"Amazingly slow on what should have been instock merchandise. Kept claiming items were shipped but never provided any proof or tracking number. Would not give refund and kept making bogus claims. Could not contact by telephone. Finally had to report as a fraud case to credit card after well over three months since order. Still pending resolution."
"I order The Enterprise Eng. Uniform and rank pips They stopped answering emails, phone call and certified letters in Dec 2005 and have not return money or sent order."
"Okay, I've heard a lot of bad stuff about this company, however my experience with them was not so. It took about a month to get the things I ordered, but everything came as was ordered and they did respond to e-mails and provided tracking of the delivery as well. The only complaint I have is that the Jacket pattern I ordered needed better instructions, but I hear that is the case with all the old patterns."
"We ordered a tunic pattern from him several weeks ago, and never recieved the CD. We tried to cancel the order and were told it would be shipped a couple of days later and were told "no refunds". Looks like we'll have to put in a dispute and let the legal eagles handle it. Now I know why the fans are ordering tunics from us instead of him.
Fortunately Rod.com came through with a pattern for us. "
"(potential) BUYER BEWARE! I wish I'd seen these reviews before my own debacle. I'd have saved myself $160 and a lot of indigestion.
On Aug 26, 2007, I ordered a $160 pair of "Star Trek TOS Boots." These were supposed to be authentic, hand-made, high-quality TOS replicas as shown in the pictures on his Web site (www.costumecostumecostume.com). Two months and 6 emails later, on October 29, 2007, I received a generic $40 pair of non-TOS boots that can be ordered from any online costume store. NOT WHAT I ORDERED.
When I confronted Mr. Kerezman about this, he suddenly came forth with a story about how "his boot maker is way behind" and that he therefore "sent these $40 boots so I'd have something for Halloween while we wait for the REAL boots to be delivered." He went on to say that he simply hadn't had time to enclose a letter explaining all this (despite the fact that we'd talked via email a half-dozen times prior to the order arriving).
I then sent Mr. Kerezeman a very civil/professional email telling him that this had all made me uncomfortable with the entire situation, and to cancel the transaction and refund my credit-card. I told him that I'd send his $40 boots back and that I'd even pay shipping. I've not heard back from him since.
Coincidentally, I had a number fraudulent credit charges show up a few days later, and had to shut my account down. I can't substantiate any kind of connection, but it's quite a coincidence that it happened shortly after my "breakup email" to Mr. Kerezman."
"I had wished I read this before ordering. I placed an order in Sept and was told I would get my order before the Haloween weekend and I never got my order. The merchant was unresponsive to my emails and lied about shipping the item. I asked for a tracking number many times but was never giving a tracking number for the order."
"I finally received my order after filing a complaint with the BBB & the FTC. The shirt seemed OK at first sight, but the fabric he used was not stretchable, and seems substandard for a shirt. He used upholstry grade fabric, and didn't provide a sufficient zipper to put the shirt on and off without the help of one or two other people. After a bit of practice, I managed to get it on and off by myself, but it now has a one inch split in two locations of the shirt. If he is not a fraud, then he surely is poor in his choice of materials. I'm afraid to clean it because I think it will either fall apart completely, or it will shrink so small that only a "G.I. Joe" action figure will be able wear it! The fabric color isn't authentic either. It's straight gold velvet. No attempt at accuracy here! However, the patches are pretty good, and the fit (once it's on) is not bad (considering that he had to work with my novice measurments). I don't think I'll be going to him for anything...ever again!"
"I wanted to go as Lt. Uhura for Halloween this year and I wanted an authentic costume. I came across Kerezman's costume on e-bay and also looked at his website and was unfortunately duped. Four weeks passed and Halloween was the upcoming weekend, and no costume in sight. I received no responses to my e-mail inquiries. Halloween came and passed and I had no costume. Fortunately I paid for this item on PAYPAL (highly recommended you use this all the time!) and you are able to dispute ANY orders paid for through PayPal and they will look into the dispute for you, and refund your money if they are able to resolve the dispute in your favor. Well, the threat of the dispute through paypal is what prompted Kerezman into action. Low and behold, the DAY I LAUNCHED THE DISPUTE, my costume was mailed to me. Hmmmm...imagine that??? I spent $188 on this costume and my mother could have done a much better job on her sewing machine if she had the pattern. Apparently I should consider myself extremely lucky though. At least I got what I ordered. I've now seen countless complaints on Kerezman costumes all over the net. BUYER BEWARE!!!"
