"I have been purchasing gifts for executives from Gifts for Professionals for approximately four years. The customer service I have received has been excellent; the speed of delivery of items ordered has been great. On the rare occasion that I needed to return an item, the process was without issue and the item replaced immediately. I will continue to order gifts from Gifts for Professionals in the future and recommend them to others."

"Gifts For Professionals has ALWAYS done a fabulous job with everything I have ordered from them. Their customer service is spot-on - Josie M. is just stellar! Their attention to detail is perfect and they deliver a finished product with precision timing!
"I ordered two pens for a Waterford Crystal Pen Holder. When they arrived, one was in good, working condision, the other had a point that would not decend and a large blob of ink coming out. Their return policy states that you must pay to return the merchandise and they will credit for the amount of the pen. What kind of a company makes you pay to return faulty merchandise? I will never order from them again, and neither shouldyou."
"I ordered a zippered leather binder with reverse embossing on it. I received a nice zippered leather binder with the personalization on a shiny piece of metal glued to the binder. An initial Email resulted in a response that the only personalization was the reverse leather embossing. I replied with a description and a picture of my product, and asked for some sort of resolution. Three phone calls and five Emails have not resulted in any response. In my opinion, this is not a company I would recommend dealing with."
"Really their motto should be "Gifts for UN-professionals" Trust me people, I WISH I HAD READ these previous reviews before trusting this company. Not worth the money & definitely not worth your time. Our order arrived damaged, scuffs all over the very expensive plaques, and Josie somehow tried to blame us, then the globe on one plaque recently started sliding, coming unglued.. she said it must be due to humidity, I told her we are in Chicago, might as well be Alaska this time of year, no humidty.. nice try. Then she said 'the scuffs weren't a big deal, we're actualy shocked you returned them for that reason" I said when you pay almost $200 per plaque, I expect a high quality item, we received nothing of the sort. Just extremely disappointed and feeling taken advantage of as a consumer."
"INCOMPETENT is the perfect word to describe the people at Gift for Professionals. They have absolutely no idea what customer service is. I ordered a gift and was not satisfied, instead of offering me a solution they were rude and defensive. When I asked to speak to a manager "Josie" hung up on me four times. When I finally got transfered to a manager it was a voicemail. I will NEVER order from them again!"
"TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! After patiently waiting 3 months for a backordered item I purchased, I recently called to check on its status. The customer services agent was at a loss regarding WHEN or even IF the item had been ordered, since being on backorder 3 months prior. She explained that there was absolutely no way of tracking this information, of knowing, if my back-ordered product had been ordered, as well as when it would/could arrive. I could not believe the ridiculousness of this insanity! I asked for a manager and was put through to a voicemail. To-date, I have never received a call back. Then, come to find out in an email that same day, the Sales Manager- Heather Raymond took it upon herself to cancel my order after hearing of my “dissatisfaction and confusion” regarding my order; apparently from the sales agent. When I called days later hoping to speak to any-type of manager, I was told a strict NO, and that “I WAS OBVIOUSLY A DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER, AND I SHOULD MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE!” WOW! The most mind boggling thing of this entire situation is that at NO point in any conversation was I rude or obnoxious in behavior to anyone! I simply wanted information regarding the status of my purchase order! I would not, could not; trust this company for anything!"
"I placed an order on Nov 18th. I received an email the next day saying the item was being shipped. 2 days later I received another email saying the item was on backorder but was expected to ship on the 28th. I emailed the company to confirm this would ship. I got a response saying it was backordered but would be in within a few days. 2 weeks later I sent another email asking for the status of the order since I needed it by December 20th (which is why I ordered it more than a month ahead of time). I got no response. I checked the status on the webpage & it said it was still on backorder. I waited 2 days then emailed again. This time when I checked the status on the webpage it said it would ship Dec. 6th. I also got no response to the 2nd email. Yesterday I called the phone number & was told by the customer service girl that she would check on the order and call me back within a few minutes & she would email the status to me too. I got no email nor any call back. I checked the status this morning on the webpage & it said it's still on backorder. I tried calling the phone number all day and was forwarded to a voicemail every time I called all day long. I finally went on the webpage this evening (December 14th) & cancelled the order. After cancelling the order it told me the status was that it was estimated to ship on December 16th. After a month of poor communication & still no confirmation that it would actually ship on the 16th (which would make it arrive later than the Dec 20th that I needed it by) I was forced to cancel an order I've been waiting nearly a month for. I had to place the order on another webpage & pay $20 to expedite the shipping in order to receive it in time. I will never shop with giftsforprofessionals.com ever again."
"We ordered two world globes from Gifts For professionals. The owner, Josie, did call us the next day to say that the larger globe was out of stock, and she canceled that part of the order when I asked her to. She said the smaller globe was "at the warehouse", so we kept that part of our order active. She also added that she "would probably have it the next morning". Since their orders are, according to them, filled and shipped from their warehouse, this seemed odd. Why would it go to her?
A few days later, we had no word about shipping. I called and got a machine that wouldn't let me leave a message unless I had an extension number. I sent an email and got no reply. I sent another email and a man did eventually reply. He said they "did" have the item and that if it didn't ship in two days, they'd cancel the order. Two days later, we still had no info re: this. I called and got the same machine. I emailed and got no reply. I then called the next day, spoke with the owner, and she told me that they DID have the item but that it was "on the wrong shelf" and they just found it. I didn't believe her and I canceled the rest of our order.
My opinion of Gifts For Professionals is this: they sell things they don't have, promise what they can't deliver, and stall the customer for time. If an item is dropped shipped, I'd expect a delay. But to say that "it SEEMS like we have this on hand" and not to verify or ship in a weeks time? Baloney. They probably TRIED to get the globe from a supplier, but stalled me by saying they had it, and then that it was "on the wrong shelf", and by not answering emails in a timely way or at all. Are they crooks? Probably not. Are they deceptive and running a business poorly? Yes. To their credit, our card wasn't charged. Another site like this has a similar negative rating. I won't do business with Gifts For Professionals again."
