"called gopher mods on friday 5pm about cracked iphone 4, got a support email address. sent an email. The owner replied, said he could come in on saturday for me. didn't charge me extra for him coming in on sat...and I watched him repair it. I'd have to rate it two thumbs up. He's honest and he apparently cares about the customer and the service he provides."

"I'm very impressed with Gophermods efficiency; mine was a pain-free experience. They received my PS3 on Friday PM and shipped it back to me next business day, Monday around noon.

"I had the Yellow Light of Death on my PS3 shortly after the mandatory 3.15 firmware update and I was devastated. I was reading about my options and it seemed like sending my 60 gig unit (upgraded to 300 gig) back to Sony would risk getting a refurbished item or the trade for a PS3 Slim and still cost between $130-200. Considering I had over $100 worth in downloaded content, over 400 trophies, and my copy of Modern Warfare 2 still in the disc drive, I looked to other alternatives and found Gopher Mods. Needless to say, sending an item with such high monetary and sentimental value to a third party is a bit nerve wrecking, but I was impressed by the services rendered. My PS3 was received, serviced, and sent on its way back within 36 hours. The bulk of my waiting time was the shipping to and from their facility all the way to Los Angeles. I would definitely reccomend this company to others whom have experienced issues with their PS3. One or two gripes though, I had purchased a prepaid shipping label and when I went to FedEx they said there was some issue with the account so I held on to my package until I heard back from the company owner a few days later when the issue was resolved. Also I wasn't able to reach a customer service rep on the phone because there was some issue with their phones. Instead, my voicemail was responded to by email. Aside from what I hope is a temporary issue on the part of the company, I would still refer anyone with a PS3 issue to them."

i sent in PS3 and recd email next day claiming "We received your console the previous business day, thanks for sending it in. I am sending you a quick update about your console. After the initial reflow repair process, your console exhibited the same reoccurring issue. We are going to attempt a 2nd run through a different machine with a more aggressive repair process. The 2 nd run through takes the consoles motherboard through a more rigorous reflow process and we are hoping to see some better results. The 2nd reflow process often has a 50% success rate for bringing back consoles from the initial 5% that typically do not work on the first run through.
Just wanted to keep you updated, and let you know there will be slight delays with your console. I’ll keep you updated as soon as we are finished"
Couple days later i received my PS3 back, no paperwork with it, but still wouldnt work....no explanation or anything. Emailed the Company asking for an explanation but have not received an answer.....

"Great PS3 Repair Company, they fixed my broken PlayStation 3 that has the Yellow Light of Death. They truly did fix it and reship it back out within 24 hours, which was a huge plus!
Sony wanted 3-5 weeks, $150 just to do the same thing that they only charge $59 for!
There was great communication, nice customer service, and excellent handling of the whole process!
"I sent my Wii to Gophermods to fix the disc read error. They tell me that it is fixed and has been since Monday (now it's Friday), but have not shipped it out to me yet. I even offered to drive there to pick it up myself. When I contacted them to tell them that I would rather pick my Wii up, they tell me that they just took it to Fed Ex. I haven't recieved a shpping confirmation e-mail. They seem nice enough when you talk to them, just don't believe their 24 hour turn around statement."
"I don't know about you, but it's pretty scary sending one of your favorite toys off to some unknown business for repair. The PS3 is certainly an expensive high-tech device but that's not it. It's the hundreds and hundreds of hours of hard-earned levels, awards, ... saved on the hard disk drive. Will it all come back with the PS3? Will they break the system worse than it's already broken?
Once past this, one starts to think about how long it'll take and what it'll really cost. "Oh, sorry sir, we found something else wrong that'll cost you an extra hundred bucks."

"Casey at GopherMods was great to work with. My son has an XBox 360 that had the red rings of death. I sent it to GopherMods and they repaired it and sent it back. After 2 months the red rings were back. Casey said that the XBox 360 has so many inherent problems with it that he couldn't guarantee that if he fixed it again that I wouldn't get the red rings again and so offered me two options. 1.) He would either give me a full refund or 2.) I could send it back and they would fix it again and give me a 25% refund of my original money but couldn't guarantee it. I took the full refund which he promptly did and didn't even deduct the amount he paid for shipping. Casey was great to work with; just wish more businesses/people that I deal with operated more like GopherMods. "
