"This is a terrible company do not believe anything they say. i fell for it close to two months. i never recieved any email for the first two weeks about the item being on back. they gave a good reason so i believed it. two weeks after that i sent another eamil and guess what they sent me the same email they sent two weeks ago." your item is back ordered and it will take two weeks again" i got mad here and sent them an email and told them i need a real person and this is where they told me the item is back and should recieve it in a week or so now according to them which is as of today they do not have not even and estimated time of arrival for this item. i am very upset. and i'll make sure every body knows about them. i will not recommend this company to anybody even if it was the last one left. And trust me this is not all and i'll not be able to finish. I just requested for my money back. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! YOU KNOW IT IS BAD WHEN THERE ARE 100'S OF PEOPLE GOING ONLINE SO OTHERS KNOW ABOUT THEM"

I am sorry your item was backordered from the factory. We offered you a full refund, an upgrade or to wait. You choose to wait. We do not control the production schedules of the companies that we sell for and we were very upfront with you on this situation. Again we are sorry this happened but we tried to resolve this for you. We have now fully refunded you as soon as you requested to be refunded. You are also correct that we have about 100 unhappy customers of 200,000+.

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I placed an order almost a year ago and still have not received all my products. I am missing a $70 that NEVER shipped and they said it was on backorder. How can something be on backorder this long? I called about the order and they hung up on me and blocked my number from calling! I guess thats why their grade is an F with the BBB. "

"Absolutely horrible customer service!! I ordered an amplifier on the 16th of March and have yet to receive it. After numerous emails and calls to customer service, I finally received a return email 3 weeks later telling me the item was on back order and should be in stock within 2 weeks or so. Is it just me or is someone's math a little off? So here it is a little over a month after I placed my order and still haven't received my item. At this point I don't even want it. Which I stated in my response to the email I received...which of course went unanswered. I am fed up with the so called 5-star customer service, and will be pursuing legal action.

Update: 4/20/2009 Amazingly I received a call back only 12 hours or so after posting this review. I was told they would process my refund today due to the fact that they can't find the item I ordered anywhere, however...they asked that I changed my review because it's important to them to have good reviews. I promptly told the guy that I shouldn't have had to post it in the first place, and that I would not change it... At which point he hung up on me....real winners over there. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Update: 5/5/09 I just saw your response Darren... if by notifying my right away, you mean you finally let me know once I was able to get in touch with you three weeks after my order you are correct. I did say I could wait, when I was told it would only be another two weeks. It was not. As of this date, I still have NOT received a refund!!

Update: May 22, 2009 12:00 p.m. Surprise, surprise!!! I have yet to receive a refund over two months after placing the order and almost a full month after that worm Darren posted a response on here saying I would. How about that five star customer service....what a f@cking joke!!!

Update: 22 May 2009 12:30pm I finally got someone one phone!! I spoke to a very nice gentleman by the name of Jay, and he informed me that my order was never turned over to the refund dept. and that he would be happy to handle that for me, and I should see a refund within a week. Thank you Jay for being the only apparent bright spot at that miserable company.

Update Jun 2, 2009: Well looks like Jay let me down as well!! I never received my refund. I did however receive the wrong amp! Of course I can't get anyone on the phone to see about returning it!

Update Aug 12th: Well I finally got in touch with someone about returning the wrong merchandise. I sent it back, making sure to get a confirmation notice so they couldn't pull the "we never got it trick" and surprise, surprise....still no refund!!! I tried calling them several times with no luck. Finally I left a message which of course was a waste of time. Now...not only have I yet to receive a call back, email or anything else...their d@mn voice mail box is full. Imagine that!!! I say again....do not order from this company....you'll regret it!!!"

Then you called back again a week later and wanted a refund which we gave to you. Again I am sorry the amplifier was not in stock.

"I STRONGLY URGE EVERYONE NOT TO ORDER FROM HI-FI SOUND CONNECTION.
On Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 at 2:27pm I placed an order for an amplifier. The next day, at 6pm, I emailed Darren requesting a tracking number, as his website indicates that most items ship the same day, or next day, and I hadn't received any communication from him other than a notification that my credit card had been charged. September 10th, at 9:26am, he responded that my item would ship that day, and that he would email me a tracking number as soon as he had it. That same night, at 11pm, I still hadn't heard from him, so I once again requested my tracking number, so I could make sure to be at my office when the package was scheduled to arrive. At 9:42 the next morning, Darren emailed me that the item was actually on back order, and I could either wait until the item returns to stock or get store credit and purchase something else. He also sent me links to refurbished products that he does have in stock. I know the product I want, and I know it's available immediately elsewhere, and since it does not say anywhere on his site that he doesn't provide refunds, I responded that I would like my money back instead. He did not respond to this request directly; he instead emailed me a copy of the UPS Billing Information Received Notification on Friday night, which indicates my tracking number for when my item will ship sometime in the indeterminate future. I wrote back that same night that was not a satisfactory response, and I would instead like a refund. Even though they are open on Saturdays, I have had no response. I am sending him another email today to let him know if I don't receive response by the end of business on Monday that he will be issuing me a refund, I will have no choice but to file a chargeback with my bank due to his misrepresentation of his product availability, blatant bait-and-switch attempt, and unwillingness to refund me money which he got under false pretenses. In the meantime, I urge everyone to spend their money elsewhere. Spend a little more upfront and save yourself the hassle I've experienced.

UPDATE: Well my amp arrived today. Regardless, This company is awful and you should stay away! Just look at the forums here and search the company name on google; tons and tons of negatives awful stories. You might end up with an okay deal from this operation if you want refurb kicker gear, but seriously, buy it elsewhere."

"Super duper quadruple horrible customer service. If you ever RMA anything to them, they will delay it for weeks and lie to you about shipping date. If you want better service I suggest you order elsewhere because these guys will treat you like crap. Stay away."

"Worst online experience I have ever had. I ordered a JL amp and the item was back ordered. But they did not tell me it was back ordered until I wrote an e-mail a week later asking why they had not sent out my item. They then tried to get me to purchase some other refurbished items that I did not want. I asked for a refund, at first they would not give it to me. I then told them I would get a lawyer involved if I had to. They agreed to give me a refund, but they still didn't do it for 2 weeks. So I had to go back through paypal to get my refund that they had already promised me 2 weeks prior. Then that had the nerve to send me an e-mail to tell me I should not have wasted my time sending them e-mails asking for my refund after they told me they would give it to me. Come on, it had been 2 weeks already. DO NOT BUY from this comapny."

You refund was issued right away but it did not show up on your CC billing statement for 2 weeks as you state. This is beyond our control. This review should be left for your CC company not us. "I ordered a pair of 4x6's, a pair of 6x9's, a 12 inch subwoofer, a box for the subwoofer, and a pair of boxes for the 6x9's. I ordered these items from HiFi Sound Connection after my friends had nothing but good things to say about this company. The original scheduled date for my shipment to arrive was October 23rd. UPS verified FOUR boxes were being shipped. My shipment then got rescheduled to October 28th and only TWO boxes arrived. I received the enclosures for my subwoofer and my 6x9's (and by "my" I mean the items I PAID FOR, but have not received). After calling the company to see what the deal was, they informed me that they were restocking their warehouse and hadn't gotten around to finding my speakers amidst the "mess" yet. After our conversation, I called back, reminded the customer service rep who I was, and informed her I wanted to cancel my order. She hung up on me. WITHOUT A WORD. I tried calling back and my number was blocked. I then called from my cell phone, got through, but was hung up on again. That number is blocked as well now. I don't know what century these people are from or what their notion of "good business" is, but I absolutely refuse to ever do business with these people again unless they show me some form of interest in my business as their CUSTOMER. They have my money and I have nothing to show for it except for a couple enclosures that are useless because they have no speakers in them. If they don't answer my emails soon I will be canceling the charge on my credit card and reporting them to the BBB. This is unacceptable. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY."

"Ordered $600.00 worth of marine audio equipment. Kicker Tower speakers did not work. When I contacted the store, they said they would refund my money minus a large restocking fee. Contrary to their store ad, they refused to exhange the speakers and said I needed to contact Kicker. I drove up to Missouri and found the Superstore location. A mailbox at a UPS store. I left negative feedback at Ebay and received a note from the store saying they MAY help me if I remove the negative feedback. I would rather just work with Kicker and not have any further dealings with these cheats. I wonder how many customers they screw with these restocking fees. Probably resell the same bad equipment."

"Terrible service! I will never purchase anything from them and I would highly urge anyone thinking of buying from them to steer clear. They are un-professional and have failed to rectify my order problems. I ordered a factory refurbished stereo that was bad right out of the box. They will not give me a refund. They offer me a store credit, yet fail to give me any product that I request. They either do not have the product to sell or they are just totally avoiding me. I believe it is both! Check out their website. They advertise all of the major brands, yet they have not one model available to purchase. Check it out for yourself. They are a total joke and I will gladly help assemble a class action lawsuit with anyone else who has been screwed. I will continue to spread the word on their poor service. We all work hard for our money and I am not about to walk away from my $153.00 that they owe me. I will make certain that they can no longer take people's money and not deliver the product. They should be banned of the internet!
