1. No toll-free number, don't be mistaken by the one they have posted, it doesn't work. 2. No online support, again, its posted on their site but it doesn't work. 3. Expect to wait HOURS on long distance support calls if you need help. Also expect to be hung up on if they are too busy. 4. Expect errors in your order especially if you're buying a battery. They often include dean connectors instead of the Banana they claim to use. 5. Expect weeks to go by to correct an order with no response to emails. 6. Expect them not to care if they waste your time or money. They will never reimburse you for anything other than provide replacement parts at your shipping cost even if it was their mistake."
"Placed an order online from Hobbypartz (also runs RCDISCUSS.COM) for a Thunder AC6 lipo charger, 2 lipo batteries and 1 lipo storage bag. It was an $88 order. Free shipping was 3-7 days so I tried to upgrade to overnight shipping but it was $90 additional charge. I think that is a bit much for an $88 order. I stayed with the free shipping. Anyway, after 24 hours the order had not processed so I started looking into why it had not changed status. I found the RCdiscuss.com forum run by hobbypartz and found that many people were waiting on orders, getting the wrong items shipped, or incomplete orders shipped without being notified. So I tried calling the 866-888-6630 number listed on the hobbypartz website. The automated system hung up on me no matter what option I selected or even if I did not select any option. I asked on RCdiscuss how long it would take to process my order. I asked if the 3-7 day shipping was really 3-7 processing, then the items ship. I was contacted by Eric (Forum Support Member) that Hobbypartz was cancelling my order because I was questioning the 3-7 day shipping. I did not ask for the order to be cancelled, however Eric told me that they were cancelling the order due to the fact I was questioning my order not be processed??? That is crazy! Eric told me the number listed on the website was not a hobbypartz number yet he suggests other people on the forum use that phone number to place/check on orders. BEFORE YOU ORDER FROM HOBBYPARTZ CHECK RCDISCUSS.COM and see their customer service forum and how many people are upset. Hobbypartz also appears sell under the names, NitroRCX and NitroPlanes and RaidenTech according to their own RCDISCUSS.COM forum. Seems really strange to me to have 4 names when all the companies sell the same RC related items. "
"This company has a lot to learn about customer relations. I was banned from purchasing from them because I returned one defective product. A customer service rep claimed I had "excessive returns." I subsequently got the problem resolved after complaining to a couple forums and contacting a different customer service rep who was a bit more competent than the first. Hopefully it was an isolated incident, but I find the fact that this even happened somewhat disturbing. "

"I purchased the Exceed RC 6-Ch 2.4Ghz Transmitter w/ Receiver (Full Version) for RC Helicopters & Airplanes. I was a little skeptical that you could get something of any value for so cheap of a price. I was pleasantly surprised, and plan to put the radio in my electric trainer for my grandchildren. Programming it is a piece of cake with the on line tutorial. I think I will purchase another one for myself! jb"

"Because my billing and shipping address were different,my order was on hold and I wasn't contacted because they tried my billing address phone and not the shipping address phone,but after I called and straightened that out ,my order was received as promised,except I was not notified of one item that was out of stock until I received the order. I am happy with the quality of the parts that I have used and the pricing and shipping cost are hard to beat !! "

slow to ship, be prepared to spend days trying to get them to refund for a back ordered item!!!"
