The good, the bad, and the ugly
"The good: is the customer service, if I could it would be 5 stars. My call duration was 3min. and 42sec. I am pretty sure most of us have waited at traffic lights longer than that. The bad: I will not use thier ink again in this printer, hate missing out on good customer service.The ugly: the ink shiped to me was bad or old or something, it almost killed my printer. The best part: I didn't have to argue, fight, or bicker. The man on the other line was extremely professional and empathetic. I will use this service again, when I get a different printer. Until then keep up the customer service, it was very refreshing. And I have spent longer writing this review than it took the gentleman to email my return label. Either they don't have a lot of complaints or they have lots of experience, guess I'll find out when I get a new printer."
Never buy cheap ink cartridges
"I should have checked the reviews before I bought from this company. I had the exact same experience with a cartridge I as others on this site. I bought a black cartridge for my HP Officejet 6500a. It arrived very messy as if it was over filled. I cleaned it up and installed it. After a couple of weeks, the printer stopped working. The cartridge had leaked into the printer and clogged up everything from printhead, to the other electrical connections. I removed everything and cleaned it up, but the damage was done. I now have to buy a new printer. This is what I got for buying cheap cartridges. Never again will I waste my money on this junk."
"Ordered refills for my Canon printer and was under the impression that I was getting an original Canon cartidge. A week later I got my order and they were NOT Canon cartridges. I decided to try them and the instructions said to peel off yellow tab and then the orange plastic tab. There was no yellow tab and when I removed the larger orange cover, the ink leaked all over my hands,both out of the circular part and the side of all of the cartridges. For what I paid for these I will go with the originals and forget the refills."
Steer Clear Of This Company!
"I bought 1 color and 2 black cartridges for my Kodak ESP C315. The price of the cartridges was incredible!! However, it was the biggest mistake I made. First, the color cartridge worked immediately. However, I noticed that after a couple of days, I had to run the maintenance program to clean the print head. With the Kodak cartridges, I NEVER had to do this. Now, it became a daily thing. Next, the black cartridge -- it worked for a day and quit. So, I thought I would try the last black cartridge I had. When I took off the orange cap, ink squirted all over my floor! I cleaned up the cartridge and installed it. Still, nothing! My printer is ruined and I had to buy another printer. Customer service was apologetic and refunded the purchase of the cartridges. But, this doesn't pay for the new printer OR the ink on my floor. I'm leaving the stain as a reminder: buy brand name cartridges. Stop being a cheapskate. And, never, never, never deal with this or ANY generic company."
"Never order anything from this company guys!! Their cartridge ruined my printer, I had to buy a new one, and I can't get any kind of answer from the customer service for more than a month!!!! Crap product, crap customer service!"
"This is the first time I ever ordered from Inkfarm. When I installed the cartridges, the black did not work. I called them and they were beyond courteous and was willing to send me a postage paid label to return the bad and exchange for good ones. HOWEVER, I found out it was NOT the cartridge problem at all, it was my brand new printer that had a bad cartridge head!! After fixing that, the cartridges worked like a charm. I definitely will reorder again. A company that stands by their product with great customer service!"
"I am still awaiting a black in cartridge that I ordered about a month ago. there have been two email exchanges and I still have no cartridge or tracking number or money back or anything. And how do you acknowledge that you have just received an email 2 days after I sent it...and then I have to wait another day for any sort of response. I just needed the ink in hand, but now I've had to go to expensive Staples because the first order got "lost" in shipping and still no second one has appeared - why not have a tracking number? When I asked for it, I was ignored and it wasn't even addressed. I'm just tired of it, if I order it, I expect it to be here, period. I am almost afraid to get it now though, given the reviews about ruining printers and such. Lesson learned to order from a company I've had experience with from now on."

"Ordered first cartridge from Inkfarm on Thursday Sept. 17. Received in mail Tuesday Sept 22. Everything seems great. Fantastic price! But, be careful as cartridge ink cover is a bit messy. Worth it for the savings and speed of shipping. BTW- it says shipped from Washington state- I live in South Florida- great speed!"

"Non-HP generic black print cartridge only printed medium gray tones. I plan to never buy from Inkfarm again. I trashed the faulty cartridge because I didn't want to risk that it might leak around my desk area."
"I have ordered ink from Inkfarm for over 4 years and have referred them to numerous friends and colleagues. I have 2 HP printers, large & small as well as a Canon photo printer. Having ordered numerous cartridges over those years, only one time did I get one that my HP Officejet 7410 did not recognize. Inkjet had a replacement to me within 2 days, and that's with me living on the opposite side of the country.Regardless of what others may have experienced, I find Inkfarm very responsive and very fast, and am very pleased with all the varieties of ink I order from them."
"Never had a problem with any of the HP pritners I bought over the year and always used genuine HP cartridges. I ordered from Ink Farm for the first time and I installed all 4 ink farm cartridges on my HP 8600. Started streaking. I complained to Ink Farm. They said it was not the inks fault and that I needed to clean the print heads. I did that several times and then the problem only got worse. Ultimately needed a new print head which was about the same cost as a new printer. Don't use Ink Farm ink. it can ruin your print head."
"Writing this review, some people are going to think I'm a person from Inkfarm writing, just trust me that is not the case. I was worried when I read some the horror stories here about ink splattering when opening the package and it ruining. None of that happened with me. It printed out a black and white document very clearly with no breaks or fade whatsoever. After spending over a lot for a HP XL cartridge only for it to go bad, I saw it as worth the risk to go with an inkfarm remanufactured one. And it came through, Even if it justs a 100 pages I'd still say it would be a better value for the XL cartridge than the new one I got at a store."
"DO NOT BUY FROM INKFARM!! their ink ruined my printer. i returned the ink, they sent more, it didnt work, i used it on my new printer and now that one too is ruined. i called LD who supplies their ink, included a "100% satisfaction guaranteed" card, has their logo on all the packaging and shipping and was told it was not their ink. totally awful product, totally awful service, totally useless "guarantee", and my bad for ruining 2 compact printers by using their crap ink. STAY AWAY, RUN AWAY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR RUIN YOUR PRINTER. i dont expect to see this on their site.... too bad. you need to be warned."
