"On september 24th 2009 ..I ordered 2 pairs of infinity reference speakers and ike sound charged $32 dollars for shipping.. 6 days passed and my speakers still hadn't even shipped it simply said "waiting for inventory" i called on october 1st 2009 to cancel my order since they hd still not shipped. It is a car audio site. I'm not paying 30 dollar shipping for something that takes 6 days to ship.. I found the speakers on amazon and they were only $15 to ship so i saved money anyway... Ike Sound definately is not the way to go i would not reccommend it... Sure they have good prices that most places dont but unless u want to wait forever to get your product go somewhere else... 4 thumbs down for ike sound..."

"Ikesound is one of those rare online vendors that actually seems interested in having your business. In my most recent experience when looking for a Pioneer FH-P8000BT for my car, I hit many road blocks with other vendors. No replies to my e-mails. No answers to my phone calls. Nothing. After a week of frustration I finally gave this vendor a try.Ikesound got back to me in a very timely manner letting me know that they had my item in stock and could ship it the same day if I decided to go ahead with my order. The salesperson seemed genuinely interested in my business and that encouraged my purchase as a consumer.They followed up letting me know that my package had shipped and that I would receive the shipping information the next morning. Sure enough, shipping information arrived as promised. My item arrived this morning (shipped UPS Ground across country) in good condition and ready to be installed.I'm very satisfied. Top notch seller."
"One of the rudest, most unprofessional retailers I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. These guys sell broken junk, then attempt to scam you again with a $40 "return fee" when you try to return the defective merchandise. If there's any kind of issue, their response is to instantly become rude, condescending, or they might even just hang up on you.STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Other retailers like Crutchfield may cost a bit more, but unlike Ikesound, they treat their customers respectfully and handle returns in a professional manner. "
"My experience wiht Ikesound has been terrible ... I wouldn't ever do it again!I ordered a Kenwood KAC-X4R amplifier through www.ikesound.com (Ike's Electronics). I paid $38 shipping for amplifier and received it 5/11/2007. It was defective. I paid $20 to ship this amplifier back to Ike's sound. Ike's didn't have any more of these amplifiers in stock so they gave me a store credit. After waiting a year for the KAC-X4R amplier to come in and Ike's refused to refund any of my money, on 7/25/2007, I placed another order for 2 subwoofers and 1 "refurbished" amplifier. The total came to $387.85. I paid ~$50 to ship the two subwoofers and ~$27 to ship the amplifier. Upon receiving the amplifier, The amplifier was defective. The screws were stripped out, the amplifier had been abused. A quick visual inspection proved it defective. The same day, 8/5/2008, I e-mailed Ike's at 'email@example.com' telling them the amp I received was defective. Ike's never responded to my e-mail on 8/5/2008, so I called last Thursday, 8/14/2008, and was told I needed to pick something else. Finally on 8/21/2008, I decided to order another subwoofer since they had sent me a good pair of those. When I called, I was told that I now have to pay shipping to return the amplifier that I have, plus pay a $39 return fee (because they never sent me an RMA number in response to my e-mail, and now has been 14 days), plus I will have to pay shipping on whatever I order as well. Now, I don't trust Ike's Electronics enough to even return this amplifier. This company scams customers into paying shipping fees, and sends on defective material, and then charges the customer for their own mistakes. So far I have paid, $20(return shipping on first amp)+$27(shipping on second amp) = $47 ... plus now they want me to pay another $20 (to return second amp) + $39 (return fee because they never responded to my e-mail) = $59. So the total I will have paid for absolutely nothing is $106. "
"I had the absolute worst experience with this seller in purchasing an amplifier. After sending me the wrong item, the seller not only failed to respond to emails to their service department, but also messages through the auction site I used to purchase it. After a week and sending 6 e-mails, I finally decided to call them. The outcome was a 47 minute phone call of which I actually communicated with a person for about 4 minutes. The outcome? I left them negative feedback, am stuck with an insuperior amp that they wont take back, and wish I had read the reviews on them before purchasing as I see they have quite a reputation for screwing people over and I am just one more on the list. Anyone need a cheap amp????"
"STAY AWAY FROM IKESOUND! I orderd a US AMP 5600. The sub channel was dead. I followed their policy on returns (which is 14 days, seriously who can have a amp professionally installed in 14 days anyways). I paid a 39 dollar service fee (rediculous) and was supposed to get the amp repaired. I get a second amp, supposedly new (yet the box is pretty beat). Again my profesiional installers bench test the amp and the sub channel is dead. Now I paid to have it shipped twice, so I am not paying a 3rd time. I talk to the manager, who tells me we don't test any products but yet in their return policy they say that they do. She wants me to ship it back to her so she can either give me a store credit or ship me a new amp. Umm No! You can send me a new Amp that works and you will pay to pick up the old amp. I paid shipping twice, I refuse to pay a third time. I even requested for them to test the Amp before they shipped the repair, which they said they wouldnt do. So now my credit card company is going to dispute it."
"Horrible place to do business with. Shortly after I placed an order I received an email stating the ship to address didn't match the address on my credit card. I've been at the same address for years and never had a problem ordering online so I called and left a message to make sure she had my address correct. After getting no response for several days I sent a follow up email to which I later got a very rude response that said I needed to contact my bank b/c the address they had on file was a PO box (I've never had a po box). Well I checked w/ the bank to make sure my address was the same b/c I know sometimes thieves will change your address on file as part of identity theft scams, well the bank confirmed my address was correct. I exchanged several more emails with "patty" which were just rude and unproductive. Then I came here and saw they have a 2.5 six month rating. So I emailed them and canceled my order and placed an order w/ another business that had a 8 rating on here. My card was charged w/o issue at this other company (as it has for the past few years’ worth of online shopping I've done. Anyhow bottom line is... AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!"
"They are slow with updating their site to indicate what is and what is not in stock. Other than that, they're golden. Bottom line: Great prices, Great warranties, OK shipping, but in some cases you gotta call first to see what's in stock."

DO NOT BUY from these people, they are nonresponsive to emails and phone calls and they try to cheat you.I cancelled an order the day after I placed it, and they acted like they didnt get my multiple emails. These emails were sent a week before they shipped it to me. Now I have to pay to ship it back to them becuase they are saying it is my fault becuase the person who used to have that email address is no longer with the company. This is horse*&%@!Just go read how sketchy their return policy and contact information is. This will give you an idea what kind of company this is."
