"Good day all,
I would like to start by saying that I am highly skeptical about using the internet to purchase anything,along with finding deals that seem to be to good to be true and any person or company that has an explanation for why things turnout poorly and how its not their fault, which is why I read every review I can find before ordering from an internet company like Getfeetwet navigation. I found mostly positive reviews about Getfeetwet with the exception of a few and those few reviews were accompanied by an explanation from Getfeetwet, one negative review stuck out it was were Getfeetwet accepted some blame for the way things turned out in that transaction and finished by the customer saying they were very satisfied. That negative review was the reason I chose to order from Getfeetwet.
I ordered a Minnkota Terrova trolling motor and Gregg was my sales rep he was fast, knowledgeable, polite, professional, and most of all made the transaction as easy as possible for a person with limited computer skills to complete the transaction,Gregg sent the paypal request to my enail.
I ordered the trolling motor on a Tuesday, Gregg said it would be to my house on Friday, however there was a slight glitch in the deliver which Gregg took responsibility for, and I received the motor Tuesday of the following week,I believe I cost my self 1 day of delivery when I took my time and actually made the payment much later then what I lead Gregg to believe.
I consider 4 business days very good for free shipping and to get the excellent deal I got. I would also like to speak on the negative reviews I read. I believe most of the problems experienced by the other customers was self inflicted by the customers themselves, Getfeetwet has proven to me that they are worth the risk, accept responsibility for their actions, and have done what it takes to make a customer happy. Getfeetwet navigation will see my business again.

"I ordered a ACOG scope from get feet wet. When it arrived it was missing a part. I called them and asked about the issue. I was told by one of their customer services people (Greg) he would look in to it speak to his manager and call me back within 20 mins. After 1 hour I called back. I was told that Greg had left for the day and he had not escalated the issue. I spoke to the owner Colin. He told me that they only ship the equipment and could do nothing for me and I had to call Trijicon direct, basically washing their hands of the issue. I called Trijicon and they sorted out the issue for me immediately. Get feet wet have no technical knowledge of any product they sell and only drop ship the product. Customer service is non-existent. If you can find a similar product else where I suggest you DO NOT use get feet wet. My experience was not good. Shipping is advertised as 3 day, it took 5 days and they again wash their hands of any responsibility.

I am responding to get feet wet. It's nice to see that you call your clients ignorant, black mailers and extortionist...??? I know i will not do business with a company that thinks of their customers that way.

I was asked what your company could do to make this right with me, i did not demand anything. I said that you can send me a replacement scope overnight as the one you sent was incomplete and I needed it for this weekend. I certainly did not ask for anything else to compensate me. Also you have now accused me of threatening you.I did not threaten i told you I would be sending in a negative response as your customer service is shocking and that is exactly what this review process is for. "

“Greetings:

Client called GetFeetWet on 3/29 (Thursday) looking to buy a "scope". He was asked what part number or SKU he was interested in. Client indicated that he has no idea. He was advised to check Trijicon website for options. He called back with an order for TA11. The order was taken and was advised that package will ship same day (Thursday) via FREE ground shipping. Client was adivised that the package will ship from California and since he is in Texas, it will take 3 or 4 business days depending on which part of Texas. This is standard across all vendors and across all carriers (FEDEX or UPS) and is always counted as business days.

Client got his package Tuesday (4 business days) and called 1 hour before end of business time. He insisted that the scope did not come with the mounting rail and a screw is missing. We knew that the railing is never part of scope but to support this contention and so that he does not have to simply take our word for it, we asked him if there is any reference in any of the manual that the railing that he is looking for is included in the package. He clearly has not read the documentation at this point.

He later admitted that maybe he is wrong with rail but then indicated that a screw is missing. We suggested that the most expedient way to resolve any issue is for him to call Trijicon and tell them that part number he purchased and go through all the items has received and compare that with what Trijicon says should be included. If there is a part missing which is very rare for a Trijicon product, Trijicon will ship it to him.

We provided him the contact number for Trijicon. We believe that the involvement of Trijicon is the best and most expedient way since the client clearly does not know what he was purchasing, how it is to be mounted and what comes with it. For almost 45 minutes, he kept on insisting that the only way he will be happy at this point is for us ship him another unit Overnight because he thinks there is a screw missing. He insisted that we are "washing our hands" off the matter.

We had to accomodate and continue to plead with the client for almost 1 hour on the phone and explain to him that all it takes is a one phone call to Trijicon to sort it out. Client started threatening us with negative feedback and was trying to extort a second shipment of the same package overnight PLUS other "benefits" for his trouble.

This morning he called Trijicon and Trijicon explained to him what he purchased and how it is to be used. There was no issue to begin with. The client is was simply looking for parts that was never part of the package in the first place. Client is also ignorant of how to count shipping days (Weekends are not business days).

GetFeetWet has dealt with thousands and thousands of clients in its more than decade of service. Our success is mostly due to our loyal client base who has been with us for many years as well as the new clients that are referred to us by these satisfied clients. We have been in this business long enough to understand that we cannot satisfy everybody regardless of how we try. We also have made it a policy not to let blackmailers and extortionists profit from mistakes and perceived shortcomings bourne by their own ignorance and refusal to admit error in their ways.

Our question is: Did you or did you not, demanded that we ship you another package overnight and that we should come up with some benefit to make it up to you for you as the only way you can be happy? Did you or did you not threaten us with negative posting if we do not overnight a package to you despite being told if Trijicon confirms that there is an item missing that we will have them ship the missing part to you and resolve this issue regardless of what it takes?

We never call our legitimate clients these names. People that do what these people do are not clients in good faith but of the kind that have no regard to the of their words to the people and family that depends on the business that we all work hard for.”

"Very happy with the prompt response I received when I inquired on an item. I called them and placed my order by phone and wanted to confirm avaialbility. The customer service person was very helpful in helping me confirm the item because their website didn't have a product photo. My optic shipped fast and the transaction was trouble free. Got exactly what I wanted for a great price. Sorry to see so few reviews but hopefully they will keep up this great service and get many more satisfied customers."

"Bought a T-POD G2FA rifle foregrip. They had the best price and I had it within 3 days of ordering. There are knockoffs of this product floating around so I was a little worried but item was the real deal. Simply painless experience."

This is simply a case of client who inadvertently ordered the wrong item by himself and will not admit to his mistake despite written and undeniable evidence of his own mistake. Client was refunded what he paid for less the cost of shipping which was extended FREE of charge in the original order.

"I ordered a Barnett crossbow package from GetFeetWet. Their price was a full $40 less than anywhere else I could find the same product. When I called customer service to get an update on my order, I was informed it was already delivered and I was given a tracking number. I ordered it just before noon on 22 Sept and it arrived at my door via UPS just after noon on 24 Sept. Fast processing and friendly customer service."

"Placed an order for a rifle scope on Saturday and received no order confirmation e-mail. Monday afternoon PDT I received a v-mail asking me to CALL them and confirm my shipping address because it is different than my billing address. I order on line because I travel internationally 200 days a year. They want me to confirm info that is correct by phone from 16 time zones away? They have no customer service available after "normal business hours". Argh!! Their normal business hours are between 11PM and 6:00 AM where I am this week. Assuming they ship Tuesday PDT (optimistic?)the delivery will miss the only opportunity I have to sight the scope in before elk season begins! Why didn't I just buy from a brick and mortor store or Cabelas or Midway, or Bass Pro Shops or ...?!! "

“Order confirmations are automatically sent out by the system and since we receive hundreds of orders a day without any indication of nay problem, then it is safe to assume that the problem is not on our side. Otherwise, we will be inundated with phone calls.

Your order has an unverified shipping address which different from billing address. As anti-fraud procedure, we need to contact you get information that we can verify. We ship to address other than the billing address but only after we are satisfied that the transaction is not fraudulent. From the order log, Customer Service Rep attempted to reach you 3 times starting at 9AM pacific time and left a message. Your return call and email were logged logged by the system at 5PM. Your email was responded to shortly (after business email support). "I ordered my Garmin GPSMap 478 and GXM30 antenna at about 8:30pm. Before Noon the next day, they had my order boxed, and shipped out to me. I logged on to their online chat, and had a conversation with Gregg about my order status because I wasn't sure my order "took" due to it being at night. He assured me that they had my order and that everything would ship that day.
I highly recommend GetFeetWet.com for all your GPS needs!!!

Update:
I received my Garmin GPS unit exactly as described and just exactly when they said it would be here. I am extremely satisfied with GetFeetWet.com and will be doing business with them again."

"I places my order at 5:30 cst on 10-02-07 and they had my tracking number to me in five minutes.
I ordered the Garmin 172c a refeb unit. I was able to get it for 250.00 less than a new unit locally not including tax.
They sell referb units that carry the same warrenty as a new one. FedEx dekevered the unit to me at 11:30 10-05.
I was well packed with fell unfo and all cables in the factory box.
Garmin call the unit Newly Overhauled.
Getfeet wett is a grear company to do business with."

"I tracked this order and found it was delivered to the wrong address, Fedex can't find it and I am out over $700.
This company hasn't returned any emails and I can't reach them by phone.

Although it is actually a fedex mistake, getfeetwet needs to take action and satisfy a sale.

I am leaving this Wed. on a week long boat trip and am without a GPS... NOT HAPPY.
If they don't "next day" my GPS at their expense so I have it for the trip, I am disputing the order with my CC company and going elwhere to spend my money.

UPDATE!
After not hearing anything and getting mighty aggrevated, they finally contacted me and after some coaxing they have sent another order along by 2nd day air and I should have it soon... we'll see if it gets here.
I will say that they followed up and satisfied a very irate customer and I can definately give a few thumbs up and recommend them to you all...
