"Terrible experience with groupon goods. Ordered a pair of scarf sandals and received a cheap pair of flipflops... with no scarf- completely wrong shoes. Took 5 days to get an email response with them asking me to send pictures! Then another 4 days later saying they are sorry and I could return them. Received a 2nd package today- ordered a dolman shirt. It has 2 stains on the back that look like grease or oil stains. No tags on the shirt either. Have emailed them but doubt i will get a response. now have to deal with the trouble of mailing these back. CS takes days to weeks if they respond at all...."

"Bought an item, came in the wrapper that said XL, but inside the sweater was M. I sent back and said that I wanted an exchange. a week later they said they were processing it and it would take another week for my refund which I did not want. Advised of refund which will take another week. I tried calling them, there was a 40-60 minute wait which means they have about 25% of the staff they should for customer support. I am so done with them."

"wanted to give a DSLR camera to my kid's BD as a gift. Just before ordering, groupon sent me "15% off" coupon code. OK than, the Nikon D3300 with 2 lenses, total was $477 with their code. Paid in full, order placed. Next 2 weeks their web was showing "awaiting fulfilment" and saying that "more than 150" cameras like that were sold. OK, contacted grpn support - keep waiting! Finally, they e-mailed me FedEx tracking code - that code was never ever updated: the parcel never left the NJ facility. Was it just a fake to screw me up? Indeed, they never shipped the camera out, but never admitted that (I phoned and e-mailed grpn support for next 3 weeks), they never tried to track it or send another one. After I promised to sue, they finally offered refund... and it is going to take UP TO 10 business days before I see it back to my account! Go Amazon or enywhere else, let grpn specialize in selling XXX toys (who is going to complain openly if a dildo is not delivered? Nice business idea, Grpn, now you can screw up more and more buyers!!)"

I cannot use an expired coupon, but they will not issue a refund and act like they are doing a favor to issue a 50% refund for Groupon bucks yet, so I would have to spend it with them. "I was a happy Groupon customer for years and never had any issues with orders. I bought a deal for a self inking stamp and it clearly stated in the fine print that shipping was included. When I went to redeem it, the merchant was charging me for shipping - a charge that was basically 1/4 of the deal price. Not acceptable.

I emailed the merchant and they replied days later saying that shipping was not included. Funny, because when I entered my Groupon code on the merchant site, it said Groupon Free Shipping Coupon. On THEIR site. After some back and forth with the merchant, I emailed Groupon to ask for a refund because the merchant didn't live up to their end of the bargain.

Here's where Groupon lost me as a customer. For one, they updated their fine print to now say shipping was extra. The rep even told me that the fine print had been update a couple of days before they received my complaint. So of course they said shipping was extra now and that free shipping was never included in the deal. I showed them SCREENSHOTS of where it said free shipping. No no, shipping is not included. So I ask for a full refund. Groupon kept making excuses as to why they couldn't refund my money. I'm talking about weeks worth of back and forth. Finally I just called my credit card company and voided the transaction and informed Groupon that I didn't care anymore and they could deal with my credit card company. Groupon responds with a credit to my account of Groupon Bucks. Useless Groupon Bucks. I told them that I already received my money back from my credit card company and I didn't require any credits from them to which this moron responded that I should have contacted Groupon first before calling my credit card company to void the payment. This is nearly 1 month into my dispute with Groupon and they're telling me I should have given them a chance to resolve my issue.

There are a couple of parting notes here. One, if you are not a happy customer, you will never get your money back. You will get a credit. This is fine if you plan on buying more deals, but not good when you spend a lot of money for something and instead of getting your money back, you get a store credit. Secondly, Groupon has outsourced their support to India, and it was readily apparent that these people don't speak English very well nor do they work in the customer's best interest. You also work with random people after each reply, there's not ONE person dealing with you. So each new person dealt with my issue without having any background and it was like starting 25 new conversations and getting nowhere.

I have to say, I'm glad I went through my experience because it alerted me to the many flaws in this system. Groupon won't last very long with these practices and I'll do my part to make sure people are aware of the risks. Farewell Groupon.

"Great deals are as promised but their delivery promise is totally false. The products take at least a month after the order date for receiving. So, if you want the product fast Groupon is not the place to get it...however if you are patient with the very long delivery and the lack of response to customer inquire then order away.

Hence the word MOST ORDERS are 12 days to be delivered..I have ordered 10 products in the past but not one of those orders came before 20 days... totally misleading!!!!

"DO NOT BUY GOODS FROM GROUPON. THEY ARE SLOW TO SHIP AND THEY MAKE RETURNS IMPOSSIBLE EVEN WHEN THERE IS A LEGIT REASON FOR A RETURN! Ordered a Vigilant Rainbow "Smart" toothbrush that was supposed to communicate with my android phone and help teach my daughter to brush her teeth well. My Vigilant Rainbow, did not work with either of my phones. Groupon fine print says it is returnable if defective but system does not let you print a label for return. Customer service not responsive. I just wasted $30 on a cheap quality brush toothbrush that does nothing. "

"I purchased a compression shirt in Oct 2014, waited forever for it to arrive and it finally did in about a month. The shirt was nice and the correct size so I ordered another one and after 3 weeks or so it finally arrived. I had ordered an XL size and they send medium. So I went to their website and you have to hunt forever to find a phone number to call, and finally got a hold of them. They told me to click on the return button on the website and I would get return information.
So I got off the phone with them and clicked return and got the message "This is a sale item and cannot be returned"
So I had to call them again (wait time 50-60 minutes), and they said, "oh Sorry", we'll contact you by email on how to return it. I've been waiting for the email.

This is a a terrible company with the worst customer service imaginable, I hope reviews like this will expedite them going out of business

"I ordered 2 makeup brush sets, 2 months later and still no sign of goods! I am sick to death of being passed from pillar to post without receiving any answers as to the whereabouts of my items. All I keep getting told is please be patient! They refuse to answer any questions about where my goods are, why there has been such a delay etc. They do nothing except tell me to be patient, which two months down the line is ridiculous! Cannot get any answers at all. Their customer service or lack there of is an absolute joke. I would recommend people avoid this company at all costs."

"I ordered my item in either late October or early November and it has still not arrived yet. I'm so glad I tested the waters first before ordering something important.

My friend is also having an issue with her order and it was canceled by them saying her item is no longer in stock. They waited a month and a half to tell her that? Ridiculous.

Unless they change their system and hire new employees, don't purchase goods from them, ever as it will take you 1-2 months to receive it IF that.

"I AGREE! This is the worst online retailer that I have dealt with!
If you order from them it takes forever to get your item and there is no information provided about when your item will arrive or why you have not heard anything from them for over a week! Customer service is non-existent. This goes for groupon.com and groupongoods.com, same company, same crappy service. I WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

"Avoid! Groupon is by far the worst online store in the history of the internet.

It will take you well over a month to receive your product, and their customer service has to be in West Virginia because everyone seems miserable.

Do yourself a favor and use eBay or other comparable sites.

"i order a case for my macbook pro and when i received it the product and two other case i thought they was going to be in the same box when i order it but it didn't they send me a big box where they could put all my orders in one. also when i received the case the top fit but the bottom keep falling off i ask if i could get a refund she told me no.. so i will not be doing any business with this company again. "
