"The online purchase went smoothly from start to finish. The web site was very easy to use and provided a lot more info on the item (a digital camera) than most of the other sites that I looked at. The order was placed without a hitch and was shipped on the same day. I had the item 3 days later via UPS ground service. I was able to easily track the item through the website or using the UPS tracking #. The price was not the lowest that I could find but most of the sites with lower prices had very poor customer satisfaction ratings. Overall I am very happy with the transaction and would definatly look at Goodguys the next time I need something."

"Purchased 27" TV. All went well. Got 10% discount.. no tax, no shipping. I hadn't read the negative feedback here prior to ordering.. which might have affected my decision.. In any event, they confirmed my order within hours, shipped within three business days, as promised.. Had the product in 7 days.. Good deal."

"Very pleased with my online purchase. With 10% discount, the price for the Olympus C-50 Zoom 5MP digital camera was well below local retailers, even the Good Guys stores themselves. As an added bonus I didn't pay sales tax or shipping. I figure my total savings over a local retailer was $100. On the down side, they don't take online purchase returns through their local stores, but so far no problems with the product.

I first ordered this camera through the horrible digitalliquidators.com, then checked here to read about the horror stories. I immediately cancelled that order and am glad I did. My purchase through Good Guys was a breeze."

"I had checked their rating here prior to purchasing and was a little aprehensive to order thru them but the camera (Canon EOS 10D) was very hard to find ANYWHERE so when I saw they had the camera "in stock" I decided to give them a try. The rep who took my order "Jamie", said they had (12) units in stock when I placed my order and although they were going fast, he thought I had a pretty good chance of getting one. Well he was exactly right, I placed my order on a Wednesday, it shipped out on the following Monday and I received it on Thursday. Free shipping, no sales tax and I received a $100.00 instant coupon at the time of order.

"Excellent Price for a projection TV with NO SHIPPING Charge! Correct product was shipped and had no defects. I would used them again.

Three things you need to know however:
1) They will charge you tax if you live in a state that has CompUSA Store (see http://www.thegoodguys.com/compusa.asp?refer=pcusa1nav)
2) Checking your shippment through con-way doesn't work if you just click on the link that goodguys.com sends you. Rather you have to: (a) go to http://www.con-wayair.com (b) under Fastrac select shipper reference number and then (c) enter the order number you got from goodguys.com
3) The free shipping is ground shipping so its going to take awhile (e.g about 10 days for me) before you get your product."

"Ordered a Konica Minolta DiMAGE F100 4.0 MP Digital Zoom Camera on April 13th. I received a confirmation email later that day. I got an email from them with a tracking number on the 19th - 6 days later. Package arrived at my house on the 26th; shipped from Oregon - took a LONG time, 7 days! So I received my camera 13 days after ordering it. The camera works great and I got a good deal on it. But it took forever for them to get the package to me. I don't mind that it took so long except that they never told me it would take nearly half a month. They need to advertise how long it takes. They also changed their policy and charged me tax on my order. I was told by a friend that they were recently bought by CompUSA, so that might explain it. Overall they did okay, but you'll be waiting a long time if you select free shipping. Even if you pay for express shipping, I wouldn't expect your package for at least a week (they say it takes 3-5 days for your order to leave the warehouse)."

"Placed order for a Sony DCR-PC101 on Tuesday and confirmed that item was in stock. The rep said I should receive it the next day. Item didn't actually ship until Saturday, and arrived the following Tuesday. No biggie, but they didn't deliver as promised. However, my card wasn't charged until the day AFTER I received the camera. Reps were friendly and there was no hard sell for warranties or accessories. I decided to use GoodGuys as they would price match *authorized* dealers (not rock bottom prices, but better than retail by far... and free shipping) and for the fact that they had a 14 day satisfaction guaranteed return policy... with NO restocking fee. On a $1000+ purchase, I didn't want to take any chances w/ a marginal internet reseller. All in all, it was a positive experience. "
