"I have a very bad experience with headroom. I returned an order and the return was delivered to headroom two weeks ago. According to their website, "Most refunds are handled within one week of us receiving the product ...; the vast majority of refunds are processed within 10 business days of ... However, ...refunds may legally be processed anytime within 30 days..."

I have not got any refund yet, so I emailed them, and the response was the same, "refunds may legally be processed anytime within 30 days...", and the response was written in a not so friendly way. I understand that maybe by law they don't have to refund me until 30 days later, but many other companies , such as Amazon, Bestbuy, JR, always refund within 2 -3 days with a maximum of 7 days based on my and my friend's experiences. Headroom definitely sucks compared to the competitors in terms of price, customer service and return/refund. I would be very hesitant to shop at headroom in future. "

“We regret this customer had a negative experience at our store. As stated on our website, the vast majority of refunds are indeed processed within 7 days even though the law clearly indicates anytime within 30 days is an acceptable range. Occasionally, we do experience some delays that could be due to a prolonged processing time of returned products or unusual extensions in conducting the return procedure. However, this situation is rare, and as a small business we pride ourselves on upholding the standards of large-scale ecommerce providers while still providing a personalized, high quality shopping experience unique to a boutique retailer.”

"The only issue that I had with HeadRoom, was that when i ordered my headphones they were out of stock, even though on the website it said that they were in stock. So, I had to wait longer then expected to get my headphones. Although when i called coustomer support, they people on the phone were very kind, proffesional, and helped me with the problems and questions that i had. "

"I have to say that it is a pleasure doing business with this company! They are prompt with shipping and service alike. Even when needing to return a product, their customer service was amazing, offering to drop ship a new product with a return label for the defective one. Who does that anymore?

I will definitely be ordering from them again! Other companies should take a look at this company as an example of how customers should be treated.

"I have been an audio enthusiast since hearing the sound quality of a "reel to reel" tape. I lived through the times of turn tables and tone arms, and appreciated the difference that a $200 dollar stylus made. I prefer silence, to the sound of poorly recreated music, so to say the least I am picky about headphones. But my prefernce in what I "hear" from the music is different from others. This is where the staff of HeadRoom shines; they will take the time to listen to you and help analyze your preferences, then match up the headphones that will best meet your preferences. I've also learned the benefits of a dedicated headphone amp with the help of the staff at HeadRoom. More then one friend has been converted to enjoying headsets versus speakers after listening to the sounds from my headphones. The return policy is easy though I've never had to utilize it. Prices are acceptible but what I'm paying for the most, is the staff and support. Lol I left a msg on their recorder and that same day had two different CSR's return my call. It's very easy to recommend HeadRoom due to their product range, product support and outstanding staff."

"My emails with questions were answered very quickly and when I did place my order I received free overnight shipping due to the price of the product I ordered. Great overall."

"I ordered a Denon AH-NC800 noise-canceling headphone from this stored which claimed a 2-4 weeks delivery. One day after the order I received an email from customer service notifying me that the product was back-ordered and would be shipped within one week. Week goes by and nothing, I decided to contacted them and customer services informed me they would call in 15 minutes with a status. 30 minutes goes by and nothing. I call again and same person promised to call me. Well she never does. After a couple of days more I send very upset email to every single contact on the website. Next day they informed me that product is no longer available and they do not know when it will be so the order was cancelled. I wish they had told me before. I had to give my husband on his birthday a printed copy of what one day I will give him..."

“The product ordered became unavailable unexpectedly from the manufacturer. We notified the customer of this unforeseen change of availability, and offered a generous incentive on a replacement product. At last correspondence, the customer acknowledged our offer and indicated that they were thinking about it and would get back to us. We were disappointed to receive an unfavorable review, as we made every attempt to rectify an unfortunate situation that was out of our control.”

"In my experience HeadRoom is a high-quality, completely trustworthy company. The website is a trove of information, their own products are excellent, they fill orders right away, and their customer service responds to questions quickly. I've been very happy with all my purchases, including most recent, a HeadRoom Desktop Amp/DAC. I wouldn't shop anywhere else for headphones or related gear."
