"I am trying to recoup a transfer for more that US$ 7,000 which was sent with what they say "wrong reference" (fact is, the reference was WITH an explanation of product requested, which they say their system does not recognice). After 5 months and dozens of mails, I cannot recoup my money."

"I am usually very careful when ordering online. This was no exception, although they do only offer bank transfer. The invoice appeared, I transferred the money and the next day the tracking number appeared and I tracked the order all the way from Singapore to Australia.

It arrived in 4 days which is pretty speedy. They use courier delivery and you can track the progress from the courier's own site. The tripod was exactly as I expected, in full retail packaging including instructions. The price was even better than ebay prices, and way cheaper than any Australian retailer. Other products are reasonably priced, or a bit cheaper on ebay.

I hope the tripod holds up and I will check their site again if I need anything in the future.

I'm not sure what the other comments below are about, I think if you make a bad comment around here you get threatened to take it down. I have had no contact from the company and this is a truthful review. Just always be careful no matter who you are buying from and make sure you know the product inside out before you order."

"Globlmediapro has a reasonably priced battery for the RED ONE. After hesitating to purchase this battery because of Globalmediapro's low rating, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchased the battery. However, the process was far from pain free and their customer service is appalling.

Here are the big problems:

1: Reaching Customer Service for Inquiries. Globablmediapro's customer service model leaves alot to be desired. If you have any questions at all about their products that cannot be found on their website you must first register with their website and then you actually have to ORDER the product... just to make contact with them. Unlike 99% of most retailers, they have no listed phone number (or call center, as they refer to it.) Their website also lists no email addresses, you know, to make inquiries much easier.

After some serious searching, I found an email address (through an outside party) sales@globalmediapro.com.

2: Getting a seeming straight answer was impossible. Here is the gist of my question. "What kind of DC power-out receptacle does you Li190S Lithium ion Battery use?" I needed this info so I could have a cable made to power a RED ONE. I asked this simple question six different ways and received six rude, convoluted answers before I gave up asking globablmediapro. Once again, I had to go to another source for this information. By the way, it is called a "P Tap."

3: After taking delivery of the Batter Charger, I discovered that the charger is set up to work in European Nations, not North America. After trying to contact and being ignored by Globalmediapro, 3 times over of two weeks, I have given up.

Avoid this outfit like the black plague.

“1. We do not do sales talk. We do not send emails offering new products. We do not publish reviews on ourselves and do not pay much for publicity. We only offer products on the web for a reasonable price.

2. We often cannot answer technical questions as we have limited ability to deal with the high number of requests. We are working on better product description to help customers make the right choice.

3. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We offered a full refund. Our chargers work with US voltage. The power cable sent was incorrect.”

"Payment for US Customers is done through a bank wire. I was extremely skeptical since it cost me an additional fee to wire money. After payment was made, I received an e-mail saying they would not be able to fulfill my order and I would receive a refund. I assumed I would be out the wire fee, which irritated me. I asked for a refund of the wire fee in addition to the product refund, and they gave it to me! They made the refund payment via PayPal so there were no more fees from my perspective. I'm not sure why PayPal isn't accepted as a method of payment since they have an account. If you would rather not pay by wire, I would suggest contacting Customer Service and ask if you can pay via PayPal. Overall, I was extremely impressed and pleased!"

"I funded the store april the 27th for a Panasonic AG-AF100. I received the item bu DHL on the 3D of may in Belgium! Everything went perfect. I am delighted by the service and the camera as well!! I already own a Canon XH-A1S but this one is another world by the possibilities ( I have 11 Nikon lenses and, among them, the "3G ED" 14-24,24-70,70-200, and a 500mm/4 new one and a 24mm PC, new one also) It is really miraculous.
I formerly ordered a Canon XF-300 to renew my XH-A1S. But i had to cancel ( see my former comment) as the disposal was not evident. GMP counseled me to make up my mind again. So did I for my joy! I then studied the comment of Nigel Cooper ( DVuser: www.dvuser.co.uk, "Panasonic AG-AF101 HD Camcorder" ). This excellent pro had sent another comment abaout the coming soon Sony Nex. As the study for the Sony was bad, the one for the Pana. AG. was dithyrambic! Fully justified. The Pana is ready for your hand, every remark is just even if you must agree with the fact that it was a pre-serie model.
Thank you GMP. I'll recommend you and order again. "
