Client called GetFeetWet on 3/29 (Thursday) looking to buy a "scope". He was asked what part number or SKU he was interested in. Client indicated that he has no idea. He was advised to check Trijicon website for options. He called back with an order for TA11. The order was taken and was advised that package will ship same day (Thursday) via FREE ground shipping. Client was adivised that the package will ship from California and since he is in Texas, it will take 3 or 4 business days depending on which part of Texas. This is standard across all vendors and across all carriers (FEDEX or UPS) and is always counted as business days.
Client got his package Tuesday (4 business days) and called 1 hour before end of business time. He insisted that the scope did not come with the mounting rail and a screw is missing. We knew that the railing is never part of scope but to support this contention and so that he does not have to simply take our word for it, we asked him if there is any reference in any of the manual that the railing that he is looking for is included in the package. He clearly has not read the documentation at this point.
He later admitted that maybe he is wrong with rail but then indicated that a screw is missing. We suggested that the most expedient way to resolve any issue is for him to call Trijicon and tell them that part number he purchased and go through all the items has received and compare that with what Trijicon says should be included. If there is a part missing which is very rare for a Trijicon product, Trijicon will ship it to him.
We provided him the contact number for Trijicon. We believe that the involvement of Trijicon is the best and most expedient way since the client clearly does not know what he was purchasing, how it is to be mounted and what comes with it. For almost 45 minutes, he kept on insisting that the only way he will be happy at this point is for us ship him another unit Overnight because he thinks there is a screw missing. He insisted that we are "washing our hands" off the matter.
We had to accomodate and continue to plead with the client for almost 1 hour on the phone and explain to him that all it takes is a one phone call to Trijicon to sort it out. Client started threatening us with negative feedback and was trying to extort a second shipment of the same package overnight PLUS other "benefits" for his trouble.
This morning he called Trijicon and Trijicon explained to him what he purchased and how it is to be used. There was no issue to begin with. The client is was simply looking for parts that was never part of the package in the first place. Client is also ignorant of how to count shipping days (Weekends are not business days).
GetFeetWet has dealt with thousands and thousands of clients in its more than decade of service. Our success is mostly due to our loyal client base who has been with us for many years as well as the new clients that are referred to us by these satisfied clients. We have been in this business long enough to understand that we cannot satisfy everybody regardless of how we try. We also have made it a policy not to let blackmailers and extortionists profit from mistakes and perceived shortcomings bourne by their own ignorance and refusal to admit error in their ways.

Our question is: Did you or did you not, demanded that we ship you another package overnight and that we should come up with some benefit to make it up to you for you as the only way you can be happy? Did you or did you not threaten us with negative posting if we do not overnight a package to you despite being told if Trijicon confirms that there is an item missing that we will have them ship the missing part to you and resolve this issue regardless of what it takes?
We never call our legitimate clients these names. People that do what these people do are not clients in good faith but of the kind that have no regard to the of their words to the people and family that depends on the business that we all work hard for.”

He subsequently sent an email asking if the item is color white which we confirmed is. The same email clearly shows description of the item as above. He paid $138.85 which is exactly the item he ordered. Here is the link:

This is simply a case of client who inadvertently ordered the wrong item by himself and will not admit to his mistake despite written and undeniable evidence of his own mistake. Client was refunded what he paid for less the cost of shipping which was extended FREE of charge in the original order.

Your order has an unverified shipping address which different from billing address. As anti-fraud procedure, we need to contact you get information that we can verify. We ship to address other than the billing address but only after we are satisfied that the transaction is not fraudulent. From the order log, Customer Service Rep attempted to reach you 3 times starting at 9AM pacific time and left a message. Your return call and email were logged logged by the system at 5PM. Your email was responded to shortly (after business email support). Our order fulfillment are more efficient that many more popular online shops including those you mentioned but GetFeetWet is very committed to fighting fraud and have fraud screens that are the very best in the industry. I would like to start by saying that I am highly skeptical about using the internet to purchase anything,along with finding deals that seem to be to good to be true and any person or company that has an explanation for why things turnout poorly and how its not their fault, which is why I read every review I can find before ordering from an internet company like Getfeetwet navigation. I found mostly positive reviews about Getfeetwet with the exception of a few and those few reviews were accompanied by an explanation from Getfeetwet, one negative review stuck out it was were Getfeetwet accepted some blame for the way things turned out in that transaction and finished by the customer saying they were very satisfied. That negative review was the reason I chose to order from Getfeetwet.
I ordered a Minnkota Terrova trolling motor and Gregg was my sales rep he was fast, knowledgeable, polite, professional, and most of all made the transaction as easy as possible for a person with limited computer skills to complete the transaction,Gregg sent the paypal request to my enail.
I ordered the trolling motor on a Tuesday, Gregg said it would be to my house on Friday, however there was a slight glitch in the deliver which Gregg took responsibility for, and I received the motor Tuesday of the following week,I believe I cost my self 1 day of delivery when I took my time and actually made the payment much later then what I lead Gregg to believe.
I consider 4 business days very good for free shipping and to get the excellent deal I got. I would also like to speak on the negative reviews I read. I believe most of the problems experienced by the other customers was self inflicted by the customers themselves, Getfeetwet has proven to me that they are worth the risk, accept responsibility for their actions, and have done what it takes to make a customer happy.
