The order arrived quickly as promised but unfortunately my skates were tight in the toes. I called IW and they arranged to return the first pair and send out a new one right away. The amount was not enough to qualify for free two day shipping so he had me become a "member" by buying a ten dollar T shirt. Not only did I get the free two day shipping I got 10% off the skates which covered the T shirt cost and saved me an additional $10 bucks!
"I read some negative reviews here, but I had great experience with inlinewarehouse.com. I place my order on Sunday, and it was here in Atlanta, GA on Friday of the same week. Unfortunately, my new skates were a little bit too small, so I had to send them back. My replacement pair came in no time, and they fit perfectly. The price was great, and it was very easy to communicate with customer service of inlinewarehouse.com about the exchange. I think that problems that people wrote here about happened because of the fault of those people, not because company representatives just follow their policies about returns. A lot of people are spoiled and like to abuse the return policy. And, when they don’t get what they want, they start complaining. I am sick of that kind of folks. Good job inlinewarehouse.com! "

"A fraudulent company called inline warehouse I ordered 5 pairs of sneakers from inline warehouse to be shipped to France,they charged me $88 extra i had no problem with that.the problem was they never send them everyday they give a new lie,one time they said the FedEx guy couldn't get in the building,my family lives in a private house.i called FedEx in France they said they never received anything from inline warehouse. and this was the 11th days something that was supposed to be between 3-5 days.i filed a complaint with better business bureau and cancelled the order and called my credit card company.i urge everybody to call or write better bureau business on these guys.they need to be out of business.it's the most crooked company in America.BEWARE OF IN LINE WAREHOUSE THEY ARE FRAUD."

"First and last time EVER buying from them !! My son was to excited to recieve these skates we ordered for him , he recieved them 8 days after we recieved them , tried them on , buckeled them up , skated around the house for 10-15 min. stated to me one was tighter than the other & tha it hurt the bone on top of his foot. We stated to him to keep wearing them to " let them break in " alittle.He recieved them 2 days ago .. I called at my lunch time during work THE MAN ON THE PHONE WAS SO RUDE , HE TOLD ME IF THERE WAS EVEN THE SLIGHTEST WEAR ON THE SKATES THEY CAN NOT BE RETURNED. They still hurt his foot but apparently if the skateslook like they been worn AT ALL they will not accept them for a return. THE MAN WAS SO RUDE AND ACTED LIKE .. OH WELL LADY TOOOO BAD. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE , I DONT WANT TO ARGUE < OR WANT ANYTHING FREE, I JUST WANTED TO BUY MY SON SOME DECENT SKATES THAT FIT HIM PROPERLY . THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. I totally understand if they have been worn outside, we have had these skates not even 2 full days & he has not worn them outside ! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE>"
"For me it was a great experience. A pair of skates I ordered did not fit so I had to exchange them for a different model. No problem at all. Amazingly fast FREE shipping, quick e-mail response. Nice store.
People make mistakes. IT IS a true free return shipping. Don't blame the store if you made the item dirty and then decided to return it. "
"I ordered 3 pairs of skates from them at a promotional price. Before the order shipped, their website offered their gift cards at a promotional price. I called to check if I could pay my promotional priced order with their promotional priced gift cards. The rep said yes. I even asked if the price of the skates would change by the time I got the gift cards. He said it won't and that he would put a note in my order to hold it until I got the gift cards and called in with their numbers. He did that and I was now waiting for the gift cards to arrive.
Two days later, I get a call from a different person saying that I can't use my gift cards to pay because that would be two promotions in the same order. I understood what he said and many stores have that policy. I totally understand. But this is exactly why I called to check if that was possible PRIOR to buying my cards and bought the gift cards only because it was unequivocally confirmed that I can use my promotional priced gift cards on my promotional priced order.
I ended up paying another $38 because of their now changed position. The extra money wasn't the real issue for me. It was the way they handled this that I didn't like. The person who called and informed me about not allowing the discounted gift cards seemed to be more intent on putting me on the defensive than accepting that they made a mistake and owning up to their mistake. He said the information is very clear in all the mailers they sent about the gift cards. I didn't get any mailers. I simply went to their website and bought their cards when it offered me the discount. I saw no mention of restrictions about using the cards with a discounted order. The cards I received or the paperwork they came with had no mention of restrictions either.
In any case, my point is that I called before I bought the gift cards, discussed the specific issue, and got a resounding OK to pay with the discounted gift cards for my discounted order. I proceeded to do this only after I was given an OK and they noted that in my order.
Condescending may be too strong a word to describe the person's attitude when he called, but the person on the phone sure didn't make me feel good with his talking or service. It appears that he is either the manager who runs that store or the owner.
I don't think they were trying to bait and switch or anything like that. People make mistakes. I want to believe that their rep misled me because he didn't know his own store's rules. Or that the store owner realized later that I was getting too much of a bargain that he didn't mean to offer. But what separates a good store from a bad store is how they handle their mistakes. The way this store handled it was very unpleasant.
In summary, I didn't like the buying experience. I will avoid them in future."

"Best customer service ever. Had a great experience with inline/ice warehouse. First off I didn't know what size skate I was so I ended up ordering two different sizes. Both skates shipped out FREE 2nd day air. I ordered them Wednesday and got them on Friday... WOW!!!!! After trying both of them on I still couldn't make up my mind so I called IW to ask about proper fit. The customer service rep was very knowledgeable and suggested the smaller of the two sizes. He also set me up with a free return label to ship back the other skate for a full refund. Usually I end up paying for something either shipping or a restocking fee. No extra charges at IW "fantastic ". I skated on my new skates last weekend and they are AMAZING. They broke in exactly like the customer service rep said. Customer for life. Great job IW"

"They claim to have "free return shipping". I ordered 4 pairs of skates for my son, kept the pair that fit and returned the other 3. They call and say that they can't process my return because all three pairs are "covered in animal hair". He claims it will cost him $75 to clean them for sale. My son tried them on, had each pair on for less than a minute. His old skates have no dog hair on them, the new ones we kept have no dog hair on them and my skates have no dog hair on them. I have ordered dozens of skates and shoes from Zappos, never once had any problem returning them."
"I ordered two sticks from ILWH, so I would get the free 2 day shipping for spending over $200. When I didn't receive my sticks after two days, I emailed them to ask where my sticks were. They said they only had one in stock, and were waiting for the other, which would take "a while" THEY NEVER CALLED me to let me know, and wouldn't have if I didn't email them. I needed the sticks for a tourny, so I asked them to send me the one, 2 day shipping, for free, since I still had the order pending. They refused. I canceled. I work in a customer oriented field, and deal with shipping all the time. This is VERY poor customer service. And, I will not chop there again. "
