Resellerratings, this site, provides a means by which a customer may review a reseller, but from time to time we will see a product review mixed in that we address forthwith. We have not had an inordinate number of returns on this item, but that could change. If it does, we would consider pulling the product off the shelf. One this is for certain. We would never try to sell items we know to be low quality.

"So I bought the iPad 3, but I am a 'Sonyhead' so i needed the Tablet S! I also bought the stand. The unit looks elegant, especially in the stand. The processor is fast, so apps load quickly. It has bluetooth and an expansion slot as well as front and back cameras. Uploaded most of the apps I use on the iPad and some cool new ones. Of note are the ones that specifically work with the stand. Battery life is great. The unit can control all of your A/V equipment, but i wasn't impressed with the interface because you have to switch remotes on the app vs programming it to integrate. For example, I watch tv through a stereo system and cable box. I need to switch remotes on the unit to control each device vs. being able to program one remote to control these individual functions. Not a deal breaker unless u bought the tablet for this purpose. This item does control my other DLNA certified devices like wi-fi speakers, etc. A plus is that this tablet can replace my Sony reader and easily does so much more. Touch pad is responsive and interface, though more sophisticated than the iPad, is simple and for the most part intuitive. Helps if u have a Google account because it seems made for this and integrated quickly and nicely including auto download of my photos. The unit seems sturdy, but not as solid as the iPad. It is light weight but not awkward with its wedge shape the back and sides are made of plastic, so time will tell how it holds up, but no issues so far. Not so impressed with the gaming (old sucky PS2 games) but you can download other games from the app store (Google PLAY). In conclusion, this is a good value for the money and there are more advantages than buying this unit over an iPad (but glad i didn't have to choose). I find I use the sony tablet more and happy with/would recommend the purchase."
