"I purchased a goalie jock from them, after some research on other various models, finding them to be a combo of a) closest geographically to me and b) lowest price. I had to call them to confirm a few payment details, and the person at the other end of the line cleared everything up; quite friendly. The shipment came through exactly as specified, so I'm happy with the transaction."

"I was skeptical about buyiing from them because they had no feedback on this site, but their service was impeccable, same day shipping, good email contact, item well packaged. Definitely a good experience."

"I ordered 3 pairs of skates from them at a promotional price. Before the order shipped, their website offered their gift cards at a promotional price. I called to check if I could pay my promotional priced order with their promotional priced gift cards. The rep said yes. I even asked if the price of the skates would change by the time I got the gift cards. He said it won't and that he would put a note in my order to hold it until I got the gift cards and called in with their numbers. He did that and I was now waiting for the gift cards to arrive.

Two days later, I get a call from a different person saying that I can't use my gift cards to pay because that would be two promotions in the same order. I understood what he said and many stores have that policy. I totally understand. But this is exactly why I called to check if that was possible PRIOR to buying my cards and bought the gift cards only because it was unequivocally confirmed that I can use my promotional priced gift cards on my promotional priced order.

I ended up paying another $38 because of their now changed position. The extra money wasn't the real issue for me. It was the way they handled this that I didn't like. The person who called and informed me about not allowing the discounted gift cards seemed to be more intent on putting me on the defensive than accepting that they made a mistake and owning up to their mistake. He said the information is very clear in all the mailers they sent about the gift cards. I didn't get any mailers. I simply went to their website and bought their cards when it offered me the discount. I saw no mention of restrictions about using the cards with a discounted order. The cards I received or the paperwork they came with had no mention of restrictions either.

In any case, my point is that I called before I bought the gift cards, discussed the specific issue, and got a resounding OK to pay with the discounted gift cards for my discounted order. I proceeded to do this only after I was given an OK and they noted that in my order.

Condescending may be too strong a word to describe the person's attitude when he called, but the person on the phone sure didn't make me feel good with his talking or service. It appears that he is either the manager who runs that store or the owner.

I don't think they were trying to bait and switch or anything like that. People make mistakes. I want to believe that their rep misled me because he didn't know his own store's rules. Or that the store owner realized later that I was getting too much of a bargain that he didn't mean to offer. But what separates a good store from a bad store is how they handle their mistakes. The way this store handled it was very unpleasant.

In summary, I didn't like the buying experience. I will avoid them in future."

"For me it was a great experience. A pair of skates I ordered did not fit so I had to exchange them for a different model. No problem at all. Amazingly fast FREE shipping, quick e-mail response. Nice store.

People make mistakes. IT IS a true free return shipping. Don't blame the store if you made the item dirty and then decided to return it. "

"Easy ordering, well laid out web site. Good customer service contact and quick reply via email, and can also use Forum on site. Decent prices. Good communication around order and shipping. Reasonable shipping costs and uses carrier with tracking for package. Have done repeat business with and will continue to, and would recommend these folks to others."

"Been shopping on this site, and often use this site as my first source for roller products. Shopping here from 2005 to 2009, until I recently stopped playing hockey on a full time basis, always a good place to buy from"

"I ordered with Inline Warehouse because

A.Their prices were outstanding
B.They had good promotions

When ordering backorder skates, I was told I could add to the order to take advantage of the promotions up until 3 days later, when they were expected to ship. They shipped the next day, and I called within 24 hours of placing to add to it, but they wouldn't honor the promos on my new order even though the rep said it had just shipped in the few hours before. I politely asked him to speak to his supervisor(I'm a rep for a toy company myself, and I know that hostility isn't necessary) to get the promotions as I was expecting. I run things by my super all the time to help customers out, and it's not like a me vs. the customer thing like it was with this guy. After he came back it seemed to me that he was trying to put me on the defensive, which really wasn't appropriate because I just asked them to honor what they were offering, and I wasn't demanding about it. There must be something wrong with their leadership there, because I don't know of many companies that will let reps get away with trying to bully their customers.

If you want to take advantage of their good prices, get your order exactly how you want it, place it online, and don't expect any understanding if things go anything less than perfect. Hopefully I'll get everything okay, because if something goes missing/wrong I don't think they'll be much help."

"They claim to have "free return shipping". I ordered 4 pairs of skates for my son, kept the pair that fit and returned the other 3. They call and say that they can't process my return because all three pairs are "covered in animal hair". He claims it will cost him $75 to clean them for sale. My son tried them on, had each pair on for less than a minute. His old skates have no dog hair on them, the new ones we kept have no dog hair on them and my skates have no dog hair on them. I have ordered dozens of skates and shoes from Zappos, never once had any problem returning them."
