But as the saying goes--third time\u0027s a charm and USPS delivered a package that had been mechanically violated and contained only 1\/3 of my order. The remaining fragments were all neatly tucked inside a plastic bag with a printed disclaimer that began \u0022We care, but ship happens...\u0022<br>I really don\u2019t understand how other reviewer\u2019s on this site can possibly rate their service as unsatisfactory. I found it above and beyond most other sites that I frequent. I was immediately contacted by a real-person after sending a simple two-line note to them using their \u201cContact Us\u201d page. Try getting hold of real person with PayPal or Amazon or E-Bay (it won\u2019t happen easily). Two more, very apologetic e-mails later and all of the missing pieces to my original order were shipped out to me again--no questions asked, no postage due. The local post office showed that jetpens had messed up my shipping information when they put in the order. <br><br>It\u0027s now 19 days later.<br><br>So 5 days ago, I first contacted customer service. My shipment is still missing, and customer service did respond, eventually. Between the one email they manage to squeak out every day, they informed me that in the time it took to respond to my query and my confirmation of my (still) correct shipping information, one of the items I ordered went out of stock...<br><br>I have no idea what is going on there, but this is absolutely ridiculous. If they\u0027re only sending out one email a day, does it mean they\u0027re so busy they can only get back to them at that rate? Or does it mean that they get so few they only do customer service work once a day? And at great prices. (A tech equivalent would be if Nokia\u0027s more comprehensive, advanced line of phones and gadgets--accessible outside of North America--were made available\/functional for all, worldwide, at consistent, lower prices. Okay, maybe that\u0027s hyperbolic, but we can all dream.)<br><br>But with this vendor bookmarked, I find that I no longer have to request favors of people going overseas. If JetPens sells it, I just check the site to see if it\u0027s in stock: if so, it\u0027s a quick ordering process, if not, they offer product notifications via email. Their consistent pricing gives peace of mind so you never have to worry about conversion rates, and retardo import fees. (I haven\u0027t yet seen anything that\u0027s inflated as much as the items in those \u0022oh so urbane and exotic\u0022 retail shops.)<br><br>Icing on the cake would be their Amazon.com-like free shipping deal, and impressive selection of supplies meant for calligraphy, sketching, watercolor, inking, etc. Sweet sundry stuff, too, including refills, highlighters\/markers, erasers, some Moleskine-type notebooks, sketchbooks\/paper, and specialty office\/art supplies. If you can\u0027t find exactly what you want, you just might find something comparable, if not better; so no more being depressed.<br><br>Some things are cheap--given their disposable nature, but the majority of the products are of very good quality. I especially like the Puffy Pens whose ink puffs up after you heat it with a heat tool (or a hair dryer)--these pens are from Korea and other than in Korea, I\u0027ve never seen them anywhere but at JetPens.com--a real must for any paper crafter or scrapbooker.<br><br>JetPens.com carries a broad line of ink pens, pencils, water brushes, pencil holders and many other stationary related things mainly from Japan and some things from Korea too. Things that are easy to get IF YOU HAPPEN TO LIVE IN JAPAN but (were) nearly impossible to get if you lived outside of Japan. Jetpens.com bridges the gap between Japan and the rest of the world bringing wonderful writing items to the masses. "I was elated to find a company concerned with customer satisfaction. This is how you build a business. A recent order I placed arrived with a mistake. The pen set had two of the same pen. From the packaging's tamper device, it was clearly not the fault of JetPens. A quick e-mail and a replacement was sent. Additionally, they let me keep the extra pen. Well done! Great selection, knowledgeable, good prices, fast delivery. "
