Excellent response

"I ordered a Groupon for FTD and went to make a purchase and found out that their delivery charge was $26.95 and did not order the product. I immediately went back to Groupon about 15 to 20 minutes after the purchase and requested a cancellation which they did right away - No questions asked. "

Groupon is Right on!

"Bought a groupon for some food at a local restaurant yesterday. After the purchase I noticed I forgotten to enter the promo code that saved 20% on the overall deal. Groupon gladly refunded the money back within 10 minutes so I could repurchase the deal again. Always great customer service with these people. Thanks Groupon!"

Great Customer Service

"Had a problem with two accounts and it was solved in a blink of an eye. Had to return a pair of jeans because they did not fit and received my money back super fast. I also kept the jeans because Groupon did not want them back. I have bought tickets for events from Groupon and have never been disappointed. "

Refund? Not likely

"I purchased a horseback ride with a stable that did not respond to my call to book the ride for over a week. I had to schedule with a different company. Groupon wouldn't refund my money but gave me "Groupon Bucks". This is not satisfactory since the merchant could not produce the ride. I'm not ever purchasing from them again as I did in the past. This was not due to my error and I believe Groupon should make it right."

"I bought a hand painting and I didn't realize that they charge me for 2 paintings instead of just one. When I called support to cancel the second one they said they could not cancel it anymore because I was past the 2 hr window for cancellation. How can I cancel when I only order for one and get charge for two instead and now they have no idea how to cancel the other one coz they don't have any contact information on the merchant. They said to wait for the 2 items to arrive and just to resend the other item. Ridiculous! It doesn't make sense! I hope they will give me a full refund! I don't see any reason why they can't cancel the second one instead of waiting and resenting the item that I don't need. "

Excellent Service!

"I have purchased and used several Groupon deals. I had a problem when attempting to redeem one of them while on vacation. The business was closed for renovation. I emailed Groupon and received an apology and refund within 15 minutes. I will definitely continue to use them; a great way to explore new places and old favorites!"

Groupon sold me a deal for a non existent company

"I brought a house cleaning groupon. After buying it, I tried calling the company to book a time for cleaning my house. The phone number and the company website details provided in my voucher didn't work. Upon further googling, I found that the there is no such company (www.clearanassist.com).

Then I asked Groupon for a refund. Groupon, instead of issuing me a refund; issued me Groupon bucks which I had to use in 3 months.

I then had to chase Groupon support center again to request them to issue me credit card refund as I had no plans to make use of Groupon bucks in next 3 months.

Overall, it was a pathetic experience

"Groupon.......more like conon!! Take your money ! Fail to uphold brought item , managers can't contact us , clueless staff at call centre , won't refund .

"I always find the best deals on Groupon. I have purchased massages, event tickets, and cosmetic procedures. When I mistakenly lost my printed copy of a purchased Groupon, I contacted customer support and I was able to print a new one within minutes. I was so relieved that I had not wasted my money. Thank you, Groupon"

"I purchased a handsfree for my car but when I got it and tried it, the sound when you talk is very static you couldn't hear the person you were talking to or they could not hear you. If my car was turned off, it worked fine but the minute my car was turned on, pure static is all you heard. I contacted Groupon and they promptly sent me a return label. I am not too sure if I will get my money back or not, I hope so, at least Groupon credit. I buy several things on Groupon, usually with no problems but this one was not a good purchase. "

In The Dog House

"I bought a Groupon for a Dog Boarding Hotel for $120.00. I did not read it completely and when I went to use it I saw it was for "new clients only". I had used the facility many times. I e-mailed Customer Support with my story and they generously credited my account for the full amount.

I could not be more satisfied with the help I received.

No refund but groupon bucks instead

"I bought a groupon and after struggling to make an appt with the venue I decided I wanted a refund. Since it gad been a few weeks, groupon refunded me but it wasn't really a refund, it was just a crest to my groupon account. So I guess that will work for now. Still very prompt and I am likely To buy something from groupon in the future anyway so this works but I would rather have had my money back. "

Great Customer Service

"I contacted Groupon after a few weeks had went by and one of the items that I ordered had a "preparing for shipping message". They contacted me back within 24 hours and I received a full refund with no problem. I was a bit skeptical because of all the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised about the quick response I received from them and then my refund just a few days later. I will certainly shop with them again."
