"Do not use groupon. I purchased a groupon for my sister in law. It was for a hair salon. The fine print said that it was only for first time clients . I was not aware my sister in law had been to this establishment til it was too late. I contacted groupon and asked for a refund or exchange and they were very dismissive and did not take into consideration the fact was a gift. I think they could have at least allowed me to exchange it. I will never use groupon again. They have do not provide good costumer service ."

"I strongly recommend NOT to make deals in Groupon which could be sent by DHL. Not reliable at all. 11 days have past since I bought an item, it arrived to the city 5 days ago, DHL missent it and now they guess it may take 7 more to be delivered. In all it could be 18 days! Unbelievable! Whether DHL or Groupon responsability, that's for them to find out. Customers, stand back! "

"Not sure why Groupon have such low rating but I am very happy with almost all the Groupon purchases for years... Yes their fine prints and some other policy can be a bit confusing at first but you just have to read the policy and make sure you can use it before they expire.

Other than that, I have never experience any unresolve issue with them. Call and email them multiples times for different problems and the representative were pretty helpful. My issues was always resolved

""DO NOT BUY FROM THEM".They advertised Beats By Dre wireless for one price. When I received them they were the wired ones. When I attempted to contact them by email several times and once by phone they changed the wording on the webpage. They said after I received my refund they'd see what they could do. Ended up having to buy them somewhere else. They are a deceptive company and I will make sure EVERYBODY I know does not buy from them."

"groupon is a scam. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING UNLESS YOURE GOING TO USE IT IMMEDIATELY. horrible customer support and each person will tell you something different until you get extremely confused and just give up. they refused to give me a refund for a small amount even though a customer support representative had said she will give me a refund. once they receive their money they don't care about anything else and that's exactly how the company is still making money. horrible is an understatement for the service I've been getting the past week. WARNING DO NOT BUY ANY DEALS "

Beware of Griupon!!! All is fine, when all goes fine but when a problem comes up!!! Griouoon agreed to refund me only when I have an email from the ciompany stating they have received the goods back. I phoned the company and the said Groupon were well aware through paperwork that they were in possession of their goods but Groupon still refused a refund until they were ready to refund ! Three weeks down the line im still waiting for a refund of £175'00. How do they get away with this????

"I guess their ratings tell the whole story, .42 out of a possible 10!
If you have puchased a Groupon and have never had a problem then you might wonder what is so terrible about this company.
The fact is that until you have an issue with your purchase everything seems fine, but if there is a problem, then you are in for a total nightmare with their customer service (or should I say
no-service). They will do everything but try and solve the issue.
I was unable to find a phone number to contact their support so all I could do was email them. First off, their customer service is in another country, India I believe. They will tell you how "sorry they are for your inconvience" and then proceed to jerk you around for weeks and tell you that they have taken care of your problem, until you find out several weeks later was a lie. I have had issues with them on 3 different occasions and each time it was a major hassle to get it resolved, which should have been handled in a few minutes. THIS IS A DIRTBAG COMPANY, READ THE REVIEWS!!!

"Groupon was awesome until they have a 3 week shipping policy who does this anymore. I ordered a garmin virb camera 2vweeks ago, and It just shipped snail mail. It says it's going to be another week or so until I get it. I knew I should have ordered the one on amazon. It was 10.00 more, but I would have had it in 3-5 business days. "

"I ordered a Samsung smart watch in rose gold and after 20 days I received the wrong color. I returned it immediately but they say they will reimburse me 2/3 weeks after they receive the watch... I just got an email stating that my return is on it's way?? I sent it a week ago!! and customer service just replies with the same answer, I will be reimbursed 2/3 weeks after they receive the merchandise... I will never shop there again. Most merchants reimburse you immediately for any reason... this is ridiculous. "

"Beyond awful is the most polite reference I can use for Groupon Customer Service.
I ordered a pair of head phones, on 11/28/14 (stated delivery was 7 days), the site showed shipped via DHL on 11/30/14 and gave a tracking number; albeit a completely bogus tracking number come to find out. The headphones were supposed to be a Christmas gift, so 1 month lead time should have sufficed but when I failed to see anything in the mail, I contacted Groupon on 12/19/14 whereby the representative stated, "we have had this issue for some time and have been trying to get it fixed. Call back on Tuesday to get an update”; I reminded her Tuesday was two days before Christmas and that this was a Christmas present. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to Tom. Tom apparently knew less than the representative, but I did ask that if they knew about this problem for some time, why was it me, the customer that had to reach out to Groupon to get an update ... he said nothing. He offered me a refund whereby I told him that is not an option since I had printed the card that was offered when the on-line purchase was made and already gave it as a Christmas gift ... that I'd look ridiculous telling the person 9my daughter) they will not be getting the headphones. I called back on Tuesday as instructed, got a different rep but the same "I don't know, I don't care" response/attitude. This time I asked to speak to a manager, NOT a supervisor but knew deep down they'd give me a Superior ... enters Kevin, the Supervisor. He again repeated everything I have heard a dozen times before and when I insisted to talk to his manager, Kevin stated his manager doesn't talk to customers. I couldn't believe he would actually say that so I repeated what he had said and he reiterated, "I told you everything there is to say, the manager isn't available to talk ... he doesn't talk to customers." And yes, I asked a third time and Kevin was consistent with what he told me about the manager not talking to customers. Kevin became very curt (almost as if I were annoying him) and said I would have to write to his manager if I wanted to speak to him. In short, a month waiting on a gift that Groupon was to deliver in 7 days, they knew they issues with shipping but gave no notice to customers , no follow up from Groupon on my first inquiry, no indication of a resolution date or if they are even really trying to resolve the issue (after all, it's been a month). I will indeed write to "Justin S." (the name Kevin gave me stating that's all the name he would give) at 600 W. Chicago Av., Suite 400, Chicago, IL 60654 and express my total dissatisfaction with Groupon but once this issue is resolved, I will not be doing business with Groupon again.

"Terrible experience with groupon goods. Ordered a pair of scarf sandals and received a cheap pair of flipflops... with no scarf- completely wrong shoes. Took 5 days to get an email response with them asking me to send pictures! Then another 4 days later saying they are sorry and I could return them. Received a 2nd package today- ordered a dolman shirt. It has 2 stains on the back that look like grease or oil stains. No tags on the shirt either. Have emailed them but doubt i will get a response. now have to deal with the trouble of mailing these back. CS takes days to weeks if they respond at all...."

"Bought an item, came in the wrapper that said XL, but inside the sweater was M. I sent back and said that I wanted an exchange. a week later they said they were processing it and it would take another week for my refund which I did not want. Advised of refund which will take another week. I tried calling them, there was a 40-60 minute wait which means they have about 25% of the staff they should for customer support. I am so done with them."

"wanted to give a DSLR camera to my kid's BD as a gift. Just before ordering, groupon sent me "15% off" coupon code. OK than, the Nikon D3300 with 2 lenses, total was $477 with their code. Paid in full, order placed. Next 2 weeks their web was showing "awaiting fulfilment" and saying that "more than 150" cameras like that were sold. OK, contacted grpn support - keep waiting! Finally, they e-mailed me FedEx tracking code - that code was never ever updated: the parcel never left the NJ facility. Was it just a fake to screw me up? Indeed, they never shipped the camera out, but never admitted that (I phoned and e-mailed grpn support for next 3 weeks), they never tried to track it or send another one. After I promised to sue, they finally offered refund... and it is going to take UP TO 10 business days before I see it back to my account! Go Amazon or enywhere else, let grpn specialize in selling XXX toys (who is going to complain openly if a dildo is not delivered? Nice business idea, Grpn, now you can screw up more and more buyers!!)"
