I ordered online in the late afternoon on Friday January 22. My order was shipped the same day, less than three hours later. I chose 'Free Shipping' and the package arrived exactly 1 week later. So shipping wasn't that fast, but the price was right!
As always, J&R is so easy to order from online--and the website is easy to navigate and compare similar items; to find all the specs (how many times have I searched in vain on other websites to find out if a computer peripheral is compatible with Mac?); and to find a device with certain characteristics (size, price, etc.)
As usual with J&R, everything was smooth, and I recommend them highly, and will order from them again.
Great service, but poor product. I purchased a LG KF9000 Prada II phone. Upon appraisal, it was determined to be a FAKE. I payed full retail price for an AUTHENTIC Prada II phone, and was ripped off. I will NEVER do business with them again, they are crooks. They took advantage of me, and stole my money. When the appraiser called the company, all he was told was that they "think they only sell authentic products."

I bought an Acer computer and a Acer monitor from this company back in November. The Acer monitor is great but the computer I received turned out to be defective but I wasn't sure of it until almost two months later.
The problem is that there is a excessive DPC latency issue that causes the sound to become all garbled after an hour or two of use. The computer also slows down to a crawl after lite use requiring a restart to fix it for another hour or two. I know it is not software related and there is something wrong with the hardware because I've tried it all.
I've returned it to Acer once using the original packaging thinking they would fix it or give me a replacement. I got it back in plain packaging and all they did was "test" it. When I found out about that I knew Acer was trouble so I contacted J&R through email to see if I could return it for a replacement or similar product. I didn't bother to call them because in the email they pretty much told me I was out of luck and to try Acer again. Apparently they won't take merchandise back if it's not in the original packaging. That was their excuse anyway. I understand I must call for a RMA but the way it was explained in the email that wouldn't help either. Well, at least they were nice in the email.
Anyway I decided to give Acer a chance again since they told me to try them again. Well I got it back the second time and all they did was reload the OS and there were actually more problems then before I sent it in. That is Acers fault though. I can't deal with Acer, no one will give me the time of day so that's why I contacted J&R before sending it in again.
The simple fact that J and R told me I couldn't send it back for at least something leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I've purchased software from J and R before through amazon and they came through but I'm out of $650 dollars now because of a machine that doesn't work properly. I could try to sell it but why would someone want a broken computer?
I guess that is the risk of buying online though. If it was Walmart or Target I bought it from they would certainly take it back I'm sure. So as it is now I have a machine that is just junk. At this point I would take what I could get for this even if it's a computer that isn't even half as good as this is supposed to be.
J&R did an outstanding job. My order went out the next day and thank goodness they use someone else other then USPS for shipping. Got the order in great shape and quickly. will order from here again.
The folks at J&R worked tirelessly to fulfill my wishes since the item that I ordered twice was discontinued by the manufacturer. I have shopped before with J&R and find them to be honest, reasonable and go to extremes to satisfy the customer.
No tracking info because J&R sent it ECONOMY GROUND???????!!!!!!!! ECONOMY GROUND!!!!!!!???????
I am very disappointed in this manner of shipping my order, after experiencing all other internet sellers using a much better and speedier form of shipping (which we the consumer are charged for!!!!)

We are sorry to hear that we displeased this customer. Our drop down Shipping Options box presents 6 choices, one of which is Economy Ground. The customer chose this ship method, which also included free shipping.
We started offering Economy Ground as a way of saving our customers money. It has worked very well for several years now, and our customers like the savings. The trade off is that the delivery time can be 5-7 business days and it is non-traceable.
Bottom line, if time is of the essence, we present very clear options our customers may take advantage of to insure faster delivery, but these are options customers must select.

I was desperate to get the item I ordered by the next day before traveling. The J & R customer representative promptly confirmed that the item I needed was in stock (he not only checked the item's number, but confirmed the item's description; he assured me that the item would ship today, and confirmed that I would receive it prior to my departure. The entire transaction was efficient, quick and complete--I received a confirmation email shortly with the operator's name and contact information. This is a great way to do business.

when i placed my order it was tempoary out of stock, 2 days later i received an email that my order had been shipped, how's that for service, great i think.
I ordered a Shure Phono Cartridge from J&R this morning and received an immediate acknowedgement. What truly surprised me was to receive a second e-mail on the same day that my order had shipped! Now that's what I call SERVICE! I will not only buy from them again, but will recommend them to others. They certainly have their 'act' together! Thank you.
Response to my order was amazing. The day after I ordered, the package arrived. It was packaged well. Also, J&R kept me informed via e-mail of every movment of the order.
This 1 year extended warranty was given to me after complaining that I didn't get the warranty that the salesman promised. I bought an unlocked cell phone by phone and it came with only a 3 months J&R warranty instead of the promised 1 year manufacturer/original warranty. A J&R representative followed up my complain and send this one to me.
EXCELLENT JOB !! I'm really impressed. I told the story to tens of people, I will definitely keep buying from a company so concerned with customer satisfaction.

I was very impressed with the entire transaction. The security checks that J&R has in place is some of the best I've seen. The checking system they use is second to none. Without getting into it I was totally impressed on what I had to do to finish the order. With identity fraud running rampant I feel totally secure with my online purchase with J&R. I would recomend this company to all.
