"This review is for the Gaylord, MI location. Everyone is a gunsmith or a bow technician in their respective department. The women in archery really know their stuff. There's a high turnover rate for employees, so make sure you get someone who has worked there more than a few months to work on your equipment. I've seen some butchered equipment at the hands of people who THOUGHT they knew what they were doing.

Jay's has one of the best return policies I've ever encountered. I've seen them return items that are the store brand of another business. If they don't have something in stock, they will special order it for a customer for no additional charge. Their prices are on the high side for most items, but many employees are willing to offer a discount if you ask and you're not a jerk about it. Good deals can be had at their yearly sidewalk sale in August."
