other online stores I had shopped. I continued to shop around the entire time I was communicating with Kevin, and could not find a reputable dealer with a better price package (when you included cost, quality, warranty and after market support); believe me, if I had, I would be writing a review for that place, for good or ill.
Through the entire process, Kevin (the owner by the way, a very personal touch) was extremely helpful at all times. He recommended items as he saw my computer taking shape, some a bit more expensive and some less expensive, always with what I wanted out of the computer in mind. I never felt pressured to upgrade this component or that, and I always felt like I could trust his response to fully be about what was best for me, not for the sale. This alone has truly changed my expectations for online shopping.
So, after 10 grueling days of shopping, researching, emailing both to my home and work at all hours, I finally decided on my final configuration, and the computer was built, tested and shipped precisely on time (seven business days, even though a few components were delayed!) and I have now been running my new PC through the paces for six days and loving it, and feeling so very happy about my decision to shop with KC Computers.
Summary - Price: Very reasonable. Even though there were a couple of sites I could have gotten the system cheaper by a couple hundred dollars, there was always an issue; either the components were not just what I wanted, or the site had a ton of bad press. Quality and delivery: Exceptional; the machine is exactly what I wanted and it was delivered as fast as promised on the seventh business day after placing the order after hours. Options: seemingly limitless options of components and name brands and Kevin worked hard to help me find and get what I wanted, to the component. And finally, the icing on the cake for this company, Customer Support was phenomenal. I literally can not say enough about how easy and comfortable this sale was for me, and how confident I am that if I ever do have a problem in the life of this computer, KC Computers will take care of me (1 year cross shipping replacement for any components and lifetime support is amazing - for no additional "extended warranty" BS pricing!)
In the end, I would recommend KC Computers to anyone shopping. In all areas that matter, they are far superior to any site I could find for the price & warranty.
EDIT: Almost forgot, the packaging was wonderful! Everything came in one very securely packaged box, and the OEM boxes had been packed and taped in such a manner that I wasn't sure at first if the built the machine or sent me the components individual by accident! All of the documentation was with the system, as well as all of the software from each component. I was impressed! "

"Just purchased a system from KC Computers. Incredibly fast customer service. Kevin was always friendly and helpful. We exchanged no less than 20 emails. I asked so many questions than even I myself felt embarassed. But Kevin always answered within 30 mins. I requested some specific components, and they still managed to find them for me.
After I received the system, it's been running great. But I still opened up the case, just wanted to see how KC did the wiring. The wiring is very good. I then again emailed them for some minor questions regarding the wiring and components questions. They were still very helpful.
Overall, just a great company. I would definitely purchase my next PC from KC computers."
