They sent me the wrong item and I do not doubt that it was intentionally. The item they shipped was a less expensive version of the item I wanted and did not have the inputs\/outputs I required. When I requested info to send the item back I was asked to ship it to another customer and they would send me a full refund. They did not offer to send me out the correct item, just a full refund. This leads me to believe they never had the item I order at any point in time, before or after my order. What I got was a BAD DEAL. <br><br>I was charged $134.82 (119.99 for a LCD roofmount monitor, 11.23 shipping and 3.60 for a bond that I was supposed to be given a choice on but I was not).<br><br>I received the product and found that it was defective. I paid $12.12 to ship the product back to them. And then\u2026\u2026.<br><br>Gooddeals refunded $119.99, that is right none of the shipping costs or bond cost. After I complained and threatened disputes if they did not refund of all of my money, they refunded another 15.00. I have been robbed of $26.22 in this BAD DEAL.<br><br>I see from other complaints that I am not the only one who got hosed this way. A good business person would not let their business reputation suffer because of these bad practices and small sums.<br><br>In addition they began to ignore my e-mails and had a nasty demeanor when they did communicate. "I cannot add anything that has not already been said. I dealt with the online rep. Tracey, in regards to the stereo, and she was knowledgeable. and really friendly.... she is the reason I bought the unit after looking at it for quite a while.
I received the product only two days after ordering, and could not be happier!
I have already told a couple of friends of mine, and they will be buying from Gooddeals18 as well.
Product:
I bought the Shark 100w cycle stereo, and love it. It is loud enough to hear great tunes even while doing about 65 mph. I own a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom, and I must admit it was hard to find a place to fit the actual unit without cutting away parts under the seat. I finally just decided to zip tie it to my front bar by the radiator. The amp is not waterproof, so I will be restricted to riding only on dry days :). The sound is awesome for 100 watts, I was thinking about a 250w, but this is more than efficient. I wear a full face helmet, and I can still hear the tunage. Now be forewarned that if you buy the chrome set, you may be blinded by the sun depending on where you put the speakers, so be aware of that fact.... I have to paint the face plates to stop the reflection of the blinding sun."
