"Ordered a digital SLR over the web. Got an email saying I had to call to confirm the order. They then tried to sell me every imaginable accessory at inflated prices. After I balked at buying the extended warranty, they told me the camera I ordered did not have a US warranty, but was a gray market model. They said I had to pay $80 more if I wanted the US model. They said the web site said this. I looked on the web site and it said US warranty. When I pointed this out to them they played dumb and said it would still cost more if I wanted the US warranty. I recommend you avoid these bait and switch crooks!"

"I'm not surprised to hear the comments. I would rate my service as fair. Bottom line I received the product I ordered for the price I ordered it within a reasonable amount of time. However, it was a bit of a hassle. I put in a web order and two days later I get an email saying my order was on hold and to call "Pete". So I call Pete and the superficial reason for the call was to verify my order. I suspect the real reason was to get the opportunity sell me the accessories. I expected this and politely declined. Pete was not overly forceful. To their credit Inoax still shipped the product even though I didn't buy any accessories. Then I called later to try to get a tracking number. Three phone calls later (and a bad UPS traking number) we were told to call DLX shipping. We did and we found to our surpise the product was coming that afternoon! I think the shipping fiasco was more incompetience than malice (their "system" was down several times). The sony HC40 came sealed with a manual and matching serial number and works great (no funny business). I think there are better options. If you do still decide to order, save yourself some time and just call directly and ask for a tracking number up front. "
"The Sales person threatened me!!! Do not buy from this company! I ordered a canon Optura 30 from this company. The sales person asked me to order some extra package and I reclined that. Then the sales person told me that they do not have the camcorder in stock. After three weeks, they still do not have the camcorder. When I told the salesperson that I want to cancel the order and I will write negative reviews, he told me he is going to charge me a cancellation fee and send a bomb to my house. I am very angry and scared now."
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THE WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.
Order placed December 29th: After shopping around for a few days for a Sony Wega 42" Rear Projection LCD TV I found that Inoax.com had the cheapest price including shipping $1399 + $169. The next day got a call on my cell phone to verify the order and they offered a HDMI cable & 4 year warranty which included 3 bulbs for the TV. For TV\Shipping\Warranty\HDMI to HDMI cable I was charged $2018.98, a great deal in my estimation. I recieved the TV via UPS on January 4th.
That is where the hell of dealing with this company begins...
The packaging was terrible. It was the stock Sony box packaged BUT inside an unmarked box with the Packing slip and label on what would be the side of the TV. No "this side up" or "fragile" stickers.
The TV was completely damaged, whe whole screen shattered. I immediately called Customer Service, they said they would arrange for UPS to pickup and a replacement would be sent when UPS verified pickup. They said UPS would be in touch to arrange. Easy enough right?
January 12th rolls around and still no word from UPS. I call them and they have the pickup order, only Inoax provided them THEIR claims department as the customer contact. UPS said they left 3 messages at the number provided and were never contacted, that is why pickup had not yet been arranged. We straightened than out and scheduled pickup, which took place on January 16th.
I called Inoax to ask for a shipping refund, they refused, when I asked to speak to a manager, they refused. I mentioned how they provided UPS the wrong information and they told me that UPS lied to me. I mentioned the poor packaging and they again blamed UPS. (the outside box had damage but the inside, stock sony box had none which made me question if the shipment was sent broken) I told them I just wanted a replacement shipped. They said they can not until they get verification of pickup. It was going on 3 weeks and I still didn't have my TV, I was getting fed up.
When the TV was picked up I kept calling asking if my replacement was sent, their story kept changing. 3 times I was told a replacement was sent out. I finally ask for a tracking number and what they gave me was for the ORIGINAL SHIPMENT! I told them UPS said tracking numbers were never duplicated and they had no record of anything coming back to my address. Inoax's Customer Service told me UPS was LYING and that I had to work it out with UPS because the replacement is in their hands. It seemed I had to do all the communication between the shipper and the shipping company.
I contacted UPS and they informed me that they were in the process of inspecting the damages of the original, which they would ship back to Inoax after. When I got back to Inoax to tell them to ship the replacement out they again said they could not (finally admitting they they never did ship a replacement), this time because they need the return back to their location before sending a replacement. I asked them to cancel the order and they told me they can't until they got the shipment back. When UPS's tracking system said it was delivered back to INOAX I called and they still would NOT refund because it was "not in our system yet". They left it at making the refund once "it gets in our system". I don't trust it will happen as all I have been given is lies.
I filed a complaint with the BBB and also a dispute with my credit card company just incase.
Over the time from scheduling pickup with UPS and now (February 3rd) I have been in touch with INOAX several times. I was lied to, hung up on, and misled. I was told I'd be called back for information at least 4 times and was never contacted.
This place should be shut down."

"Before placing my order, I called and asked the salesperson to verify availability. I was told it was physically available in their warehouse.
I placed the order for next day shipment. The next day, nothing had shipped, and only after I called I received a cancellation email.
I don't understand why did they waste their time and mine by telling me a lie about availability. Nothing would have happened if they just told me the truth (that the product was not available)"
"I Called FotoConection with questions about a camcorder package I'm interested in ordering,Fotoconection had the best package and thebest price. I spoke with Victor who was very pleasent and willing to answer all my question with no pressure to purchase. Customer service at Fotoconnection will bring me back to purchase other needed item thanks to Victor. "
"The Samsung TV purchased for my husband's birthday was damaged in shipment. Reaching customer service was nearly impossible...long waits on line, transfers between departments, no call backs although they were promised. The return process was cumbersome as coordination between Inoax and shipper was unclear. Although arrangements were supposedly made, it took at least 4 calls to make it actually happen. A cable sold to me at time of purchase was not compatible with our cable box and was returned in January, new in original packaging. Even though I have proof of delivery, Inoax has not issued a refund three months after return. Weekly letters to company have not resolved the problem. I do not recommend this company at any level."
"Ordered online. Last 3 verification number of credit card wasn't requested. A Representative left a message on my cell the next day, asking me to call in for confirmation.
The wait for calling in was around 3-10 minutes (because I was not willing to wait so I hung up). I was put on hold multiple times with no indication that any representative would answer my call soon. I called back in a few times, found that if I go through another department (not customer service) and ask directly for the name of the person who asked me to call in, I could get served quicker.
Anyway, the Rep tried really really hard to sell me stuffs. I knew that from reading these reviews, so I just politely said no. He tried to sell me least 4-5 different products. I also kept a smiling tone of voice, thanking the Rep for his enthusiasm (there is no harm from doing this. It only takes about 3-5 minutes of your time).
Order, Nikon Coolpix 5700, was ordered on Thursday. Called in on Friday. Order arrived on Monday. Very quick. New condition.
Bottom Line:
- Delivery: FAST (1-2 business days). Possibly, might have to do with my being polite to the Rep.
- Customer service: Fair, or not good. I'd prefer not to receive the extra advertisements of other products. This is the Company's poor service. I don't blame the Representative. The wait on the phone was frustrating.
- Shop again: Yes. Cheap price with reasonable service > More expensive price with great service > Cheapest price ($100 lower = scam) with horrible service"

"I ordered Sony Cybershot P100 camera. Two days later received an email asking me to call the company to confirm the order. Called a couple of times and left voice mails - no one responded. Finally, on 12/16 talked to Ronald Johnson. He told me I was lucky he found my order based on the number I gave him (?!?), he told me that P100 was excellent camera, but it did not have any memory (?!?), and I needed to order memory separatelly. At that point I asked him to cancel my order.
"I shopped feverishly for a good bargain on a new television for my home and by comparing prices this website seemed to be the best. When I called to inquire about specific products they told me they run two webites,INOAX.com and FOTOCONNECTION.com one was for international sales the other for local/US sales. My sales rep Eric was a smooth talking car saleman wannabe. He told me they had the best price but to buy their product I had to get a warranty and extra cables. He said that was the only way they would sell it to me. Then he said I had to pay shipping insurance that was figured to be about 10% of the purchase price, he said everyone in the business required shipping insurance. Big Lie. They say they are an authorized Sony dealer, but I called Sony USA and they have never heard of them and Sony referred me to its website listing all the authorized Sony resellers. I bought from ONECALL.com and would suggest that you view their rating."
