I had ordered five (5) power strips and was not informed they were backordered or given an estimated ship date. I had to call Global when they had not been delivered in four weeks. While Global was helpful when I called and contacted the vendor and confirmed they were indeed on the way I was not happy with the lack of information and the fact I had to call them to get a status update. An e-mail telling me the power strips were going to be late would have been helpful and I could have ordered more from another vendor that would not impact my timeline.
