"On 7-7-2010, I purchased an iPhone 4 Reception case from Ivyskin.com. They showed pictures of the product on their website and it was featured on various technology blogs. Possibly due to some supply issues or market forces, Ivyskin was not able to ship the product in a timely manner and many people on the same tech sites that got them their orders started to look at other options, while at teh sem time, Apple was doing the free Case program.They eventually printed a shipping label for the case on 7-18, with tracking number as others have mentioned, making it appear that the product was shipping and hurting people in any dispute with Paypal or their credit card company, yet they did not actually get the item into the USPS system until 12 days later, on 7-30, when it was processed through the Kearny NJ sort facility. The case (or I should say, the packaging for the case) arrived at my location at 2:02 PM on 8-2-2010. Immediately upon inspection of the packaging, which was an approximately 5x7 white bond type paper (why not tyvek or another more durable product?) envelope with thin bubble wrap inside, it became clear that the flap had come unglued in shipping and the case was not in the package. I gave it back to the mailman, who marked it as refused as their system does not allow for damaged notations. I also called Ivyskin and told the gentleman what had happened and he said they would send out another case. Meanwhile, the package was returned to Ivyskin by the USPS at 12:10 PM 8-5-2010. Also, others who recieved the case found that the item was different in several ways than the picture they showed originally and that picture was changed on their website.To date, I have not received a replacement case or a refund. I called Ivyskin to request a refund as it is now 8-24-2010 and the gentleman, who gave his name as Tom, was very abrasive and would not beleive that this had hapened. He essentially told me I was out of luck and they would not be interested in accomodating their customer. Also, when I told him that if he did not provide the agreed upon case or a refund that I would contact my credit card company for a dispute and chargeback, he threatened to try to ruin my credit rating.I would avoid these scammers at all costs. They are not very ethical."
"Buyers beware!!!!Please be warned as this site takes order and does not deliver. My order was placed on 7/8/10 when they said it was "in stock" but after almost a month passed, they have not delivered. The tracking number they gave doesn't work and they do not answer my call or return my email.I am currently filing a claim through paypal to get refund.I believe this site maybe a fraud."
"Worst experience with a retailer ever. Very similar experiance with Jettubby and RKGixxer. Ordered the iPhone 4 Reception Case on the 13th of July, my credit card was charged on the 15th and finally got an email from Ivyskin that my order was shipped on the 19th. The tracking number has not shown any progress since besides saying that the "Electronic Shipping Info Received" which means there is no package to track and nothing has actually been shipped. After no response to emails and vague smoke-and-mirrors from their phone number I can see their "customer service" is of absolutely no help. I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (which they are supposedly accredited by) to try to get a refund and suggest that anyone with similar problems do the same."
"This is my first order with IvySkin for an iPhone4 case. I received an email the evening of my order saying that my order was shipped on July 21st and the shipping was 3-5 days USPS. They sent me a tracking number. After 9 days now I called the postal service and they have no record. I contacted IvySkin and first emailed me back calling me a wrong name and with info regarding someone else's account??? I told them that I have no received the case and it's been 9 days. They said they would look into it but no word from them so far. This is not going well and their customer service is not showing promise. I'll change my review if they get back to me and take care of the problem. "
"Ordered a case for an iPhone 4 on 8 July. My credit card was charged on 10 Jul. Received an email with a USPS tracking # stating case was shipped on 19 Jul. Checked tracking # on USPS site and was shown the item was not picked up for shipment. Sent an email 23 Jul asking where is the package, as USPS stated the pkg had not been shipped. Received a boilerplate response stating the package had shipped, with no explanation for the discrepancy. Called CS line 27 Jul and no one answered the phone. Sent another email 27 Jul demanding IvySkin tell me where is the pkg or refund my money. Received the following response: "And if you have any doubt about Ivyskin and would like to cancel the order and requesting refund then return the package sealed back to shipper address and receive refund within 10 business days." So I can't get my money back unless I return the pkg, which I can't seem to get, and IvySkin won't or can't tell me where it is. Great Catch-22.Update Aug 4, Itme arrived yesterday in the mail. Still dissatisfied with customer service, but at least they did ship the package.
