I was banned from purchasing from them because I returned one defective product. A customer service rep claimed I had \u0022excessive returns.\u0022 I subsequently got the problem resolved after complaining to a couple forums and contacting a different customer service rep who was a bit more competent than the first. Hopefully it was an isolated incident, but I find the fact that this even happened somewhat disturbing. This site will take your money and then wait 4 days before requesting copies of your CC and Drivers License, before they will send your Item! I have been trying to get answers on the missing item for two weeks via \u0022live chat\u0022 and phone. I\u0027m missing one FlySky FS-GT3B Digital Receiver. The item is only worth $35 but the extra receivers I did receive are useless without the controller and time is running out for me to get things together before x-mass. The Toll free number does not work and the other number is mission impossible. Contact through \u0022Live Chat\u0022 is a waste of time. This was an easy fix but I\u0027m not willing to waste anymore time on this. Feel stupid for not checking Hobbypartz customer\u2019s reviews prior to making the order. They have very fast shipping, and good support as long as you use the forum rcdiscuss.com to report your issues. <br><br>For example, I\u0027ve had ESC\u0027s purchased go up in smoke on the first flight, and hobbypartz had a replacement in the mail the next day. This was because I had my order #, and photos of the ESC posted on RCDiscuss.<br><br>They don\u0027t get a 5 star rating though, and that has to do with two issues others have brought up.<br><br>#1: They do not respond quickly to email & phone inquiries. They have a live chat and phone # listed on their site, but they do not get back to you in a reasonable period of time. This may have to do with trying to save money on support staff to keep thin margins, but its a price you pay for low cost parts.<br><br>#2 They will keep items listed that haven\u0027t been in stock for months to years. It seems like some major problems in their supply chain, but the sites are full of items that seem to be perpetually out of stock. If something isn\u0027t going to be in stock for 3+ months, don\u0027t list it on the site guys.<br><br>When all is said and done, they are still the best place to get off\/chinese brand RC parts and models. Only merchant I could fine in the US that had this item priced this good out the door. I would buy here again with no reservations (as long as the part is in stock). The reviews on this site scared me but I had zero problems.
