"I wasnt sure about ordering from this company either initially, but had no issues with my order. I think I've ordered from them 2x now. Orders take a little longer to arrive but that's really not a big deal since I know & can just order sooner. And the savings makes it definitely worth it. No problems here!"

"No problems ordering from Joe's. Rec'd everything in good condition and in the time frame that was given to me. Prices were lower than any where else on the internet and of course lower than my local veterinarian's prices. Ordered Advocate for my dogs and Revolution for my cats. So far, no fleas so I'm sure it is working. Will buy from again."

"Initially I was surprised by the difference in price between 1800PetMeds and Joe's. I did some research on this and found out, through anecdotal evidence, that Joe's was in Australia and that they don't have the same standards so the meds are substandard (one person with a competing company said it was illegal...)

I emailed Joe's about this issue to make sure I wasn't breaking the law in the US and to find out about the quality. Here's what they wrote back:

All of the products listed on our web site including Frontline, Advantage, Advantix, Revolution and Heartgard are exactly the same as the products you would purchase locally. In fact they are even made in the same factories to exactly the same specifications and then simply packaged for different geographic markets. There may be some minor packaging differences such as weights listed in KG's rather than lbs where the target market has the metric system.

We understand that your concern for your pets welfare is your first priority (as it is ours) so if you don't feel 100% comfortable with your purchase then return it and we will offer you a full refund upon receipt.

I placed an order for Heartgard Plus and Frontline Plus (saving about 50% off other site's prices) and it took 10 days to arrive from Australia. This is the same stuff I saw at Petsmart, only significantly cheaper.

I'm not employed with Joe's or any other pharm. provider. I'm a consumer with two of the best Shelties on the planet.

So far, I'm pleased with what I got from Joe's and i'll reorder when needed.

"I just ordered another round of Frontline Plus for our cats. This will be our 4th order with them. It takes a while to receive due to their location; however knowing that I just order a little earlier. They are very reasonable priced and have always come through with my order. No problems thus far. Have recommended them to several people."

"Have ordered many times - belong to a feline rescue group and several of us order regularly. Packaged the same as the product in the US. I refer people to this site all the time. Have always received the product and the product is amazingly less expensive. Have not had a flea problem in the shelter using this product regularly. Will continue to order on a regular basis!"

"FANTASTIC SELLERS!!! I have purchased Frontline Plus and Heartgard Plus for Dogs for the past two years from Joe's Pet Meds. I have had no problems whatsoever. Great store, Great Staff, Great Prices!

When you can save $20 to $25 on ONE item, why in the world would you shop anywhere else? I believe the negative comments are posted by employees/owners of pet medical supply stores in the US who are trying to bilk pet owners out of hard earned dollars! Shame on you!"

"I purchased medication for my dog from Joe's Pet Meds. I inadvertently ordered the wrong dosage so contacted them to do an exchange. They instructed me to write "return to sender" on the box I received and put it back in the mail to them to get a refund and order the correct size. I did this and never received a refund to my account. I would never order from them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know. So now I'm left without the product and less the money I paid for it."

"We had a very bad experience trying to place an order on line. This was not the first time we used Joe's, but it will be the last. My wife attempted to place an order for a 6-month's supply. The order came to about $90 US. The website kept saying "continue", but she never was able to get a confirmation. She finally logged off and checked our bank account. Joe's Pet Meds had put eleven (11) orders pending on our bank account!! That was about $1000! Of course there was no way to call Joe's because of their being in Australia, and they give no phone number on their website. We contacted our bank and were eventually able to file 11 claims to get our money back. We have received our credits that way. My wife wrote an email to Joe's, and they did reply saying they were having problems. We will not be using or recommending Joe's Pet Meds."
