I am very sorry that the product arrived in that condition for you. Please be aware we are not the manufacturer of this product, nor are we the ones who refurbish it. We get these products directly from the manufacturer pre-boxed and ship them out to you. We can understand that sometimes the manufacturer may make a mistake in sending something out to us. As these are refurbished units they can come with some cosmetic defects, but should be in 100% working condition.

Not impressed, at all, with the quality of \u0022refurbished\u0022 items. I ordered a KX300.1 amp and when i received it i noticed that it honestly looks like it just came out of somebody\u0027s car. Item is very dusty (which is not good for electronics) and vents on top are bent and rusted (sign of water, also not good for electronics). Also i opened the case of the amp to verify the integrity of the electronics and I can see black suit on the lid (as if something has blown up inside the amp) I am just very dissatisfied with the quality of products that they are sending out and have not been able to hook up yet so i can only pray that this item works<br><br>added @ 12:51: Chris, thank you for you\u0027re concern. I did not post this review to \u0022put you guys down\u0022 but instead to inform the next customer of the possible condition. The description on the product was unclear on the condition or possibility of blemishes. Also, the factory package was opened and my other item was placed in the same box, so i believe somebody from you\u0027re company did see the front of the amp and, in fact, laid another product on the said damaged area of the casing. I am not interested in returning or anything of that nature due to the possible loss in monetary value and i can repair the damages. I placed the order, but when the stereo arrived, I found that it was not even remotely the correct stereo (it was a tape player radio for an Acura, I ordered a stereo with CD changer and climate control for my Subaru). I contacted HiFi to let them know of the error and to try to get the right part. <br><br>The first person I spoke with (Ray) was rude and not helpful. They were so generous to finally waive the 20% restocking fee after I complained about being financially responsible for their error. All I wanted was a return label so I didn\u0027t have to pay shipping. They were out of the stereo I needed, so they finally agreed to a refund and said they didn\u0027t need the wrong part back. <br><br>After nearly a month, still no refund. I called again and the second person I spoke with (Eric) was very helpful; he confirmed that the refund did not go through. At this point, I noticed that the stereo I needed was back in stock and he personally went to the warehouse, located it, correctly identified it, and it arrived a few days later. I\u0027ll be installing it this weekend. It arrived in decent condition (it is nearly 6 years old so not mint but certainly acceptable) and at this point I feel as though the company has rectified the situation.
