"I purchased an item on 12/15 as a christmas gift, and the website said 5 - 7
days for shipping. I paid via paypal and the payment went through.
i had not received the item as of 12/21, nor had i received a tracking
number, so i emailed them to see if the item had shipped at 8:57AM CST . I
received a cryptic email on 12/22 at 9:29AM CST saying
"Your order is pending verification. Once verified we will ship to you."
I called to find out what they needed to verify and got the message "due to
high call volumes, call back later".
this is looking very shifty. once i receive my reply, i will update this
review with what they are doing.

Jomadeals has updated their system, admitted their fault, and is sending my package via next day air. once it arrives, i will finalize my review."
