"I was skeptical dealing with an online store initially but a friend bought from this company and recommended them. My partners and I bought a 34 footer and needed to outfit it with almost $28k of equipment. We gave the same list to Getfeetwet. They presented some modifications to the original list that not only saved some significant dollars but also prevented a potential problem with the transducer configuration. If we proceeded with the original design, we may have to dry dock the boat again as the problem may have been life threatening. These guys know their stuff and the pricing is very competitive. "When placing my order, I noticed that a shipping charge had been added. My understanding was that shipping was free. It was a classic buyer/seller dispute. However, in this instance, the seller, Get Feet Wet, took the high road and deducted the shipping charges from my order.There was also a question regarding the item that I ordered. The manufacturer had made some rather significant changes from the 2011 model to the 2012 version, but neglected to change the part number. I e-mailed customer service inquiring as to which version I was getting. I received a reply that they checked the actual boxes in their stock, and determined that the stated specifications were for the 2012 model.In summary, my purchase was not a simple transaction, but GFW customer service handled things quickly and professionally. it was refreshing to deal with a problem and to be met with something other than apathy. Finding a company with very good prices AND excellent customer service is rare. I now have a new source for my outdoor and boating needs.BTW:I ordered the crossbow after hours on Friday and received it today (Wednesday). That's just 2 business days after the order was processed Monday. The product was in the original factory packaging, and was exactly the item that I was told I would receive. Difficult to argue with those results."
"Have used this company three times now and has always delivered as promised. The last transaction did not go smoothly as FEDEX somehow lost the package. Called GetFeetWet and they sent a replacement even before the claim against FEDEX is resolved. Will do business again"

"I ordered a pair of ESS Turbofan goggles in Tan from Spearhook.com, because the price was way lower than anywhere else. I had never heard of them before so was a little wary but I decided to go ahead and buy it. I should also add that I received no tracking number for my package, but Gregg was happy to provide me with one when I emailed him.One week later (not bad) the goggles showed up. Unfortunately, they had shipped me black ones instead of the tan ones (I specifically bought from them because they were the only people who had the tan ones in stock at a reasonable price). No biggie, I work in a receiving department, people make mistakes all the time. I called customer service and spoke to Gregg, who was very polite and helpful. I shipped the goggles back to them, paid for shipping myself, and Gregg re-ordered the tan ones for me, which had actually gone down in price, so that worked in my favor. Gregg told me he would take $6 off my new order to cover shipping costs of the return (my shipping cost $12, no big deal) and that once my return was received, I would be refunded for my first order.Another week went by, my return got to them and my new tan goggles (yay!) got to me. Add another 5 business days for the refund to completely process through their end and through my bank account, and everything is peachy. I have been very pleased with Gregg's customer service throughout this entire process. Processing and shipping could have been a little faster (maybe they could have rush-shipped my new tan ones to make up for the mistake, but no complaint here) but overall I'm pleased with how my order was handled.However, I think I would not buy from them again unless I saw another crazy deal like the goggles I found. Amazon is so much easier to use and usually has the best prices. I know being a small company it is hard to compete with a giant like Amazon, but maybe they could see about selling through Amazon?Anyway, thanks again to Gregg!"
"Good day all,I would like to start by saying that I am highly skeptical about using the internet to purchase anything,along with finding deals that seem to be to good to be true and any person or company that has an explanation for why things turnout poorly and how its not their fault, which is why I read every review I can find before ordering from an internet company like Getfeetwet navigation. I found mostly positive reviews about Getfeetwet with the exception of a few and those few reviews were accompanied by an explanation from Getfeetwet, one negative review stuck out it was were Getfeetwet accepted some blame for the way things turned out in that transaction and finished by the customer saying they were very satisfied. That negative review was the reason I chose to order from Getfeetwet.I ordered a Minnkota Terrova trolling motor and Gregg was my sales rep he was fast, knowledgeable, polite, professional, and most of all made the transaction as easy as possible for a person with limited computer skills to complete the transaction,Gregg sent the paypal request to my enail. I ordered the trolling motor on a Tuesday, Gregg said it would be to my house on Friday, however there was a slight glitch in the deliver which Gregg took responsibility for, and I received the motor Tuesday of the following week,I believe I cost my self 1 day of delivery when I took my time and actually made the payment much later then what I lead Gregg to believe. I consider 4 business days very good for free shipping and to get the excellent deal I got. I would also like to speak on the negative reviews I read. I believe most of the problems experienced by the other customers was self inflicted by the customers themselves, Getfeetwet has proven to me that they are worth the risk, accept responsibility for their actions, and have done what it takes to make a customer happy. "I ordered a ACOG scope from get feet wet. When it arrived it was missing a part. I called them and asked about the issue. I was told by one of their customer services people (Greg) he would look in to it speak to his manager and call me back within 20 mins. After 1 hour I called back. I was told that Greg had left for the day and he had not escalated the issue. I spoke to the owner Colin. He told me that they only ship the equipment and could do nothing for me and I had to call Trijicon direct, basically washing their hands of the issue. I called Trijicon and they sorted out the issue for me immediately. Get feet wet have no technical knowledge of any product they sell and only drop ship the product. Customer service is non-existent. If you can find a similar product else where I suggest you DO NOT use get feet wet. My experience was not good. Shipping is advertised as 3 day, it took 5 days and they again wash their hands of any responsibility. I am responding to get feet wet. It's nice to see that you call your clients ignorant, black mailers and extortionist...??? I know i will not do business with a company that thinks of their customers that way.3rd response.I was asked what your company could do to make this right with me, i did not demand anything. I said that you can send me a replacement scope overnight as the one you sent was incomplete and I needed it for this weekend. I certainly did not ask for anything else to compensate me. Also you have now accused me of threatening you.I did not threaten i told you I would be sending in a negative response as your customer service is shocking and that is exactly what this review process is for. "Very happy with the prompt response I received when I inquired on an item. I called them and placed my order by phone and wanted to confirm avaialbility. The customer service person was very helpful in helping me confirm the item because their website didn't have a product photo. My optic shipped fast and the transaction was trouble free. When I called customer service to get an update on my order, I was informed it was already delivered and I was given a tracking number. I ordered it just before noon on 22 Sept and it arrived at my door via UPS just after noon on 24 Sept. Fast processing and friendly customer service."
"Placed an order for a rifle scope on Saturday and received no order confirmation e-mail. Monday afternoon PDT I received a v-mail asking me to CALL them and confirm my shipping address because it is different than my billing address. I order on line because I travel internationally 200 days a year. They want me to confirm info that is correct by phone from 16 time zones away? They have no customer service available after "normal business hours". Argh!! Their normal business hours are between 11PM and 6:00 AM where I am this week. Assuming they ship Tuesday PDT (optimistic?)the delivery will miss the only opportunity I have to sight the scope in before elk season begins! Why didn't I just buy from a brick and mortor store or Cabelas or Midway, or Bass Pro Shops or ...?!! "
"I ordered my Garmin GPSMap 478 and GXM30 antenna at about 8:30pm. Before Noon the next day, they had my order boxed, and shipped out to me. I logged on to their online chat, and had a conversation with Gregg about my order status because I wasn't sure my order "took" due to it being at night. He assured me that they had my order and that everything would ship that day.I highly recommend GetFeetWet.com for all your GPS needs!!!Update: I received my Garmin GPS unit exactly as described and just exactly when they said it would be here. "I places my order at 5:30 cst on 10-02-07 and they had my tracking number to me in five minutes.I ordered the Garmin 172c a refeb unit. I was able to get it for 250.00 less than a new unit locally not including tax. They sell referb units that carry the same warrenty as a new one. FedEx dekevered the unit to me at 11:30 10-05. I was well packed with fell unfo and all cables in the factory box.Garmin call the unit Newly Overhauled.Getfeet wett is a grear company to do business with."
"I tracked this order and found it was delivered to the wrong address, Fedex can't find it and I am out over $700.This company hasn't returned any emails and I can't reach them by phone.Although it is actually a fedex mistake, getfeetwet needs to take action and satisfy a sale.I am leaving this Wed. on a week long boat trip and am without a GPS... NOT HAPPY.If they don't "next day" my GPS at their expense so I have it for the trip, I am disputing the order with my CC company and going elwhere to spend my money.UPDATE!After not hearing anything and getting mighty aggrevated, they finally contacted me and after some coaxing they have sent another order along by 2nd day air and I should have it soon... we'll see if it gets here.I will say that they followed up and satisfied a very irate customer and I can definately give a few thumbs up and recommend them to you all...VERY SATISFIED!Thanks guys!"
