"Be careful! I called them to see if they had Wiley X eyewear that was legit, i need them for safety. they said yes, so just to make sure, i called wiley X, and they have never heard of Go Optics or Eye Trends, and are not sure how they optain their glasses. They told me to be aware of fake ones and referred me to my local optical shop or their website."

"For a few years I've been looking for a frame I like and was discontinued, May 3, 2013, I looked again and here it was at Go-Optic, I ordered it (decent price), May 9, 2013 I received the frame (fast shipping). I called late at night and got a real person on the phone."

"BE CAREFUL! For a beautiful site with a large selection of frames and lenses are hidden crooks!
30.12.12 - ordered glasses for $208.95 with EMS express delivery. 05.01.13 - received confirmation: "Your Order [858K81304246-984Y] was Sent on 1/4/2013. The Shipping Method used for this Order: International - U.S.P.S. Express Mail [All Other Countries] Your Tracking Number for this Order (if available): EC209772475US"
A month has passed. The track is not updated. I wrote to the USPS, and they immediately (it is important!) confirmed that the parcel did not received.
06.02.13 - I wrote letters to all of the available e-mails with the request to investigate.
07.02.13 - first useless answer: "I will forward this email to the proper department, they will be able to assist you further with your inquiry."
02/08/13 - one more useless answer: "I have forwarded a request to our Shipping Department to contact the USPS for an update on your missing package. Once they update us we will inform you of the status of delivery. Thank you for your patience."
14/02/13 - once again write a letter reminding. I attached the USPS's answer that they have not received the parcel.
14/02/13 - and more: "We apologize for the delay in the response. It appears the USPS is currently researching this matter is we're still waiting for them to get back to us. We will contact them today to see if we have anymore information we can give to you about this shipment."
21/02/13 - and more: "Our Order's Department filed a claim with USPS. Once we hear back from them, we will advise you. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, your patience is appreciated."
Passing through another month. I remind you that USPS answered me within a few hours.
16/03/13 - once again write a reminding letter. No answer.
Total spent $ 208.95, 72 days, a gift (glasses) is not obtained.
I'm paid by card (the other options were not), so no leverage with them not :(
"I used Go-Optic.com for the first time for my most recent purchase and have been pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a specific pair of frames for a long time, and they had the right frames for almost $50 less than anywhere else online. The shipping was fast, the glasses were perfect, and the lenses were crisp and clear.
I ordered the basic plastic lenses, and they are doing the job just fine. I'm just a few hours into the use - but so far so good. Shipping was fast and on-point.
I'd order from them again, and probably will in the near future."
"10% restocking fee for an order that has not even been taken from the shelf. RIP OFF< the order said in process, not dshipped and I still paid a 10% restocking fee. THERE WAS NOTHING TO RESTOCK."
"This company/website is a complete rip-off!! I ordered a new pair or RayBan glasses (with which I'm very familiar through owning many pairs) and GoOptic sent a pathetic excuse for knock-offs. These rivaled the quality of dollar-store 3D glasses. When I called to complain and to look into returning, I was told "We only sell genuine RayBan frames" repeatedly. Wrong. These were even confirmed as fake in my ophthalmologist's office when we had the GoOptic "Raybans" and the real RayBans side by side. Now, I'm stuck paying the 15% restocking fee (thankfully, I just ordered the frames and was getting the lenses elsewhere). But the restocking fee itself is probably worth more than these tacky pieces of cheap plastic. Unbelievable. After waiting almost a month for my frames to arrive, I'm completely outraged."
"Worst service I have ever experiences in a retail establishment. Be warned: Do not purchase from them.
I managed to come across the item I wanted to purchase through a google search. They were the cheapest price on the list with a higher rating but I realized that this was my number one mistake. #1: I originally called the company before my purchase to ask if I could get no signature required shipping since their only method was fedex. The woman who spoke with me did not seem to understand that items can be shipped multiple ways via fedex. She kept reading her que cards stating the exact information that was listed on the website. She provided no help was so ever.
#2: After the purchase was made, I was directed that it should be 7 business days for delivery. After the 8th business day, I checked the status of my purchase on their website and it was still listed under "processing", though they gladly took the money out of my account.
#3: I called them and was treated rudely. I was corrected that it was in fact the 7th business day and that I was wrong. I have never been put down by customer service before but this is just basicly how Go-Optic conducts business, by informing their customers that they are not right.
#4: I was informed that my item needed to be ordered and it had not arrived yet at their facility. (therefore completely voiding out that the item would be at my doorstep within 7 days) The lack of stock was not listed on the website, I was not informed via email or phone that my purchase would be delayed, and the status of my purchase was not even updated online.
#5: I called back to inform them that I needed my item by next week or I would have to cancel my order. (Since I found it cheaper elsewhere online). I was told I would be charged a 10% restocking fee...on an item that wasn't even in stock at their facility! I asked them nicely to take off this charge but they refused. I asked to speak with a manager and "one was not available" on a weekday!
#6: My item was canceled without my approval of the 10% restocking fee therefore they charged me without my consent.
#7: I called back again on a Saturday to dispute the charge and again was refused my full refund. I asked to speak again with a manager and was told there was not a manager available on the weekend. I asked to speak with another representative and was told there was not another representative available, even though I could clearly hear other reps in the background. Therefore, I was also lied to as well.
#8: The representative informed me that he would hang up on me since there was nothing he could do for me. After I informed him not to, he actually hung up on me.
This company is pure fraud, horrible demeaning service from their representatives, will charge your credit cards without actually having the item for sale, lies and cheats. Warning: Do not purchase from them. You will never get your item."
"Dispute coming a month----- I had to actually call and complain to finally get them to process my order........ very nice frames, but Go-Optic NEVER got the prescription right and I returned them with the ophthalmologist's evaluation... warped lens.... the replacement improved a bit, But still are worse then my old glasses... whoever does the lens seems to be the problem.... If you have any complicated prescription DO NOT USE This firm"
"Just got ripped off by go-optic.com after ordering glass frames that they said would be shipped in 3-5 days. When they said 2 weeks I told them to cancel the order, they kept 10% of my money and said I canceled the order. I did but they lied about shipping in their internet site. Too bad I can't give them a zero. Don't buy from go-optic, they can't deliver and will probably never deliver to you but will bill you on the day you place the order."

"First and possibly most importantly, I did not order lenses from Go-Optic, only frames, and, at that, frames (ogi brand) that I am currently wearing, love, and was desperate to replace.
I was told by my local Canadian optician and another US on-line provider that the colour I wanted was discontinued. I emailed these guys to confirm that they could actually get the frame, then ordered to two of them (spare parts!). In my order, I specified that I did not want the frames if they could not send the right colour.
After hitting send on the order, several days passed. My credit card was charged. A week passed. Still, my order was "processing". Starting to worry, I did some searching and found many websites dedicated to terrible experiences with Go-Optic. Fingers crossed, I waited... and the frames appeared. Perfect condition, exactly as expected. As far as I can tell (bearing in mind the frames beging replaced are quite old, getting discoloured, etc.) the new ones are authentic. They also came with cases and lens clothes.
So, for me, it worked out fine. Would I try again? Undecided/certainly not for lenses. The processing took longer than I would have expected, and the USPS tracking is useless. That, combined with the overwhelmingly negative reviews caused me a fair amount of concern and stress post ordering. It's hard to tell whether there are just a few vocal people out there with a vendetta, but it seems to me that a company that takes customer service serviously would pay some attention to these reviews, in particularly the BBB matters.
In any event, as a very nearly blind person who has worn glasses since I was six, and worked as an optician for a short itme, I think the risk of having your lenses created by someone who is not fitting you in person (and confirming the frame works for your prescription) is just not worth it with any on-line company, particularly with one with such expenses associated with returns/issues. "
"I read the reviews here and was hesitant to order from go-optic, but they were the ONLY place I could find still selling a discontinued Anne Klein frame I needed to replace my broken frames. Since so many reviews mentioned that go-optic sent 'out of stock' replies on items that appeared available, I used the 'chat with go-optic rep' feature on their website. I asked the rep. online if the item I wanted was in stock. He checked and said yes. So I took a chance and ordered....and the frames I needed, in perfect condition, appeared 7 days later at my home! I'm so relieved because I couldn't find these frames anywhere else and they fit my transitions lenses, which were unharmed when my old Anne Klein frames broke. I got a local eyeglass store to swap out the lenses for me. "
"So i ordered the frames online that match the ones i have had for a couple of years. I get an email ten days later that says that my order has been put on back order and that the arrival date has been pushed off for another whole week. I call about it and get told that they are still looking for the frames in their warehouse because the website was not up to date and the frames were actually not in stock. I was told later that the frames were in stock, just not the frame color i wanted. I asked what colors they had in stock and i was told they would have to get back to me. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. I got another email that my order was on back order,AGAIN, and that i would receive them in another week. I called in and talked to "Jeremiah" and he told me that they were waiting on the frames and that the lenses were already made. So i said no problem and hung up. I then called a day later and get the idea that i could get just the lenses and get a local optician to put the new lenses in my old frames (Which are exactly IDENTICAL down to the numbers!). They tell me that the lenses have to be made with the frames to get the correct adjustments, etc, etc. and that the lenses were never made! I get I then decide to cancel the order and was referred to someone else that told me that there would be a 10% restocking fee for the frames and that i would have to pay the full amount on the lenses because they were already cut. That they would be keeping up to ~$200. I told them that i would call them back with a decision. I get an email that they have refunded everything but the $200 for restocking and that the order had been canceled. WTF! i call them up and they tell me that the order had been canceled, i said no it hadnt and told them to see if they still had all my money. they said yes. SO WTF? they end up reversing the cancellation and continue the shipment. several days later im watching the fedex tracking number and its getting closer and closer and one state from my location it sais that the shipment was "Refused By Recipient" How could i even refuse it if it never got to me? I call them up and talk to Jeremiah again and he says that the order is still canceled, WTF i fixed this in the past two calls! so now the package has to be shipped back to them to send it to me again. It has been shipped to "Their Corporate Office". so i tell them i will just pick it up there, its only a two hour drive. and they tell me "oh no you cant do that","the glasses have already been shipped back to California" and i ask to have the tracking number so i can keep track of it. "Oh threes no tracking number","Its being shipped between our two buildings" I Dont Think So!! So now im going to the bank tomorrow and settling this for good.
There is a place for you in hell Jeremiah! I hope you and your coworkers burn in hell!"
