reply posted May-01-2013 “No credit is due as it was shipped according to both our "clearly" stated policy and Fedex's shipping policy. Neither were there emails or voice mails that were received. This is not to say customer did not try to reach us, just that nothing was received and our phones are answered until Midnight Pacific Time.
Concerning this order: Order was placed on Thursday 12/20 and shipped Friday 12/21 FedEx 2nd Day service as requested.
FedEx and UPS do not count the day they pick up a shipment as a "ship" day so the following "business day is the "first" day. Saturday and Sunday are NOT business days for either unless shipping FedEx Home(Monday FedEx Home does not deliver) or unless you request and pay additional charges for Saturday delivery.
So in this case the "First" day would be Monday.
So Tuesday was Christmas and no deliveries are made so the next "Business" day is Wednesday 12/26 AND also the "2ND" day in 2nd day shipping which is when the order was delivered.
We shipped the day after ordering, shipped 2nd Day FedEx as requested and it was delivered as FedEx scheduled 2nd Day service does, the 2nd "Business" day after pick up.
Additionally, we clearly explain this in our Help Center under shipping so it could have been checked before ordering. No credit is due as it was shipped according to both our "clearly" stated policy and Fedex's shipping policy.”

reply posted May-01-2013 “First...this is an International order. Yes there is additional shipping and it is expensive to ship anything to Australia from the US.
Second...Sorry, that is what the cost is from the Postal Service. Two emails were sent and we did not ship International at that time without a written consent to the additional shipping charge. We never heard back and sent it 1 last time. We credited the customer in a timely manner after that point. We only charge during the Holiday season. The rest of the year, we do not charge until it ships.
Customer ordered a LARGE box, not small, 11 1/2"L x 7 3/4"W x 5 1/2"H and weighed 15 - 22 pounds when packed! The cost of shipping was actual cost.”
"I placed this order on May 1st. I logged in on May 6th to check on the status of the order. There was nothing available online. I sent an email to "customer service" and waited two days before checking back....no reply. I called during business hours and was told to leave a number and they would call me back. I didn't leave a number since I am at work during their business hours and cannot take calls. I called back a few days later and left a message. It is now May 14th and I still do not see any shipping information or any reply from "customer service". I sent a second email to "customer service" today and I will check back in two days for a reply. I'm hoping that this review will initiate a dialog with someone so that I can find out the status of this order.
Once I finally receive the product, I will come back and give an accurate description of the craftsmanship. I am a woodworker so I will be able to describe the quality of the joints, hinges, etc. In any case, at this point, I'm not too impressed with the service but I will reserve my final judgement until after I receive the merchandise."
