File cabinet spacer

"We had prompt service and got the item before we expected it. It was not the correct size, (not the companies' fault) we ordered the wrong thing. However, the order said we could not return or replace it. So we were stuck with something we couldn't use and ended up sending to surplus."

Terrible after sales customer service.

"Ordered 2 items for a commercial washroom. One item shipped the same day, other item is still on backorder two weeks later. 2 emails and 3 days later, finally get an eta for shipment on other item - about a month from ordering, even though website showed same day shipping.

If I had been told that the item was out of stock, I would have just cancelled the order and ordered from someone that had it in stock, but there was zero communication.

Not surprisingly, when I voiced my displeasure with their poor service, all communication stopped. They just don't care. My client is angry with me for the delay and I pride myself on good customer service. Global has messed that up for me on this job.

Anything that can be found on Global Industrial can be found elsewhere. I strongly suggest purchasing somewhere else. I know I will never use them again.

Great product!..but shipping not the greatest.

"Have ordered in the past. Product is great & very useful for application. However this time, package showed up with one end of box ripped apart and no protective packaging/wrap/foam. Had slight damage on one end. Still worked ok, so got lucky. "

Excutive Chair Purchase

"My experience with purchasing an executive high-back office chair from Global was good. I was contacted by a sales Rep that assisted in completing my on-line order and then promptly given a tracking for my item. Few days after that another email followed with some discrepancies about the time frame and back ordering but was quickly cleared up. Needless to say, I received my chair on time and it was stunning.

Told me item was on backorder for months when it was actually in stock

"I ordered an item 4 months ago and was told it was on backorder. Not a problem, it happens. The dates I would get kept coming and going, sometimes I'd get a new date and sometimes not. Got tired of it so I cancelled my order, but at the same time I noticed their website said the same exact item was in stock and ready to ship. I took a chance and ordered it again, and sure enough it showed up on time. So who knows how long these guys were stringing me along with backorder dates that were months out while they actually had the item in stock. Pretty frustrating. On top of this, Global does a pretty poor job of communicating with customers. Several emails went unanswered or half-answered. Definitely doesn't feel like they want my money."
